    How to remove browser warning message in HTML 5 Cap 8 projects?

    My conclusion after a morning struggling with this, is that there's no point in suppressing the message if your html5 content then goes on to misbehave in Firefox (like mine does).  I've chosen to keep the popup, but change the wording to refer Firefox users to a completely separate Flash version.  The wording of the popup is also in CPM.js.
    Before you all shout at me, no I can't use the multiscreen.html approach, because my Flash version will have to be non-rescaleable, because web objects don't rescale in Flash.

  • How to remove browser warning message in HTML 5 Cap 6 projects?

    Hello,
    Is there any way to remove the following pop-up message from published HTML 5 Captivate 6 projects?
    Adobe Captivate
    This browser does not support some of the content in the file you are trying to view. Use one of the following browsers:
    Internet Explorer 9 or later
    Safari 5.1 or later
    Google Chrome 17 or later
    Our Blackboard 9.1 tech analysts recommend that all students use Firefox, and I'd rather that they don't have to read the above warning message every time they open a module. (The module did work as expected, even in Firefox.)
    Thank you,
    JAB

    Changing .ini is the advice eventually given in the Phonegap forum. (Browser compatibility error in Captivate conversions).
    But there's a much simpler solution offered at the bottom of this page - just a few lines of code at the end of
    function initializeCP() { in the index.html file header.

    Even better, that blog post also shows how to remove the play button for autoplay and make touch response times faster (for mobiles) - refer to blog for how.
    var _onComplete = cp.complete;
    cp.complete = function() {
        _onComplete();
        $("#CPUnSupportedBrowserWarning_ID").remove(); // Removes browser warning
        setTimeout(function() {
            cp.movie.play(); // Skips the play button
        }, 1);

  • Missing Times font error/warning message

    I've been getting a warning message the the Times font could not be found and Times New Roman is replacing it. I've never added Times to the FrameMaker templates, so I'm not sure where it's finding this font. I checked the References pages and it appears that they already use Times New Roman.
    I had also had a problem with FM saying that Arial Black isn't available (even though it's installed on my computer). But once I double-clicked on the font file, it seemed to recognize the Arial Black was available.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!
    Barry

    There are two slightly different things gong on with these two font problems, I think.
    First, it's generally thought to be a FM Best Practice to use the Adobe PDF instance as your default system printer. If you can't, for some reason, there's a free plug-in that will automatically do this just for Frame. Doing this prevents Frame from using fonts that are physically in the printer, but not installed on your system, and not transportable with the document (and can't be embedded in PDFs). And conversely, makes sure that FM uses system fonts. So that may fix some of these problems.
    That said, if you're sure your system is set up properly, the Time font you may be missing is likely to be buried deep in some Frame files and is being used internally on Reference or Master pages. If you modify your Preferences so that Remember Missing Fonts is NOT activated, open and save the problem files, your available fonts should be substituted.
    Arial Black is a slightly different problem, but you can do the same Preferences trick to clean it up. Or, fix the problem, created with XP SP3 changed the fonts.... http://icrontic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=71801

  • How to Suppress a warning message in Reports

    Hi All,
    I am getting REP-32751: Warning: Some text segments are missing warning message when ever i open a report and also while run the report in the browser. I am not able to find the missing text segments. Is there any way to suppress this warning message in oracle reports 10g?. Please let me know.
    Regards,
    Prasad.

    Just was curious and was in Metalink anyways and looked up your Error:
    >
    Another workaround: open the report under the desired NLS_LANG, and OK all the warning messages. Once the report is opened, save it (under a different name). This will fill out missing text segments with blanks,which is OK because these strings never appear in the report anyway (theyshould have been deleted...)

    regards,

    Hi ,
    Seems as if only the online Mirrorlogs are missing and the original logfiles must be there,,otherwise your database would have crashed.
    Check the original log directories('/oracle/UQ1/origlogA/ & '/oracle/UQ1/origlogB/' and you must be having files there and proceed as following.
    1. If the database is shut down
    just copy the member that is still available to the locatation & name of the missing member
    2. If the database is open
    drop the member out of the group and recreate it sqlplus '/ as sysdba'
    SQL> ALTER DATABASE DROP LOGFILE MEMBER '<path/filename>';
    SQL> ALTER DATABASE ADD LOGFILE MEMBER '<path/filename>' to group X;
    If the disk, on which the member was created on, does not exist anymore, you can specify a different location in the add logfile member command
    This should help.

  • Warning messages in mapping deployment window

    Hi all,
    After deploying a mapping I got several warning messages but have no clues as to what and where they are referring to. Example of a warning message that I got:
    ORA-06550: line 32250, column 11:
    PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored
    Do anyone of you know where the line 32250 and column 11 is exactly referring to? I need to see the code in order to know wat's the error. Do I refer to the script in the Script tab? But it seems to refer to nowhere if that is the case...

    Sutirtha Roy wrote:
    Hi ,
    The line numbers in the error messages are usually offset from the start of the package body, but the generated code listing has the package spec and body. So for example you got this one:
    LINE 671 ,COLUMN 12:
    PL/SQL: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
    So you want to find package body line 671. So inside the generated code viewer, find the text "CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY". Note the line number where that occurs, then add it to 671, that should be your actual line number.
    Thanks,
    SutirthaThanks Sutirtha,
    I finally made sense of where the warning messages were referring to. But I could not understand why some of these messages were produced. The scenario is like this.
    I added a unique key constraint on the attribute suppcode in the supplierwh table, and for all instances of this supplierwh table in my mapping where the loading type is "Update", I set the loading properties for both "match column when updating" and "match column when deleting" to No. Validation has got no errors but upon deployment warning messages were produced. Half of these warning messages were of this type:
    Warning
    ORA-06550: line 2449, column 41:
    PL/SQL: ORA-00936: missing expression
    Upon checking where these similar type of warning messages were referring to, all of them were pointing to codes something like below:
    "MERGE_SUBQUERY"
    ON (
    *"T_SUPPLIERWH_T1UPDATE"."SUPPCODE" = AND*
    "T_SUPPLIERWH_T1UPDATE"."SUPPKEY" = "MERGE_SUBQUERY"."SUPPKEY_1"
    I believe the error codes are the ones in bold because there is nothing after the = sign. But I do not understand why this is so. Can anyone help?
    Edit: I think I found the reason to this. Is it because of the "match by constraint" attribute? What does this attribute do when set to "All constraints"?

  • How to handle warning message for the fields in tab merging , PERSONAS 2.0

    Hi all,
    Please advice me on the below issue.
    In a transaction VA32 , I have merged the fields from one tab to another tab using tab caching.
    when i try to change the value of  a merged fields , it throws the warnings message. So it is continuously looping from one tab to another tab.
    So i tried to use the additional editor concepts in tab caching as below.
    Looping is stopped and throws warning message in the same tab.
    All the changes are saved successfully only when the enter button is clicked once in the main screen, else the changes are not saved and my previous value remains.
    Anybody have an idea on how we can use Additional actions in Tab caching concepts.
    Thank you,
    Arun

    Hi Kranthi,
    When i try to save the fields which i merged from different tab is not saving.
    Please find the below details.
    Green highlighted fields are custom fields which is merged from different screen like header or item overview screen. This is handled in script button.
    Red highlighted fields are merged from different tab like shipping or sales using tab caching concept.
    While changing the value of the fields which is merged from different tab , and press ENTER then it throws the Warning message if occurs.
    After warning message, if i try to save using the script button for copying all the custom fields which is merged from different screen , pasted it to their respective screens and also saved.
    Its working fine.
    When i try to save it before pressing ENTER button then the respective changes had made in the merged fields from different tab are not reflected.
    How we can handle this issue?
    Thank you,
    Arun

  • Internet Explorer Security Warning Message

    Hi am using pure html and am sure not using any active
    components in my page.
    When i preview in Internet Explorer, though it shows the
    page, but in the top it gives a security warning:
    To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has
    restricted this file from showing active content that could access
    your computer. Click here for options.
    Someone said the the java script tag is giving the warning,
    but even after removing that tag, am getting that warning message
    The same page, doesn't give any error or warning when
    previewd in Firefox!
    Can someone point me where am going wrong in the html code i
    writen?
    Thanks in advance.
    Hammer.
    The Code:
    ----------------

    Hi,
    My immediate reaction is don't panic! If you are testing your
    own page from your own local server then there is nothing to worry
    about. The whole issue of Active X controls is another sore point
    when having to deal with Microsoft's handling of interactive
    content.
    Triggering of the warning can be caused by various things
    other than the obvious contact with dynamic content. Here is an old
    thread from a discussion on why Active X warning appear on your own
    pages.
    http://www.dreamincode.net/forums/showtopic16624.htm
    Googling will find more evidence for you to trace. Your code
    looks fine to me and is not a threat to your system if it came off
    of your own local server.
    Active X is a pain in the butt.

  • No Sun Studio 12 warning message for bitfield sizes?

    Hi,
    Does Sun Studio 12 support GCC bitfield sizes?
    The FAQ for version 11 (http://www.genunix.org/wiki/index.php/Sun_and_GCC_Compiler_Portability) specifially says Sun Studio does not support it. But I do not get any warning message, with any version I have tested (10 & 12). Am I missing some compiler flag or is the C compiler just silently ignoring those?
    Thanks!

    ok I have just found that the -Xc option gives me the following warning:
    warning: nonportable bit-field type
    Does that mean that the compiler is understanding this, but just warning me that this is not portable across different platforms? This would be acceptable in my case...
    Thanks!

  • Open indd without warning message

    Hi....
    currently i am working on a batch job to open indd files from a folder. But those file have character set and image link missing. Once the file is opened, it will pop up the warning windows, and my script can't close the file as well. Finally, it will come up an error because of the warning windows is still open.
    Is there any method to disable warning message?
    my code is something like:
    var myFolder = Folder("C:\\temp_indd");
    var myINDD = myFolder.getFiles("*.indd");
    for (f = 0; f < myINDD.length; f++) {
        app.open(myINDD[f]);
        do_something();
        myINDD[f].close();
    Chris

    Set the user interaction level to ignore each and every warning:
    // The script does not display any dialogs or alerts.
    app.scriptPreferences.userInteractionLevel = UserInteractionLevels.NEVER_INTERACT;
    and make sure this gets reset after your script is done -- because otherwise, InDesign will not display any dialogs and alerts at all:
    // The script displays all dialogs and alerts.
    app.scriptPreferences.userInteractionLevel =
    UserInteractionLevels.INTERACT_WITH_ALL;
    even though the description says "The script ...", this applies to the entire program, not just 'the script'.
