Warning Msg if any open transactions exists while activating Central Block

Hi,
As per business requirements, We used to put central block for the
Business partners(Customers and Contacts) in CRM.
While saving the BP after activating the Central Block,system saves it.
But if there is any OPEN Service Requests or Interaction Record exits
for that BP, it's not throwing any warning message and still saves the
changes.
In standard, Is it possible to throw warning message if any open document exists for that BP. Pl suggest.

    If I understand your question correctly, you want to know how to activate your workflow after transport ?
    Normally, the status of a workflow is included in your transport (if I'm not mistaken)
    So activate/deactivate in your dev-system and transport it..

    HI,
    If it is fresh implementation then you need to check whether any open Production orders are existing with any other system which your client is using i.e. legacy system. If they exist then either they need to close them and start afresh in SAP with Production planning. Alternately, if you decide to bring open production orders then you need to maintain necessary master data for it i.e. BOM , Routing etc. and create Production orders in system. Generally it is recommended to close open production orders etc of legacy system.
    If your project is rollout / upgradation from earlier version, then you can bring open orders etc, through separate order type maintaining for previous version so you can recognise them as older orders of previous version migrated to new system.
    Take decision based on your project situation since you've not mentioned details about project.

  • Open Transactions in ECC for Master Data changes in MDM

    Hi All,
    I have a basic Design question on how to handle the impact of Data changes in MDM for any open transactions with that Master object. For eg if we have a Material set up in MDM and in ECC and there are open Purchase Orders for that Material, now if the Base Unit of Measure is changed in MDM and gets harmonized to ECC(After Workflow approval of the Change) how will it impact the PO attached to the material . Can we do any configuration in ECC that will restrict any Open PO s not to take the new changed value and any new POs taking up the new Base Unit of Measure , or can we set up an alert/notification that will trigger for a PO whenever any Master Data is changed and the PO takes the new changed value on the fly . What will be the best approach from a solution point of view .

    Hi Prabuddha,
    In ECC if a change happens to a master data not all the changes are reflected automatically in the open documents like open PO or open Sales order. Some fields values have to be redetermined for eg: "pricing procedure", some of them needs to be changed manually for eg: "Description". Moreover specific to your eg of Base unit of measure, this is a sensitive field and has lot of impact on the process so there for changing such fields it is necessary to close all the open documents against the Master data record in consideration. This fact is regardless whether the change happens through an IDoc or directly by MM02/XK02/XD02

  • Sessions that I killed in kill status, but no open transactions

    I killed two sessions. My understanding is that they stay in kill status until they rollback. However, I checked v$transaction and I don't have any open transaction. Isn't a transaction open if it is killed and rolling back?

    Exactly. Commit or rollback commands ends a transaction, so the entry in v$transaction is removed after either command completes.

    Why did you get this conclusion? In fact, might the PMON background process has not yet cleaned up the server process at that time and this may not happen for several hours.

  • DBMS_BLOB: ORA-22297: warning: Open LOBs exist at transaction commit time

    I've written this to get to understand BLOBS. I had intended it to take a VARCHAR2 string, convert it to RAW and write the contents to a blob.
    However, DBMS_LOB.Write()) returns the error message "ORA-22297: warning: Open LOBs exist at transaction commit time". Can somebody put me right? Just why is this being returned?

    My database DBA installed 4.2.2 but does know APEX real well he installed becasue he has SYS password which I am not privy to.

    you must extend the log complete, than you'll see the
    object, which caused the error.
    RC = is only warning:
    All the objects were transported successfully.
    Peculiarities occurred for certain objects. These might
    not have been intentional.
    Example:                                                 A warning is given during a transport if the request contains an object  deletion.                                                ...

  • InDesign (10.0.0.70) always asks to save every time I open an existing document (no legacy) even if I don't make any changes, why?

    Literally EVERY time I open an existing document that I created myself before InDesign brings up the "Save" Dialog when I close it. I'm working with the Creative Suite like forever already and only had that sometimes, very rarely before (up to CS6). Now at my new job with CC set up this phenomenon appears. ALL files are saved on local hard drive!
    Any idea or is InDesign now set to ask all the time?

    I totally understand version issues, BUT I did create tons of new documents in CC2014 already and still every time I've been ask to save it only when opening and closing them! Like I said it happens EVERY time and I'm working constantly with InDesign. Up until now I only kinda accepted what it is and didn't have time to deal with that problem...

  • Illustrator CS4 opens fine but cannot open any new or existing files

    I'm running Adobe Illustrator CS4 on my Mac Pro running OSX 10.7 Lion and for some reason I am no longer able to open any new or existing files. Illustrator boots up just fine but 'File>New' gives me nothing. 'File>Open' gives me my usual search box but once a file is selected, again, I get nothing. Dragging a file into Illustrator gives me this response',
    before promptly quitting.
    I have tried deleting all the files from my Illustrator Preferences folder but doesn't seemed to have helped.
    Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

  • ICal hangs while opening an existing event

    I am having so much trouble with iCal on my MacBook 2007 running Lion 10.7.1.
    When I try to open an existing event to edit, everything is frozen for 15 to 20 seconds. I know that's not a long time in the big picture of things, but still, it's quite annoying.
    I have seen 2 different Geniuses at the Apple Store and both were stumped.
    Is it just because my computer is so old? It's barely over the edge of qualifying to use Lion.
    Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks very much.

    OK. I exported the iCal archive and then re-imported it. Now it is freezing and I had to force quit.
    I have other things I need to attend to now. I'll try again.
    I wonder if my computer is just too old.

    Hi, I'm able to hard code a file name and open it, but I'd like to automate the process of opening any files that exist in a particular folder. How would I go about doing that?

    Something along the lines of
    1) Get the list of files in your folder using
    public File[] listFiles(FileFilter filter)
    2) For each file (file) in the list
    InputStream is = new FileInputStream(file)
    Done!
    Be aware, you could run out of system resources.

    There have been issues with the app store and with game center. And they all seem to be on Apple's end. I'd wait for the next update and see if that helps.
