Warning - Role not generated on default connector
Warning - "Role not generated on default connector" when creating a composite role with derived roles:
Hi All,
I get the above error message post addition of roles in the define roles phase of the Role methodology process.
I have referred through the below note which is valid for Business roles and is for GRC 10 SP12 whereas we are on GRC 10 SP16. I couldn't find a similar note for the Composite role.
1794860 - Warning message not correct when generated roles added in BR
Any inputs/notes would be helpful to address this issue to closure.
Regards,
Arun
Hello Arun,
In SPRO config. there is a setting "Maintain mapping for Actions and Connector Groups".
Maintain this setting for all the connectors in the landscape and also define one connector as default for all the four recommended actions something like this.

Hi all,
I have a doubt. When we modify a Master Role and we want to generate this role with the derivated ones SAP GRC shows an error. We have made a research around this situation and saw that whenever we modify a master role(adding transactions, authorizations) one or more derivated roles are broken or have duplicate or triplicate transactions in the authorization tab.
Does anyone know how to fix it???
Kind Regards,
IsaacHello Satyabrat,
Thank for posting the OSS Note. I followed the instructions but still have a problem relating to those specific roles. In the meantime, I've tested the same procedure against another set of uploaded roles from another system, and these roles seem to work well. I'll delete all my roles and reload them once again (we are not yet productive, but nearly there).
I've also noticed that SP12 is a major SP with many changes, we'll also implement SP12 and the latest RTAs before I re-download and import the roles.
Best Regards,

Warning: untrusted X11 forwarding setup failed: xauth key data not generate
Upon connecting to a RedHat Enterprise Linux server via ssh -X I get the following:
Warning: untrusted X11 forwarding setup failed: xauth key data not generated
Warning: No xauth data; using fake authentication data for X11 forwarding.
I have previously (as in last week, ending 11/1/2008) been able to use x11 forwarding from the machine I'm trying to connect to. This problem also occurs with other servers, meaning it must be a problem with my local machine. Any suggestions are welcome.I get that if I use
ssh -Y ...
but NOT with -X.
Do you have a $HOME/.ssh/config or /etc/ssh_config file that is specifying ForwardX11Trusted?
Mostly I ignore the message when I get it as, my X11 forwarding works OK, AND I'm in an environment where my fellow employees could do much naster things to me (and get fired for it), than spoofing my X11 sessions. -
Profiles for Roles showing as not generated
My newly created roles show that their profile versions are not generated although the authorizations tab in PFCG is green and the authorization profile status states that it is generated. No errors were encountered when the role was generated. Older role profiles are OK.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
Rose SchirmacherMy results were the same if generated in Display Authorization Data instead of Change Authorization Data.

Warning: [39028] The features in Database do not match the defaults.
Hi,
We uninstalled obiee and installed it once again for some reason. I placed my repository in correct location, i created the data source with the same name. When i performed global consistency check for my repository it was showing me the warning ,
Warning: [39028] The features in Database " " do not match the defaults. This can cause query problem.
Also i'm unable to view data in the repository. But if i create a new connection pool i was able to view the data for that imported datasource alone, but the warning still remains the same.
I dont know where im going wrong, is there any configuration to be done? How can i set right this
Need help to solve this issue.
Thanks,
Princyhi
go to repository
double click the connection pool name
go to Features tab..
click on Reverts to defaults and click OK and now check the consistency check.. -
PUMP process is Running. Not generating message in report. No replication
Hi,
I am using GoldenGate 11g with Oracle database 11g on IBM AIX server at source and Linux at destination.
I have created the extract process and the pump process but the pump process is not responding.
The report of my PUMP process is as below. I can't see any run time messages getting generated in it. Even the replication is not happening.
Please suggest how to search for the issue here and get the replication working.

URGENT*** Test Client testpoint not generated in WebLogic 10.3.0.0
Hi,
I have created very basic "Java EE 1.5 with support for jax-ws Annotations" web service and deploying in to web logic server 10.3.0.0. I am using Jdeveloper 11g for convert my java file to web service and deploying the same in to WLS directly from Jdev IDE.
Problem is, I cant able to see "Test Client" testPoint in order to test my webservice. When I access my web service via WLS admin console can able to see only "?WSDL" test point at TESTING tab and WSDL is accessible. But Test client is not getting generated.
Please help me, what am I missing here, why the WLServer not generating the test client. Am I missing any setting at server side. Please help me. Below is my web service code.

Edited by: Vit Vesely on Apr 20, 2010 12:10 PMHi guys,
The problem is finally resolved.
1. Implement SNOTE 1441463
2. Implement SNOTE 1443612
3. Register key for object /VIRSA/RE_OBJ_INFO
4. In SE03 >> Administration >> Set System Change Option. Change /VIRSA/ to modifiable
5. In Se11 open data type /VIRSA/RE_OBJ_INFO in change mode with the key from p. 3
6. Edit structure according to Note 1452772. Save and activate.
7. Implement SNOTE 1452772
8. Restart grc~reear (or the server)
...or wait for VIRSANH patch 12
Hopefully it will work for you aswell.
Kind Regards,
Vit -

For my information, where its said to do this? When installing a fresh install and all packages updated, the locale problem is there. Is this a bug or something what everyone supposed to know?
Why the default locale configure is not enough in /etc/rc.conf, why to bother about /etc/locale.gen?
rc.conf wrote:LOCALE="en_US.utf8"
EDIT:
I took a look at /etc/locale.gen. I don't know what to uncomment, its like reading a foreign language. -
Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
Hi, I'm pretty new to Linux and I could really use some help on this one! This is my second Arch install. After the first, which I installed to learn about Linux, I figured there'd be more user-friendly and complete distro's (like SUSE, Debian, etc.). I was wrong
Anyway, this is my second install, but ever since I installed it (and X11, ati-fglrx, gnome and gnome-extra) certain apps give my this error when run from a console. All of them start and work perfectly, except one: gnome-keyboard-properties. I fails to run and starts a bug buddy report window, while outputting the following messages on the console:
[***@*** ~]$ gnome-keyboard-properties
(gnome-keyboard-properties:4727): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
Using the fallback 'C' locale.
(gnome-keyboard-properties:4727): Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library

Using the fallback 'C' locale.
(gnome_segv2:4728): Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library
(bug-buddy:4729): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
Using the fallback 'C' locale.
(bug-buddy:4729): Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library
** (bug-buddy:4729): WARNING **: Couldn't load icon for Open Folder
Failed to read a valid object file image from memory.
I've generated the en_US.utf8 locale using locale-gen, edited rc.conf accordingly and I used the hwd-generated keyboard entry for xorg.conf that worked on my previous install.
I've been trying things with my xorg.conf. I used to leave XkbLayout and XkbVariant empty, like in the hwd-generated example, but now I'm using this:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Cherry"
Driver "keyboard"
Option "CoreKeyboard"
Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
Option "XkbLayout" "us"
Option "XkbVariant" "intl"
EndSection
This has a noticable effect: both ' and " require an extra spacebar hit. Pretty anoying, but this at least shows is had effect on gnome. Also, the Keyboard Indicator Applet shows the layout correctly.
I've tried other things, like uninstalling gnome and gnome-extra using pacman -Rnd as to leave no trace, and reïnstalling it. And I can't find anything on Google...
PS I'm running this on an athlon64 with a radeon x700, ftp-install from a 0.7.2 i686 base CD.I've done a total reïnstall - again. gnome-keyboard-properties works again! However, I still get these errors when opening Gtk-apps:
(gksu:4669): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
Using the fallback 'C' locale.
I've left xorg.conf's XkbLayout emply, which defaults to "us". There's a related option called "KEYMAP" in rc.conf, which has "us" as default, too. As I said, gnome-keyboard-properties now works and correctly displays "Generic 105-key.." etc. and "U.S. English".
I think I now have /etc/hosts' loopback correctly setup:
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain myhostname
192.168.x.xxx myhostname.localdomain myhostname
I'm really out of ideas here. Does anyone know whether this is normal or harmful?
[[ EDIT ]]
Solved. I actually forgot to generate the locales this time. I don't know what it was last time...

Reporting Services Point Role - Not installing
Hi,
I installed SCCM 2012 R2 and SQL Server Standard 2012 with Reporting Services. SCCM is running in secure (HTTPS) mode for both MP and DP. I have also configured SQL Reporting Services WEB URL for HTTPS (443)
Now I'm trying to install the Reporting Service Point Role but it wont install.
If I check Monitoring --> Reporting --> Reports its blank. Reporting Services on SQL Server is working properly.
I have the following errors reported
"Site Component Manager failed to configure site system "
Site Component Manager failed to configure site system
\\xxxx.xxx.xx to receive Configuration Manager Server Components.
Solution: Review the previous status messages to determine the exact reason for the failure. Site Component Manager cannot install any Configuration Manager Server Components on this site system until the site system is configured successfully. Site Component

Possible cause: The site system is not exporting the default drive letter shares, such as "\\xxxx.xxx.xx\C$", "\\xxxx.xxx.xx\D$",
and so on.
Solution: You might have disabled the default drive letter shares for security purposes. Configuration Manager requires these shares. Please re-enable these shares using the Windows Disk Administrator.
Possible cause: The site system is turned off, not connected to the network, or not functioning properly.
Solution: Verify that the site system is turned on, connected to the network, and functioning properly.
Possible cause: Site Component Manager does not have sufficient access rights to remotely administer the site system.
Solution: Verify that the accounts are properly configured to allow the site server to remotely administer the site system.
Possible cause: Network problems are preventing Site Component Manager from properly accessing the site system.
Solution: Investigate and correct any problems on your network."
I'm a bit perplexed because the admin shares can be accessed on the servers. Any help will be appreciated.
ThanksI'm also seeing these in SMS_HIERARCHY_MANAGER
Hierarchy Monitoring detected that the SQL Server xxxx.xxx.xx Service Broker certificate has missed or is expired, and failed to remediate with Error Failed to read SQL SSB certificate..
Any ideas why this is happening?
I ran this query and looks like the cert is fine

Why does it think my cert is near expired? -
Can Reader pick up the Default Page Size of a printer that is not the Windows Default Printer?
We have a web based application that generates PDF documents via Crystal Reports.
We are using Adobe Reader 8
The PDF pages are displayed within an Internet Explorer window where the the users then print the document.
The application is designed so the user only gets one chance to print the document (ie they cant come back and change printer settings if they happen to print the document out incorrectly)
The document needs to be printed on A3 paper, full duplex.
We have a printer set-up decidated to the printing of the documents generated by this application. The default page size of this printer is set of A3.
If we set this dedicated printer as the Windows Default Printer we have no problems at all. The default page size (A3) is picked up and the document is printed correctly.
If any other printer is set as the Windows Default Printer (eg one that has a default page size of A4), the users must obviously select the correct printer from the Print Dialogue Box -however when the user selects the dedicated A3 printer, the page size remains as A4 (page size of the Windows Default Printer). This means the user must remember to change the paper size to A3 each time.
Out users find IT a struggle at the best of times - anything that makes the process simpler is very welcomed!
Is there a way to ensure the default page size of the printer is respected when that printer is not the Windows Default Printer?
Thanks!No.

SachinWelcome to the forums !
This seems to be a known issue - pl see these MOS Docs
https://supporthtml.oracle.com/ep/faces/secure/km/BugDisplay.jspx?id=9772888&bugProductSource=Oracle
9772888.8 - Bug 9772888 - "WARNING:Could not lower the asynch I/O ... It is set to -1" messages
Seems to be fixed on 11.2.0.2 (or 10.2.0.5 patch 1 for Windows - see MOS Doc 342443.1 (10.2.0.x Oracle Database and Networking Patches for Microsoft Platforms))
Pl open an SR with Support to verify if this is a cause for concern, as it is not clear from these docs whether this causes any corruption
