what cause above messages in system log
One cause is Bug 4955208 in Oracle OEM monitoring product - version 10.2
Specifically it was "not skipping pseudo devices when the SW performed ioctl operations to evaluate device metrics"
There are patches for all affected versions of Oracle OEM, but probably only applies to Oracle OEM 10.2

after itunes finishes restoring my ipod touch 8gb, itunes still says itunes has detected an ipod touch recovery mode. You must restore it before using it with itunes. and i dont know what to do
Are you sure it is 1043? I've never seen that error before. But you can try disabling your security software, connecting the phone to a USB port directly on the computer (not a hub), and trying to restore again.

DVD Studio Pro must be serialized before using...?
I keep getting an error when I try encoding using QT and A.Pack. The error reads "DVD Studio Pro must be serialized before using A.Pack/QT." I have legit software and I've registered my software, but this error keeps popping up and it's a hassel when I need to rush on projects. I'm using compressor, but for certain projects I like to use QT for encoding...please help!!
MBHave you just opened DVD SP and re-entered the serial number?
If not then do so, if DVD SP isn't installed then install it, then open it and input the serial number, that's all it's asking for.
The Mpeg 2 encoder is part of the DVD SP's install and activated when DVD SP is launched and serialized. -

my iphone 4s has been randomly stopping and saying "iphon needs to cool down before you can use it" there is no water damage cause i just got it replaced, its been happening so frequently i ended up restoring it thinking it was an app overrunning or something but its still happening.. help!!!!1
I've had that happen once or twice in the summer while using the phone in the car for both navigation and streaming music (and it was on the seat in the sun). However, if you're having it happen regularly, you should take it back to the Apple Store.

Hi Experts,
I got an error while deleting a request from an ODS target. In breaf Let me explain..
Today one data load got failed. The data source 0CRM_SALES_CONT_I ( CRM Sales Contract : Item ) is updating data to 4 ( Four ) ODS targets.
So I forcefully made the request red to delete the request from the targets. But I unfortunately deleted another request without making it RED, I reconstructed it. Everything is looking fine.
But the thing is , when I tried to Delete the ERROR request from the other two related Data Targets ( 0CRM_CN2P and 0CRM_CNT1) , I fount these warnings..
--> Request 140522 already retrieved by Data Target BWPCLNT600
--> Delta update in Data Target BWPCLNT600 must be DEACT. before deleting the request.
--> Do you want to DEACTIVATE the Delta Update in the Data Target BWPCLNT600 ?
I clicked on YES.
I am having doubt, will it make any problem in future ? Or How Can I Resolve this problem ?

Documents must be saved before they can be merged - PS CS6
I'm getting a "Documents must be saved before they can be merged" error message while trying to auto stitch panos in PS CS6. As always, I've copied and imported images into LR5, then select images and "edit images in>PS CS6". From there go to Automate>Photomerge and "add open images", which produces the error message.
Until two days ago I've had no problems merging panos using this process. I had not made any changes to my system when this problem started occurring. Since then I have installed Mac and Adobe updates hoping to resolve the issue with no luck.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Must update firmware before installing OSX Tiger on OS9
I'm trying to bring an iMac G3 with OS9 to life. It's brand new, never been used before, and doesn't yet have internet. I will get internet (Airport Card) soon, but first have a software update problem.
After starting the iMac, I have inserted the install DVD for Tiger. The computer says it must restart to install, and when it restarts, the computer says it must update firmware before installing. I have to choose a system with which it will start up and my choices are:
OS9: Hard Drive
OSX: Install DVD
My 3rd option searches for a location, and ends up restarting in OS9.
Every option either results in the inevitable error message that the firmware needs updating or using the OS9 environment.
I read Apple support saying that firmware needs to be updated to fix this problem. Support suggests updating firmware from the OSX install DVD, but I haven't found such updates on the DVD, and need to overcome the firmware problem.
Please help, I am anxious to use my computer!

In order to install the firmware update, the machine must be booted to OS 9 on its internal hard drive. It's a good idea to have no external devices connected when you do it, other than the keyboard and mouse. If you can, print out the ReadMe that accompanies the update. -
The user's password must be changed before signing in
I have set up a new laptop with a new of users.
One of these attempted to access their account, and was asked to reset their password however this screen has got stuck. The password they enter is correct (we have tried it on a different machine) but we just get the screen 'The users password must be changed
before signing in'
Can't get back to the start screen, can't try and login as a different user, and when I force a restart then the screen just comes back, and when I've left the battery to run down also the same screen comes back.
When I can sometimes get the screen to go away then the screen is just blue (no markings of any kind, plain blue), and if I click or move mouse the login screen comes back.

Regarding current situation, let’s try following steps to check the issue:
Step 1: Power the system off, remove the USB plugs for both the mouse and keyboard and move them to different USB ports. Power the machine back on and wait 2-3 minutes to make sure Windows has detected and set up the devices again.
If step 1 doesn’t work, please try step 2:
Step 2: Basically windows 8.1 stopped all the USB ports from working. Go into BIOS, for USB configuration:
Changed it to Intel XHCI mode: Disabled
Legacy USB Support : Enabled.

An updated blackberry desktop software component must be insalled before you continue
i have downloaded blackberry software manager 7.1 and trying to update bold 9900. To start of with the software picks up the phone connected to it and then i get to the update bit on desktop manager fine, click update and get a message (An updated blackberry desktop software component must be insalled before you continue). This is where the problems start. downloading this does somthing and the desktop software doesnt recognise any blackberry device connected. its not damaged leads or ports, i have removed and re installed. i have run as administrator. i have tried everything, the only thing i can think of is if its a dodgy update by blackberry. hope someone has this problem and found the problem

when download component comple ?Uninstall the Desktop Sofware and Downlod it again. Install it, when greeted by the setup screen make sure to uncheck the automatic update option. Go ahead and try it again. Good luck!

You must register your tables using JDDI before you request them
Hey Guys....
I'm trying to query a custom table created on a SQL Server 2005 database, the same RDBMS for the SAP Web AS. I'm using a different database from the sytem's standard.
I created a Datasource for it. I can get the connection, but when I execute a query I get the following message.
Please note that I used everything SAP recommends for JDBC connector. I have done this previously for an oracle database but this time this approach (MS SQL) is not working...
I don't understand what it means for registering the tables using JDDI.
Could you please show me some light?

On 10.4.11 iMac Mac Mail I get this message: "Mail cannot update your mailboxes because your home directory is full. You must free up space in your home folder before using Mail. Delete unneeded documents or move documents to another volume." I can't open mail to do this. I have reinstalled software but no effect. How do I get into Mail to delete?
Found this on the "more like this" Worked like a charm!
With the Mail.app quit and using the Finder, go to Home > Library > Mail. Copy the Mail folder and place the copy on the Desktop for backup purposes.
Go to Home > Library > Mail > Envelope Index. Move the Envelope Index file to the Desktop.
Launch Mail and you will be prompted to import mailboxes. Select OK and allow the import process to complete.
After confirming all mailboxes were successfully imported and available, you can delete the copy of the Mail folder and old Envelope Index file from the Desktop and this should resolve the problem. -

Updated security 002, now computer is freezing up
This morning I downloaded the security update 2004-002 for OS X. I repaired permissions both before and after the download. I left the computer for a bit and when I came back I could not access the desktop in any way. I had to force quit and restart.
