WARNING! The Daily subscription limits you to one iPad device only!?!

I have been seeking clarification on this point since purchasing the year subscription. My iTunes account is shared among three iPads, two that I own, and my mom's. I assumed that like other apps, the subscription model for the Daily would mean that once I subscribe, it is available for all three of my iPads.
This does not appear to be the case! So The Daily and Apple expect me to pay for a full year subscription on only one device. I buy multiple iPads so I do not have to share the devices. I should be able to enjoy the same subscription on more than one device. If The Daily wants to put a cap on it, like no more than two iPads, I would be ok. But only one iPad?!? Most people are going to have two anyway when the iPad 2 comes out. Imagine having to buy apps and subscriptions all over again for another device. That is total BS.

Wow, I so appreciate your sarcasm. I will hold to my opinion that it is unfair to compare print media, with its fixed production and delivery costs, to digital media distribution. I saw my subscription commitment to The Daily as more or renting an app. If I bought this app, I would expect the right to download it for multiple devices that I own. If I bought a print magazine, of course I would expect only one copy. But then again, a print magazine is much easier to share with family members than a personalized item like the iPad. I have stuff on mind that is eyes only, and I would feel uncomfortable sharing it with others.
I don't see how it would hurt to allow a small number of shared devices. Just wait till the iPad 2 comes out. A LOT of people are going to be harping about this. Just imagine, a household of 4, each wanting to subscribe to the Daily, would cost $160 a year. Otherwise, Dad or mom or son or daughter would have to designate one iPad for subscription purchases, and everyone would share that device? I thought the iPad was made for the digital lifestyle!
If this is the case, I will stick to websites and webapps where ALL could access the info with the same app, on the same iTunes account.
WOW. I thought I was going to find some common ground here, really appalled and offended by that last SNIDE comment. Uncalled for and I will leave it at that.

If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address set up then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within, I think, about 24 to 48 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox)

When will the youtube subscription limitation be fixed?

I have submited about this before, called support, taken my apple tv into an apple store.
I have heard the same story for months and months now...   "It's currently being looked at and will be fixed on the next software update"
That was quite a few software updates ago.
My Apple TV is still limited to only 25 youtube subscriptions as I know I'm not the only one with this issue, it clearly is something that needs to be addressed.
I know apple has little financial interest in fixing youtube on the apple tv, but based on the fact this was a major reason I bought the apple tv, I'm quite disappointed that something as simple as this has not be addressed.
It really is making me rethink bring any more apple products in my home, as this was my first apple experience, and to be frank, so far I'm not impressed in the least.
This is a documented issue so I've been told, and only requires a simple software update.

in addition to poor open GL performance, i've also had problems with any program utilizing antialiasing support. i recently sat down and called apple and had a discussion with their support line. while i didn't mention the poor open GL performance, i did mention the graphical errors i was experiencing with my MBP. i was told these issues are not normal, and have a replacment on the way. while these issues are some what numerous, i've not been able to find much more than a few articles or discussions on the topic. i'm hoping this means it is contained to a few MBPs and not all. we'll see when the replacment comes. if not, however, i'd consider a class action suit. the machine i bought was sold as a portable gaming machine, (apple.com/games/hardware) and thats not what i've gotten. i am very disappointed that apple has not even acknowledged the issue to let us know some fix is in the works. if enough of us make a big enough noise about it, perhaps we can get some sort of reply. i'd recommend you sending a note to apple as mentioned, then take some time to sit and give apple a call. they are very interested in listening to you, don't feel silly about calling about game perfromance, they are advertising these machines as such.

I understand that you are refering to the special price offers for Adobe CC, you can check all the relevant dates in http://www.adobe.com/products/discount-software-coupons.html
In some offers of the Creative Cloud for Team, the second year price is locked that means that the renewal price will be same.
In otherspecial offers the renewal price has not been mentioned as of yet .

Can I put the same app on more than one iPad?

I'm not sure I can even do this or how if I can.
Situation is I got a New iPad and my wife 'inherited' my iPad2. We use ONE Apple iTunes account. I've dup'ed the iPad2 over to the New iPad. We use two computers and each has iTunes on it. No problems at this point.
Now I added an app to my iPad, and my wife wants it. She went to the app store and it shows as 'already installed'. Again, we're both using the same account (I don't want 2). Looked at Previous Purchases, same thing, already installed, grayed out.
So the question is can I do what I want, that is install the same app on 2 iPads? If so, how?

Sure - as long as you use the same apple ID on both devices you can download it to both devices. Why is is greyed out on her iPad is not clear to me - other than the app is actually on her iPad via Automatic Downloads and she doesn't realize that its on the device. Is that possible?
Search for the app on her iPad- swipe to the right from the first home screen and type in the name of the App at the top in the search field. Does it show up?

From Song View, select all of the tracks, then hit Ctrl-I (Get Info). On the "Options" tab, change "Part of a compilation" to "Yes". Click "OK" to save.
For individual tracks, there is also a compilation checkbox at the bottom right of the Get Info "Info" tab.

HT201272 I downloaded Prep & Pantry Lite (free), then decided I wanted the full version ($4.99), downloaded to iPad but only able to get lite version on computer. Yes, read support page.

Followed the directions on the support page: at itunes store, logged into my account, clicked on "Purchased", clicked on icon next to "Prep & Pantry", it only down loaded the "lite" version. No full version noted anywhere under "Purchased", although my account does show I paid for the full version. Full version IS on my iPad but did not transfer during syncing either. I sync with my a laptop that has windows xp (older laptop, will not support windows 7). Any suggestions?

The PC does support 4Gb of ram, although it's the max it supports, it does support it. I have read quite a bit about other people having this issue with other systems and I've gone all through my bios looking for SOME sort of option that I can at least play around with, but there's nothing there. I've also upgraded the bios thinking that "maybe" it could be something with that. The video card I'm using is a Nvidia Quadro NVS 420 512 Mb. I've tried disabling IndirectMemoryAccess in my xorg.conf thinking that might be messing with it somehow, but it did nothing. I just tried removing the video card altogether and running w/ the onboard video and alas! I recovered 512Mb, which I would be pleased with, but when I add the card back, the available ram disappears again. So now my question is this... Why would the kernel be reserving 512Mb of system ram for a card that has 512Mb of ram built in (at the same time not visibly acknowledging the fact that it exists)? Is this maybe a kernel option that I can pass at boot to disable it from reserving the system ram?
I'm sorry about the lack of the bbcode tags btw, I'm a first timer to the forums (however an arch user for some time now).
