Safari won't open the time warner cable server
safari won't open the time warner cable server, I'm trying to watch amc shows through the website, and it asks you to pick a server to login to. I chose my time warner cable server and it won't connect. ATandT works, but mine won't. I've tried restarting and downloading newer versions but it is still not working.
Don’t worry about it.
I’m going to cancel the subscription.
I maged to download it and install it, but it’s constantly damaged and won’t open.
I may as well just forget it and cancel.

Programatically access Unity server messages [unity 7x]
Hi,
Using Curl is it posible to access the inbox data from the unity server or using some Soap API's
or is there any direct access to the database of the unity server ?
I am using the version 7.1.2.20000 .
Please help me on this.
thanks/ChandarYou can easily get the number of subscribers (users with voice mail boxes stored in Exchange or Domino) out of the Unity database -
a couple of examples on the old samples page referenced above have that - connect to the UnityDirDB and get a count of users in the vw_Subscriber view that have a subscriber type of 1 or 3 (Exchange or Domino respectively). Other subscriber types are remote users that don't have mailstores attached to Unity (i.e. SMTP/VPIM/Bridge/AMIS users).
To get at the mailstore, as noted, you have to go through whatever storage Unity is attached to (Exchange 55/2000/2003/Domino). With Exchange the most common method is IMAP - Unity uses MAPI for access to additional properties not offered via IMAP but for your purposes either would work. Exchange does have the concept of a super user account (an account with rights to the mailstore) - There are numerous articles and samples on the web talking about how to get information from Exchange mailstores - the vw_Subscriber view noted above includes the SMTP address and DirctoryID (GUID pointing to the user's AD record) - everything you need for mailbox identification.
Short version is you wont get things like message count (read/unread/deleted/total size etc...) from the Unity database in SQL - we don't keep that kind of information around. All that's kept in SQL is that the user has at least one unread voice mail message or not (their MWI is on or off accordingly - a flag is kept for this in the DB) - but for more detailed mailbox info you'll have to go directly to the store.

Unity Server Update Wizard v.3.0(22) or v.3.0(20)
I would like to find out what updates are contained within the following:
Unity Server Update Wizard version 3.0(20)
Unity Server Update Wizard version 3.0(22)
Both have the same release date of Dec. 30th, 2011.
I have checked the http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/updates/wizard/2011cuupwz.html link, but it hasn't been updated since September. Thanks for your response. I guess in my heart of hearts, I'd convinced myself that the Unity SUW was the way to go but with Microsoft issuing "out of band” critical updates (the latest one is for IE if memory serves), it was useful to see what others are doing.
I'll follow your advice and stick with Cisco
Best regards

I’m starting to work in Premiere with a PC. We have been traditionally an avid house. I’m new at this location and have a FCP base and find the Adobe edit process more familiar.
Our server is an Avid Unity system. The Unity Server is a fiber optic process with a sign-in requirement. I can import and edit from the unity server. I can’t see the server in the Media Browser to find shots. So it is a little odd that I can work with the server but not use this one feature.
I also could not import a AAF project from avid. Premiere would crash everytime.
Thanks,
JimBug Report and Feature Request https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
Also... as far as I know from other discussions... Premiere is not designed to work with network files, so you will need to manually copy the files from the network server to a local hard drive for editing, then copy back to the server -
L-UNITY7-UWLA-PAK is it for UNITY server or for a voice gateway
I need clarification on the following license product :
L-UNITY7-UWLA-PAK, do I load
the license on the gateway or on unity server
, because when I
registed the product authorization key on cisco webside they asked for the unity servers mac address but in the e-mail they sent with the instruction on how to load the license they talk about the router or the gatewayI know what you are referring to and that is simply a generic email body that is not specific to individual applications. Rob is correct, the license will be loaded on the Unity server. On Unity, you use the License File Wizard found in Unity Tools Depot to upload licenses to the PRIMARY Unity server (I note Primary in case you have a Unity Failover deployment).

Mail Client on Laptop is Windows Live Mail. Mail server outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net. DSL Internet. Long time Verizon customer. Client configuration settings correct according to Verizon. I now get an Interenet Security Warning message whenever I start up the Live Mail Client and send an e-mail. Only happens on sending e-mails. The warning message comes back looking for a YES or NO answer. The message is
"The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified."
"A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trused by the trust provider."
"Do you want to continue using the server?" "YES or NO"
I click YES in order to successfully send e-mail messages which I do not like to do. I only have to press YES on the first e-mail message that I send. The rest outgoing e-mail work correctly after that first one.
What has Verizonn done to cause the problem on my client software? I have done nothing to change configurations on my Windows 7 and Windos Live Mail laptop. I have done some research, and verified that my computer time and time zone is correct. I am looking for an explanation on why this is happening from Verizon.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!If no one has a better idea you may want to unlink Yahoo from VZ. http://forums.verizon.com/t5/Verizon-net-Email/Unlinking-Verizon-email-from-Yahoo-portal/td-p/413475 It is possible to lose data as pointed out in the linked thread.
OR Did you get any indication that your mail server settings were going to change at the end of Sept 2013? A mass email went out for "standard" verizon users earlier this year. I am not sure if this effects Yahoo/VZ settings.
If a forum member gives an answer you like, please give them the Kudos they deserve. If a member gives you the answer to your question, mark the answer as Accepted Solution so others can see the solution to the problem. Thanks !!!

Windows patches install on unity server 5.0
How do you install window patches on unity servers
Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPad AppHi Kirk
Cisco release patches for Unity as follows:
1) Windows Patches - go to cisco.com/go/software and search for Unity 5.0. In that section you'll see Microsoft Updates for Unity. There's a single .exe you can download that is released regularly that contains all the supported service packs, patches, and so on for Unity. Run it on the server console or via VNC to install it (a simple next/next/finish wizard), but remember to disable Cisco Security Agent if you run it before installing.
2) Unity patches are available but generally I wouldn't bother for a production system unless you are changing something in the environment already e.g. moving to a new Exchange version...

Cisco Unity 8 problem: Partner Mail Server Offline
We are changing Unity 8 partner from exchange 2007 to exchange 2010. We installed the ES10, uninstalled exchange software, ran the server update wizard, installed the latest version of ExchangeMapiCdo.exe, ran permissions wizard, created mailbox for UnityMsgStoreSvc, created the throttling policy and then ran the message store wizard.
The exchange 2010 server version is SP1 with rollup 6.
The problem is that the unity is returning Information Store on the Partner mail server is offline. Two events are reported in the event viewer of the unity server:
•1) Event ID 110: The Unity Message Repository cannot communicate with the Partner Mail Server to deliver messages. Messages will be held in the temporary store until the mail server is available.
•2) Event ID 1017: The Information Store for the Unity System Mailbox on the Partner Exchange Server is offline during ExchangeMonitor Startup. All message notification processing is disabled until this has been resolved. When the Exchange Monitor detects that this server is back online, registration for notifications will proceed.
Now I set to 1 the registry key HKLM > Software > Active Voice > AvWm > 1.00 > Disable Server Status Check (DWORD) to disable the server ping check and to make AvWm assume that all Exchange servers are up all the time. Other events appeared in the event viewer including event ID 137 described as follows: Attempts to deliver Unity Message Repository messages have failed due to Unity configuration or connectivity issues with the Partner Mail Server. AvUMRSyncSvr will suspend message delivery for 300 seconds, after which message delivery will be attempted again. During this outage, messages may accumulate in the temporary store. 0x00002580
When I reset the same registry key to 0 I get warning events ID 1004 telling that each exchange server in my organization is offline. I also used the RPCtest.exe utility and it’s returning that the partner server and every other exchange server are online.
Does anyone have any idea how we can solve this problem ?Couple of questions:
1. Did you follow the integration guide for this integration? The required tasks are outlined here: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/7x/using_exch2010/usingex2010withcu7x5x.html#wp46611
If you have not already done so, you'll need to make sure you cover all of the bases in the integration guide.
2. If you are migrating from 2007 to 2010 then you should have already had a mailbox for the message store service. Did you move the existing mailbox over to 2010 as noted in the integration guide? I ask because you state that you "created" a mailbox in your original post so it is not clear.

Rebuilding Unity Primary server
We have a unity primary and failover server and we need to rebuild both. In the instructions it states if you rebuild the Primary first by failing over and making the failover server the primary you will need to do a dirt restore to the newly configured box prior to running failover config. Can someone please expalin why you would need to restore data to the newly rebuilt server prior to running the failover wizard. I would think that you keep the newly rebuilt server with a clean database and run the failover wizard on both the primary and the failover and it synchs the database with the newly rebuilt server.
Here is the information for DiRT as per http://www.ciscounitytools.com/Applications/Unity/DIRT/Help/index.html
"When restoring a backup intended to work as a failover system, be sure to restore the DiRT backup to a stand alone server first, make sure it's running properly then run the failover configuration wizard on that server. You cannot restore a DiRT backup onto either a primary or secondary failover pair, it will not work properly. If you have two Unity servers configured for fail over it's best to backup the Unity server configured as the fail over server, not the primary if possible. The primary Unity server will have additional links in SQL setup for replicating to the fail over server database and these links will be broken when you restore to a new server. If you then try to reconfigure fail over capabilities on that server it will fail. There’s no way to automatically remove these flags from the backed up database so if you have backed up the primary Unity server you will need to manually clean up the SQL properties after restore. The DiRT restore notices the fact that the restored database has these links and will pop up a warning dialog at the end of the restore reminding you of these."

Enabling Cross-Server Live Reply and Entering the Pilot Numbers of Destination Cisco Unity Servers
Do the following procedure on each Cisco Unity server in the dialing domain. If the system is using failover, do the following procedure on both the primary and secondary server, because most of the settings on the Network > Dialing Domain Options page are stored in the registry. (Registry settings are not replicated to the secondary server.)
To Enable Cross-Server Live Reply and to Enter the Pilot Numbers of Destination Cisco Unity Servers
You might just verify this has been done on the Secondary also.
Thanks,
Scott
