Warning when moving allocated stock to blocked stock

Dear all.
we are facing a problem with our quality / mm flow. We have materials that while in stock need regular quality inspections (every 72 hours) .
Batch is inspected and passed inspection and allocated to a sales order / delivery but will only be shipped in a few days. Then the batch is inspected again and does not pass inspection. The inspection people move the material from unresticted to blocked status.
However the delivery is goods issued and send to the customer because the quality inspection people don't get a warning that the batch is already allocated to a sales order when they do the goods movement into blocked stock.
Anybody has a sollution?

thanks for the info. However if I understand correctly this means that every batch needs quality inspection before PGI and that is not the case.
Every 72 hours the batch will be quality inspected. In most cases the delivery and the PGI will take place within the first 72 hours. However in some exeptional cases the inspection will take place between Del note creation and PGI (not on purpose, just the 72 hour boundry, the quality inspection people are not aware of the delivery)
At that time the batch is already allocated to a delivery yet during the quality inspection the batch fails the qualifications and will moved to blocked stock.
The people who move the batch into blocked stock need the warning that this batch has been allocated to a delivery so that it can be stopped before the trucks leave our property.

I still have some confuse with the concept and use of GR-blocked stock and blocked stock.
As far as I know, GR-blocked stock is usually triggered at the point of goods receipt with ref to PO. If the goods are not satisfy with the requirement, then post the goods to GR-blocked stock via 103.
However, under what circumstances we need to post the goods to blocked stock?

Good receipts is done in Unrestricted stock (or) Qualtiy Stock (or) BLOCKED stock
Movement type - 101 Unrestricted stock (or) Quality Stock
what circumstances we need to post the goods to blocked stock?
during inwarding if you found that the lot will having problem where the value is more and qty is more
you will inward in Blocked stock
Movement type -- 103 - For blocked stock in this you are moving to block stock if you see the P.O history of the p.o. there will be qty updation and value updation is not there
when u move from block stock to unrestricted stock using movement type 105
stock will be getting updated and valu also

Material can flow directly from goods receipt into consumption/usage or into the warehouse. However, It may also be placed into a blocked stock area first.
Using the stock type, you can post the material into quality inspection stock or into blocked stock. In both cases, the material is already managed in the stock. Alternatively, the material can be conditionally accepted. Conditionally accepted deliveries for a purchase order are recorded in goods receipt blocked stock (GR blocked stock).
The quantity posted into goods receipt blocked stock is not added to the inventory or managed as part of the inventory. It is only recorded in the purchase order history.
You would use goods receipt blocked stock, for example, if the vendor's certificate for the delivered quantity were missing, or if you wanted to inspect a small quantity of the material before posting the actual goods receipt.
When the conditions for acceptance are met, the material can be accepted into stock (for example, into unrestricted-use stock). The goods receipt is not valuated until this point.
If the goods are to be returned to the vendor, instead, they can be taken directly from goods receipt blocked stock. Note, however, that a return delivery is possible even if the material was already posted into stock
Blocked Stock is Valuated Stock. it is blocked for Certain reason.
Blocked stock (not usually available from an MRP perspective and no withdrawals are possible for consumption)
From blocked stock, you can withdraw only one sample, scrap a quantity, or post an inventory difference.
If you want to withdraw goods from blocked stock for consumption, you first have to carry out a transfer posting to unrestricted-use stock.

first a mvt 414 to move the stock from sales order stock to storage location, then a 344 to move it from unrestricted to blocked.

GR blocked Stock and Blocked Stock

Dear Experts,
In standard way in T.code MMBE which stock in Gr blocked and Blocked stock how can I see this stock document no. ( 103 and quality 321 etc. ) in which document no they come in same stock.

For your require ment go to the T.Code MB51 and give the Mov type , you get the documents relataed to as per Mov no.
In MMBe itself the option is there for GR blocked stock and blocked stock.

GR BLOCKED STOCK:
1.     The material document is generated.
2.     As the GR blocked stock is non-valuated stock, the no accounting document is generated.
3.     The PO history gets updated and the open PO quantity is not reduced as a result.
Can display GR blocked stock at:
1.     Stock overview(At plant level)
2.     PO history
BLOCKED STOCK: Its not available for MRP and Consumption..cancheck it in MMBE...

QM_move stock to block stock through Q2 notification type

Dear QM Experts,
u2022 I am creating quality notification type Q2 through QM01
u2022 After doing necessary defect entry I want to post the defective material to block stock.
u2022 For this I am using action box transfer posting unrestricted to block.
u2022 By doing this material can be transferred to block stock of the same storage location
Requirements,
u2022 Is it possible to move the material to block stock of another storage location?
u2022 Whether 311 movement can happen through this action box so as to transfer the material from unrestricted to unrestricted of another storage location?
u2022 What type of setting needs to be done to achieve this effect?

In notification action box you have the option of transferring the material from unrestricted to block. In that you have the option inputting the storage location to which you want to transfer

- As said this can be done through a development or other option is that you can choose the same action box( Transfer unrestricted to block ) and change the movement type to 311. It will allow to move material from one storage location to another
another solution is that you can use tak with followupaction as Goods movements. its available in the standard. when u save the notification it will take you to transfer posting but wherein you will have to key in all the details

Stock without Blocked Stock

Is there any report in which we can get the total stock as on date which will not include the blocked stock qty.

something like "MB5B ignoring blocked stock" is not available.
if you need to know the quantity at a day in the past without consideration of blocked stock, then you have to develope a report like MB5B yourself.
or you do it the easy way: just execute MB52 as background job and save the spool files.
or create a small ABAP to write the stock dayly from MARD(and some other tables) to a Z- table

Nullify the stock from Blocked Stock.

I want to nullify the stock for a materials which is lying in blocked stock. The base unit of measurement for that material lying in blocked stock is 0 Ea but the parallel unit of measurement is 3.16 KG.
Please guide how to nullify the stock for parallel unit of measurement of the material.

Please check the below things.
1. Check the material master whetner a conversion is maintained for EA and KG.
2. You can try post the MI10 document for the blocked stock in the parallel unit.
3.Or you can transfer post to the unrestricted and post a MI10 document or a scrap moment.
4. with all the above trials if you find the error message no stock is available , then we can say that stock inconsistancy is there.
5.Then check MM03 stock MMBE stock and MC.9 stock , if there is a variation then it is a inconsistancy.
6.Check MB5b FOR the wrong posting.
If there is a inconsistancy in the tables stock raise a OSS message or apply a sap note.

Return consignment stock to blocked stock

Hi All,
I want to be able to return consignment stock through sd (pick up)directly to blocked stock .
Movement type 632 is now used to transfer consignment stock to own unrestricted.
What can i do ? is it possible to put material in block stock with movement type 632
In MM02, I enter the material code for which I am creating consignment pick up and selected "Quality Management" view. & assign inspection type 06- Inspection for Returns from Customer
& marked post to insp stock.

For your consignment pick up schedule line category F0 or F1 the standard movement type is 632
only
You are not adviced to tamper the standard settings
With 632 movement type stocks will be in own unrestricted
You can move them to QI inspection in t code MB1B with movement type 322 which should be he correct process
Option 2
But if the business demands then in your schedule line category F0 or F1 change the movement type to either
655---goes to QI inspection straight away (you can move them back to unrestricted t code MB1B with movement type 321)
or
657----blocked stocks (you can move them back to unrestricted t code MB1B with movement type 343)
But avoid option 2

when moving from master block to detail block it must save record or it will give message like 'save changes '....
when i write it ,but this message will be coming.
But if i save record message will appear two times.

you could ask for Form_Success when moving to detail_block (in wehn-new-block-instance i.e.) and if not form_success you could show an alert to ask for commit changes...

After MIGO mvt 101, moving stock to blocked.

after posting a good receipt with MIGO (mvt type 101) I want to move this stock into blocked stocked
using the material document of the goods receipt.
How can I do this?
I tried with MIGO selecting transfer postings, material document and indicating the material document
of the goods receipt but system can't allow this:
Diagnosis
You want to post a goods receipt, goods issue, or transfer posting with
    a material document as a reference. The document entered does not
    correspond with the prerequisites in order to be used as a reference
    using this functionality.
System response
The prerequisite of this functionality is that there is a material
    document without a reference, in other words, the document posted at the
    time must have been an 'Other' goods receipt/goods issue or an 'Other'
    transfer posting, according to the selection.
If, for example, you want to post a goods receipt, you cannot use a
    transfer posting document as a reference.
Procedure
Choose a document suitable for the selected activity.

Hi,
If you want to post to Blocked stock, do it while you are taking the GR - 101 -blocked stock. When it clears the inspection then you can transfer that to unresricted stock.
But here remember, you can not transfer with ref. to material document. Input the material and Quantity.......
You can also explore the functionality of 103 nad 105. Posting to Gr-Blocked Stock and releaseing from GR-Blocked stock. Here you can transfer with ref. to material document. Most of the companies use this functionality, in case material needs intial or visual inspection.

Blocked stock movement through Notification

Hello QM gurus
My client requirement is as below.
When material is in blocked stock & it need to move to unrestricted QM user will raise a notification assign a task that material need to moved to Unrestricted from blocked stock.then intimation or Mail should be trigger to FICO person that QC has approved to move the material to UNR from blocked stock & FI person need to create debit note.So FI person will create DEBIT note & then he will enter a Task & some long text in notification.Then He saves the notifiaction.After saving notification material should automatically moved to Unrestricted status i.e. movement 344 should happened in background.
Is there any function module availabe?and how to mapped this scenario in SAP?

here u may require the help of an Workflow consultant for msg trigerring, rest of the problem easily solved through inspection lot an dnotif.

T code QA11, quantity can not be posted to blocked stock

For Inspection lot with system status is INSP RREC SPRQ, when user tries to perform QA 11 to post stock to blocked stock the system does not allow as "to blocked stock field" is greyed out and also can not chnage the storage location on that screen.
I have checked the material already exists in the WH/storage location also inspection charachterstics are corrct not sure what else to check.please advise.

Does not seem like authorisation restriction since user is able to process other QA11 for the same plant/WH and storage location. Does not seem like customisation either since all " Quantity to be posted "options and storage location are greyed out under inspection lot stock Tab
After Accept atleast system should allow posting to "unrestricted stock " but thats not available either.
For the same material/plant/WH, I am able to sucessfully post stock when system status is -REL CALC SPRQ but in this case the status is -INSP RREC SPRQ, what does this signify.Please help
