If you are dealing with an unpaid L&I Bill

I'm not sure this will help many, but I remember looking around this forum for related topics and couldn't find any, so I'll put this here on the off chance someone ends up in the same boat. *I am not an lawyer, I have no legal education whatsoever, this is all purely based on my experience in WA state* First and foremost, it's never too late to send a bill to L&I. If a claim was ever opened and any part of it was accepted by L&I, then it doesn't matter if it's 2 years later and the bill is sitting with a CA or whatever, the bill can be sent to L&I by the OC, it *should* be sent to L&I if it was for the injury that the claim was opened for. If the OC tries to give you a hard time, understand that it's because they are afraid they will not get paid. It is the OCs responsibility to bill L&I in a timely manner and if they do not, L&I can deny payment, and you as the patient are not responsible for their untimeliness. So of course they might try to get out of sending the bill to L&I and instead get you to pay... don't let them do that. If you are being sued over a bill that should have been paid by L&I, this is your defense, DO ANSWER, don't ignore it. Immediately contact the OC and inform them that the bill is related to an L&I claim and that it needs to be sent to them, give them all info you have on the claim to make this easier, this should stop any collection attempts by a CA. Once the bill gets to L&I, it's just a matter of waiting for them to finish the review and decide. Last is just perseverance, these processes take time, but just keep with it.

I think that's just SOP for tech support everywhere. And considering BC's business model is "fire your coders and do it yourself," I wouldn't assume that on average people reporting cases have any great technical acumen, and I wouldn't expect support to do the same.

I believe its a huge waste of everyones time when the first suggestions is "flush your cache", or try a different browser... really? you don't think we;ve tried that all before actually submitting a case? web developers know what a cache issue is, they know what a server error looks like, and by using firebug all before they finally submit a case, we expect more than, works on our side, or try a different browser. save that for the non web developer tech support cases.
just my two cents, I love the creative suite of products, but going back to DW MYSQL ftp and a good old LAMP server environment from hostgator is looking better and better everyday if this is going to be how bc partners are going to be treated. whether we have ten, or a hundred sites, a bc partner is usually a web developer and should receive the same level of support. I have most of my clients off bc, as they were clients before i became a partner. My plan was to migrate them over to bc eventually, but i am having second thoughts these days.

Adobe encore the software that's used to decode the media is not available on this system. installing the correct decoders for the file you are working with may help correct the problem

I got this message after importing about ten or so H.264 files that I encoded from Adobe media encoder. "adobe encore the software that's used to decode the media is not available on this system. installing the correct decoders for the file you are working with may help correct the problem."
The files we're shot with HD cameras. Edited in Premiere Pro CS3. I installed the update 3.0.1 with still the same error.
I also tried a brand new project and after about ten or so files being imported into a timeline, the system crash. I tried this twice....

       Here is the skinny. A window base PC. footage shot with HD sony HD cameras, Project imported to Premiere CS3. Once completed sent file to Adobe media encoder and render them as H.264 widescreen high Quality. Imported them to Adobe Encore CS3. After about ten files or so. I got the error message. Did all the basic trouble shoot like restarting the computer, got latest patch. Even build a new test project with the same problem.
    Something else I read in the forums, is the encore will transcoded the project to Mpeg 2 anyway, after looking at my project I realized those few files were indeed untranscoded. So it will be a double compression and I dont want that. So, my new question is, what is H.264 good for ?????????? I was research that Mpeg 2 is a faster render but H.264 is a slower render but better quality.....
   what do you think ????

I'm assuming you mean can you access the purchased songs from another apple id. No you cannot. You will need to download these on another computer and then transfer the hard files into your itunes library that you are using icloud with and let icloud match them.
You cannot access two different id's from one match account. Also, if you sign out of the match account that you are signed into to another to download purchases you will not be able to sign back into your match account for three months. So do not do this either. Just use a friends computer or another way.

Our experience is a little different, we have different iTunes accounts for different family members, each family member has their own iTunes library on their own mac, each mac uses my Apple ID for homesharing and we are able to play purchased content from each library on the Apple TV.

If it says you are synced with another computer, you are synced with another computer. The only alternative is you have wiped and reloaded the computer that you normally sync with, essentially making it a new computer.

Im doing a drumming music video and with the multi cam clip all the angles are nicely sync'd top the audio.
Problem is if i want to have 3 angles on top of the main shot, im gonna have to re-sync them all to get them to line up manually. If i could use the multi cam clip they will already be aligned

It was totally separate. I just now went back to a previous email from Apple to that secondary address which urged me to transition to iCloud. I followed the link and it prompted me thru the process and the address is now able to send/receive emails. Thanks.

i was trying to restore my itouch because it showed on my itouch the itunes bar on top and the charger on bottom so i went on itunes and when i pressed "restore" and then pressed "restore and update", another sign popped up saying "The ipod "ipod" could not be restored. The disk you are attempting is full. Removing files and empty the recycle bin will free up additional space. What do I do?!?!?! please help me ASAP

I did disable the security (AVG and Zone Alarm) when I tried on my own PC. My wife's laptop which eventually got it working also uses AVG and Zone Alarm but on an XP O/S whereas my PC is Vista - maybe this is why.
