Warrants Expirate Date is Wrong

A pop-up offered the choice to check warranty status.  I selected "yes".  When it ran, it came up with a new pop-up in the bottom right hand corner that said in the light green title bar "HP Warranty Status: Printer".  Below that, the next two lines were "HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - n911a" and "Your HP warranty expired on 5/17/2014".  We had just bought back in September or October of last year.  It seems as if you are already trying to push your extended warranty on us before an entire year has passed.
Is this no longer under manufacturer's warranty?  How can I make sure the warranty information is changed on you end in the case that we have some problems before then?

The warranty provided for your product is 1 year warranty from the date of purchase, the warranty originally based on the product manufacture date however it can be updated by providing the proof of purchase.

    Sounds like a hardware failure.
    Make an appointment at the genius bar and take it in for them to look at. It will probably need to be replaced.

    You receive information on all requests that have run in the InfoCube and you can delete requests if required.

    Request ID you can find in administration of the InfoCube. If a cubes is compressed you can't delete requestwise...

    That doesn't help me. For itunes it brings me to the express lane which doesn't help because my case is not in it. It's all standard procedure things. I understand those but my situation is different. The combination of a passport forgotten and an non-existing email adress (and birth dates that are not correct or not accepted). What I need is my password emailed to another email adress than the original one because that no longer exists.

    Ein Versuch, die Pipe /usr/omni/tmp/SDB.BACKDP-Data[1].1 manuell auf dem MaxDB-Server anzulegen, schlug ebenso fehl. Eine Pipe /usr/omni/tmp/SDB.BACKDP-Data kann angelegt werden.
    Frage 1) Hat jemand ein ähnliches Problem und dazu eine Lösung?
    Frage 2) Wo ist hinterlegt, welchen Medium-Name der Data Protector beim command "medium_put" verwenden soll?

    Hi Marcus,
    we use the version 5.5.
    The pipe name is generated by the Data Protector. When I want to create manually a pipe with this name I got the message "No hit found".
    Do you know a  possibilty where we can configure (at Data Protector or MaxDB) which medium name should be used for creating the pipe?

  • Camera date was wrong when I shot the pictures, so it inputted wrong in iPhoto - help me fix it?

    Okay, first the basics: I'm using iPhoto '08 (version 7.1.5) - I know it's old as time but I'm always meaning to switch to Aperture so I keep not getting around to an upgrade My camera is a Nikon D5000.
    Second, the problem: earlier this year I took my camera in for service. Since when I got it back (months later) it still had the same problem I'd handed it in for (and that had been the second time already), I had to get lawyers involved and all kinds of similar unpleasantness, so by the time they returned it supposedly fixed for good, I felt weary/disappointed enough by the entire experience that I just wanted to put it all behind me and start using the camera again. Except that as it turns out, the service center had left me with a nasty, sneaky little parting gift: they'd changed the date of the unit to about two years ago! (or maybe just failed to change it back if they reset the system or whatever).
    Still unaware of this problem, and with no reason to suspect anything hinky since nothing like that'd ever happened before (not just with the Nikon's previous service session, but really with any service job on any device), I imported the shots to iPhoto.
    Except when I went to look at them in my Events tab, they weren't at the bottom like I expected them to be! After a good deal of panicked searching, manually, through several thousand images (made even more stressful by the fact I'd already hit Delete Originals in complete confidence) I finally found them logged as having been taken in March and April of 2009 (instead of August-Sept '11). That's a huge problem for me, because by far the best way for me to get my hands on the photo or event I want, without having to put in loads of effort to tag everything, is the chronological thing.
    So I was hoping there might be a way for me to change the date of those events to the correct ones.  I don't mind a convoluted round-about solution, but if it has too much under-the-hood stuff, I'll need very clear and detailed instructions to pull it off because I'm clueless about that. I would also prefer not to have to download any more software, but if it's the only way or even just the best way by some distance, I'll do that

    To elaborate a bit on Terence Devlin's excellent advice:
    Select the images with the wrong date, then go to the menu
         Photos -> Adjust Date and Time
    and set the "Adjusted" Date to the correct date of the first image. All other images will have their date shifted by same offset. If you check the "Modify original files" button, then also the original files will have their date corrected, not only the current versions.

  • Date_popup returns date to wrong colum...

    I am using wwv_flow_item.date_popup in a select statement, but the problem is it is always returning the value selected to the wrong row.
    I tried many things like putting an order by clause etc, but the same problem.
    I have a query as follows:

    from dual
    order by x;
    I also tried without the union, but still the same problem. I upgraded my htmldb version from 1.3.6. to 1.5.0.0, but still the same problem.
    Any help is appreciated. If this is a know bug, I shall write my own JS for date popups.

    Now when I click on the date popup, and select a value it returns to either a row above or below. I could see the problem with the button that is getting generated. The JS associated with the button does not have the correct row number associated.
    For e.g. the date popup button on row 3 has a call to javascript:genCalf04_0(), which obviously is wrong, it should instead be javascript:genCalf04_2()..

  • SignatureInfo.Date Displays wrong Day

    When I sign a digital signature field on a PDF form, in the properties window, the date is showing as "2010.02.24 10:25:40 -06'00'"
    However, when I extract the date programmatically, it's returning as "2/3/2010 10:25:40am"
    Does anyone know why the day is 3 weeks off or just wrong in general?

    I'm signing using a Topaz Digital Signature Pad.

    I basically open the document, get the PDDoc, get the JSObject, check to see if the signature has been signed, and then message box the date for testing purposes.

    Have an OES2.3-LX-64bit server fully patched. Fresh install yesterday. Just noticed that our file/folder dates are all messed up. Shows up like this: 4/25/60093. All the dates have good day and month. It's the year that is messed up. All the years show 60094, 60094, 60095 and so on. Just wanted to piggy back on the recent postings on wrong file dates in NetStorage, Bug# 698388. Basically wanted to get an idea if our problem with the dates comes under this bug.

    You'll have to contact Novell for the patch though, but they should credit you for the SR since you have the bug #.

I want it to show as - 04/11/2002. I looked at the DateFormat thing but every time I try to use it, it says 'class java.text.DateFormat is abstract'. So like, what am I supposed to do?

    To use DateFormat you need to get a concrete implementation, (don't worry about what that means, you've got enough to worry about trying to get this done before Richard & Judy starts).
    Try something like:

    DateFormat df = DateFormat.getDateInstance(DateFormat.SHORT);
    System.out.println(df.format(new Date));
