I'd like to know if the iPhone 5 demo unit has the same warranty of the device to sale. I'm an Italian H3G dealer and I keep this demo for me but I'd like to be sure of this.

No, it is made by Otter. I learned that Otter calls it a "Holster Accessory Apple Defender IPhone." Its also called a IPhone belt clip. It came with the IPhone 5 when I purchased it. When I asked about a replacement at an electronic store, they told me that Apple might have a warranty on it. I couldn't find anything on the Apple Web site. So the question was: does Apple have a warranty for the clip?

Purchasing an extended warranty for the Sealed Battery

Hi,
I purchased an open box Lenovo X1 which has 2yrs onsite warranty remaining. I am now trying to purchase an extended warranty for the sealed battery unit but not sure how to proceed.
I have found the product 04W7993 which sounds like the right item but not sure if it would apply to my machine.
Can anyone confirm if this warranty product could be used to extend the warranty for my laptop? Even though it was open box, the cycle count was only 1 and the battery still has 100% of manufacturer capacity reported by the Power Manager.
I have tried ringing Lenovo Warranty services and the Lenovo UK sales line but neither could help me.

The 1294 system has a standard 3 year on-site warranty, the following are the options available;
The problem for you may be that the accidental damage cover needs to be puchased, I believe, within 90 days of purchasing the system. As you purchased an "open box" system I'm not sure if this is still possible, at best ask the shop where you purchased it; if they had purchased it as a demo-system it should be possible for you to purchase both.

As read in the title. I'm am currently abroad with my 4S, and warranty expires today. I purchased 1 Applecare in Austria today, but it's impossible to register with my phone. They advised me to buy another one in the US store, as there are regional differences in the usability of Applecare. I cannot find it in the Apple Store, only for new phones. Pelase give me any links to make apurchase today, as this is my last day to be able to do so!

In the US, regular AppleCare for the iPhone is no longer sold. Only AppleCare Plus is sold now, & that must be purchased within 30 days of the purchase of your phone...too late for you to purchase now.
Thus, there is no way for you to add AppleCare Plus to your phone.

Yes, applecare is now applecare+ and must be purchased within 30 days of buying your iPhone. Also now, if you do not buy it when you buy the phone, you must make a genius bar appointment to get the phone inspected before they will activate applecare+.
However, if you still have the receipt for when you bought your iPhone 4, you should still be able to get the older regular Applecare for it as long as you buy and register it within one calendar year of your iPhone's date of purchase. Anyone with an iPhone purchased before the changes is still eligible for regular Applecare within their one year warranty period.

I must have missed the option to add AppleCare+ to my iPhone 5 pre-order, too. Fortunately, I was able to obtain confirmation from an Apple representative that AppleCare+ can still be added to a new iPhone 5 within 30 days of the device's ship date.
My iPhone 5 Ordering Situation:
Successfully submitted pre-order at 2:05am CST
Realized I did not add AppleCare+
Tried to add it as a separate product
Unable to add AppleCare+ after submiting pre-order
This Morning:
I just got off the phone with an Apple representative. He assured me that, once my iPhone 5 arrives on September 21, I will be able to: 1) call 1-800-MY-APPLE and have AppleCare+ added to my iPhone 5; 2) go into an Apple Retail Store and have AppleCare+ added to my iPhone 5. He said I would have thirty days from my device's ship date (September 21) to add AppleCare+ to it. He also recommended that, if I wanted to have AppleCare+ added at an Apple Retail Store, I should make an appointment as soon as possible. Because I was still concerned something might go wrong, the Apple representative emailed me a copy of my case number to use as a reference in case I have any issues obtaining AppleCare+ on September 21.

I ordered through the Apple Store app on my iPhone 4
I live in the United States
My carrier is AT&T
I have a case number and repeated assurances from an Apple representative
While your situation may differ from mine I do hope you're able to add AppleCare+ to your iPhone 5 once it arrives, either by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE or by making an appointment at your nearest Apple Retail Store.

Title basically explains everything. I contacted Bestbuy to see if they knew but all they said is they know they're going to offer their warranty which is almost $300 for 2 years. So, I was wondering if AppleCare+ was going to be available for the iPhone 5 at the price it was offered for the 4S? ($100 for lifetime) Or would it be more?
