Warranty -Problems From the Factory-
My recently purchased Yoga 2 (2 months old)has required re-installation of Window 3 times and finally would not let me install any software at all. This problem began 3 weeks after the purchase of the unit and now Lenovo Support will NOT REPLACE THIS FACTORY DEFECTIVE MACHINE!!! Do not buy this computer, Lenovo does not stand by their work!!
If it were me, I'd take it in to the nearest Apple Store and have the experts look at it. It won't cost you anything, you just purchased it so it is still under warranty. I wouldn't waste any time before doing it either.

Communication problem from the vpn-anyconnect to easy-vpn-remote

I have a communication problem from the vpn-anyconnect to easy-vpn-remote, I´ll explain better bellow and see the attached
topology:
1) VPN Tunnel between HQ to Branch Office - That´s OK
2) VPN Tunnel between Client AnyConnect to HQ - That´s OK
The idea is that the Client Anyconnect is to reach the LAN at Branch Office, but did not reach.
The communication is stablished just when I start a session (icmp and/or rdp) from Branch Office to the Client AnyConnect,
in this way, the communication is OK, but just during a few minutes.
Could you help me?

the communication works when you send traffic from easyvpn branch side because it froms the IPSEC SA for local subnet and anyconnect HQ pool. The SA will only form when branch initiates the connection as this is dynamic peer connection to HQ ASA.
when there no SA between branch and HQ for this traffic, HQ ASA has no clue about where to send the traffic from anyconnect to branch network.
I hope it explains the cause.

JPA Error:Could not get a value to be injected from the factory
HI friends ,
I am trying to replicate the example JPAEXample01 using JPA in CE1 from the blogs written by
Sabine Heider/Adrian Görler.
During the testing of the method create employee i am getting the following error.
"Could not get a value to be injected from the factory."
I tried couple of examples using the above process, still held up with same error.
Any pointers to trouble shoot this ?

VolkerNo, they are not. But getting round this is not that simple.
Until recently, the European Volume Limit that you're referring to affected iPods sold within the EU (European Union countries), so one purchased in the US would not be affected by this. Nor, in theory, would an iPod purchased in Norway or Russia, since neither of them are in the EU.
However, iPod Classics now sold within the UK (where I live) now appear to have an option to disable the EU Volume Limit. I would assume therefore, that this option is available on an iPod Classic bought anywhere within the EU. The firmware on an iPod Classic that can turn off the EU volume Limit is 2.0.5.
iPod Classics running earlier versions of the firmware (including 2.0.4) cannot be upgraded. I have personally seen one with 2.0.5 Mac on it in an Apple Store and the EU limit could be turned off. Check the picture from Badgorr in this thread New Option to turn off EU Volume Cap? (It's towards the bottom of the page.) However, non-Apple stores may still have older stock, so be aware of this when you go shopping.
Experience tells me that buying an iPod from outside the European Union area is not that simple and you are unlikely to manage it. Apple will not ship goods to another country. So either you travel to the US to buy one from a shop (that's a bit extravagant) or you persuade someone else to buy one and send it to you. However, not only will you have the cost of shipping, but in either case, your country's tax department will almost certainly add tax to it when it comes into the country. The service delivering it will apply the tax and charge you for doing so as well or you get charged by the customs department at the airport. -
could a 2012 macbook pro from the factory been loaded by the factory with both Snow Leopard AND OSX Lion?
I think MBPs stopped coming with Snow Leopard installed as of the late-2011 models. That's when OS X Lion started being pre-installed on MBPs. Some earlier MBP models (2010, early-2011) had a firmware update to allow Internet Recovery (command+option+r) which would allow a reinstall of OS X Lion (purchased from the App Store) with the purchaser's AppleID/password.
I don't believe SL would even install on a 2012 MBP. -

I updated my ipad to IOS7.04 and have had a variety of problems from a sticky keyboard to my programs/apps skipping from program/app to program/app without my touching my screen.
I tried to restore my ipad to the factory setting and that did not resolve the problem. Due to the upgrade i cannot use my ipad as a funtional unit, how can i get my ipad to function properly again?First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

I have encountered a different iTunes 7.0 problem from the rest if these
ok, I have wrapped my brain around this one as much as I care to.
here is "MY" problem with the new upgrade.
To start, the background info I guess. I opend up my old (6.0 version) and tried to download one of my favorite TV shows (WILDBOYZ)...lol anywho, it said that a newer version of iTunes was needed. So, in response I attempted to download the new version. When I did, I got the usual windows installer junk with the "would you like to run this software etc" so I got through all that and during the middle of the download I was prompted with "A newer version of iTunes already exist on this computer, cannot continue with installation". So, confused at this point I went to the support section on the Apple website and saw some of the suggestions. So I then removed all old versions of iTunes and Quicktime from my computer via remove/change programs from my control panel etc. I then attempted to retry the download (I have disabled my "Norton Antivirus protection at this point) I was then prompted with another error message and this time it said
"Error 1316. A network error occured while attempting to read from the file C:\WINDOWS\Installer\iTunes.msi"
I don't know what to do with this and I have not seen any other realted problems within this discussion forum regarding problems with the new updates for the 7.0.

the 1316 was more common with QuickTime standalone installs than itunes installs, but there's a technique that you can try that has had some success with it.
are iTunes and QuickTime no longer showing in Add/Remove?
if so, also go in and manually remove any itunes and QuickTime leftover program files and program folders, as per the "Uninstall older versions of iTunes and QuickTime" section of this document:

... next, download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility, and use it to check for any leftover iTunes and QuickTime installation configuration information. (if you find any, remove it with CleanUp.)

Nothing but problems from the start...
From the start, I have had problems:
1. When I send emails, it lists them twice in my sent folders.
2. Download ringtones (assigned) that would work whenever they feel like it (random).
3. Stopped notifiying me when I had messages on Facebook. It showed I was online and people were sending me chat messages and thought I was ignoring them because I didn't respond. Later to find out that I had messages... Yes, I checked the notification settings.
4. Stopped notifying me when I had emails. I had to go in to find out I had an email. Yes, I checked the notification settings.
5. Stopped downloading my emails to me at all four days ago and I deleted and reloaded the mail box and it still wont give me anything newer than that.
6. The weather wiki on the front screen will randomly show "Benton" when I'm in "Bentonville".
I'm sure there is more but those are my main concerns right now. I don't have time to sit on the phone or run to the store every time there is an issue with this ******
I did a soft-boot, took the battery out, etc., etc. Any other ideas?I've had mine for 48 hours now and I am experiencing the same issues. I sent my wife a picture yesterday and it kept sending her the same email for about 3 hours. I think it sent about 40 copies. Had to delete the message from outbox, reboot twice and it finally stopped. Today, I updated it with the update and I'm getting random reboots, and apps are crashing. I will try to return it today and post back here if anything changes with new hardware.

Camera problem from the locked screen
I am using an iphone 5s and having problems with the camera from the locked screen.
When i flick up the locked screen to use the camera, i am given a blank screen. When i press the home button the camera quickly appears before returning me to the locked screen.
If i want to use the camera i have to unlock the phone.Try resetting your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Slide to Unlock screen redisplays, see if the camera will now come up with you slide up.

Selling the cotton waste / plastics waste material from the factory.
We have a waste material laying in the factory like cotton waste/Plastic materials.
Thing is that cotton waste is procured as consumable material thru po-- GI is also done for it (hence not in stock ) & now after its use,it become waste.
I want to sale this as a scrap to vendor.
For selling it thru SD-module -Sales order, it required to be in stock as needed by SD module requirement.
Can you please guide me ,how to take it into account as stock so that it will fulfill the requirement of SD module as its already being issued against cost center (201 mvt type)

1.Cotton waste material is received via 101 wrt PO & Issued to cost center via 201 & consumed.
2. Now as its waste we need to sell. This is simple requirement. FI point of waste sale is revenue. but we stuck at place that how will I create the sales order for selling it when the stock is not in inventory. As a consultant, I don't think the suggestion of asking the Client to perform the reversal thru 202 when the material is actually consumed for the intended use & its illogical should then.
There should have some logical way to map scrap, once the material is become waste after its use & not the 202 reversal of GI (which is like material is not/never used & now your scrapping it via sales order!!!).
If we use 202 reversal then what will the impact on the reports -showing all these times GI is reversed!!! which is clearly misreading from the report analysis. -

To not sync apps you don't want from the iTunes library, unselect them in iTunes. They won't sync anymore. -
So I bought this iPhone 5 probably a year ago now, and I want to exchange it for a new iPhone 5, or if possible an iPhone 5s (if they don't have iPhone 5 anymore), idk.

Or what are my options here, since I bought it from Apple.com/online?The program is for replacement since Apple does not repair iDevices...you take your non-working or damaged iPhone to an Apple store genius bar, or send to Apple service, and they provide a refurbished unit as a replacement, for a fee, of course. You will have to talk with Apple to see if you get all components or just the iPhone replaced.
With AppleCare+ you can have two out-of-warranty replacements for a cost of $49 each.
