Warranty return process needs help!

I purchased the extended warranty for my Ipad.  Until the most recent process change we have had great service from the Crossgates Mall location in Albany, NY.  However, last week we needed to return the ipad for service because of a cracked screen that prevented ANY use.  After driving 1/2 hour to the store over the weekend we were told the service process has changed and we now need to start a ticket number to have a prepaid box mailed to us for the return.  We have received the box and upon trying to schedule a UPS pickup I am told pickup is not covered by BB.  I have two small children and a service dog so getting out is very difficult!  My only choice is to wait until the weekend when I can get out again.  The needed service has now been delayed by over a week SO FAR not to mention transit time back to BB, time to repair, and transit time back to us.  I'm guessing this will be a total of 4 weeks.  My 6 year old has assignments on the Ipad and as you can imagine there aren't "loaners" from school. The "work-arounds" are a pain in the rear! I interpret this process change as a deliberate attempt to discourage use of the extended warranty.  I am extremely frustrated!

    If it's work for your self, forget it. Just take PayPal or something
    Oh yeh, and authorising the card online is only half the fun. All that says is "the card is valid, and the funds are available for the transaction *at this time*". You've then got to settle the transactions in order for funds to actually move to your account, and that's even more complicated than authorisation. You'd also need to work around the fact that at this time doesn't mean and also when you settle so expect some transactions to authorise ok, but to be suspended (not paid) at settlement time. Then there's hot-card management - you'll be issued with files detailing known stolen or lost cards, and check against them yourself - cheaper on the comms than going online all the time. It's a minefield

    IDOC(R/3) to XI(integration mapping is done here) then to file.
    I have selected  an idoc (MATMAS).
    I have created a business systems (R/3)
    I want only few fields from R/3(MATMAS) to send to file. So, I do the mapping in integration process.
    In the config, I don't know how to link this thro' integration process.
    Can anyone please help me with the steps.

    Felix, I can think of the foll. steps, try it and let know if it helps
    1) One receiver determination parameters -> BS1(R/3) - sender service , MATMAS - sender interface , receiver system - Integration Process(this integration process you will 've to import from Integration repository)
    2) Now you will create an interface determination for the above receiver determination , ere you will specify the Abstract interface(referred to, in ur container object in receive step of IP). Interface Mapping is not reqd , since MATMAS is received as MATMAS ere without any change.
    3) second receiver determination parameters -> Integration Process - sender service , Abstract interface used in the send step of IP - sender interface , receiver system - Business system/service that has the file commn. channel configured
    4) Now you will create an interface determination for step 3, ere you will specify the Asynchronous inbound interface used by the file adapter & the mapping program to be used(optional)
    5) Now you will create a receiver agreement to associate ur async inbnd interface with the Commn channel(file adapter).

    iTunes will not play WMV files (it will convert unprotected WMA). You'll have to convert your WMV files to a format iTunes can accept.
    BTW, we're all just fellow users here, helping out as we have time, knowledge and inclinations, so it usually takes more than a half hour before someone reponds. Be patient, and usually you'll get a reponse before too long. Posting back and prodding will just get people annoyed with you.

  • Returns Process - movement type 161 and 122

    When I do returns process with help of movement type 122 then it picks stock from "blocked stock". But when I do it from movement type 161, it does not pick it from blocked stock. I have checked transaction OMJJ and found no major difference in settings.
    I want to pick the stock from blocked stock from returns process. Please let me know the setting?

    Steps are as follows
    1. Create return purchase order
    The return purchase order is exactly the same as standard purchase order except the return flag. Go to transaction ME21N and enter orgnization info, material, vendor and tick the return flag.
    2. Review requirements
    Reviewing stock requirements will help determine timing/urgency for allowing normal process to replenish returned items or whether a PO must be created immediately. Go to transaction MD04, the new created return PO is listed as an MRP element.
    3. Create delivery document for Return PO
    This step is executed by warehouse clerk and generate delivery note, transfer order for return PO. Go to transaction VL10B and choose create delivery in background. The delivery doc will be created automatically.
    4. Picking Confirmation
    If the storage location is managed by warehouse, an open transfer order is also created. You need to confirm transfer order before posting good issue. There are two methods to confirm transfer order. Go to transaction LT21 and choose Transfer Order -> Confirm -> Transfer Order. The other method is VL06. On the Delivery Monitor screen, select For Confirmation button. Choose confirm in the background.
    5. Post Goods Issue
    Go to transaction VL02N, enter delivery number and press Enter key. On the next screen, choose Post Goods Issue button. After the good issue has been posted, the quantity of stock has been decreased. The return MRP element in step 2 is also removed in MD04.
    6. Manual Review of Pending Credits
    Go transaction ME2L, enter plant, purchasing organization and choose RECHNUNG for Selection parameters. A list of open invoices including a list of items where the invoiced quantity is less than zero (Credit return) is reviewed.
    7. Create Credit Memo
    Create a credit memo to vendor which relieves the liability to the vendor. Go to transaction MIRO and enter necessary information to create a credit memo. You can choose simualte button to check whether the error messages exist in the credit memo.

    In Batch management config in Logistic general, Check for the movement type 101 & 321 whether batch creation has been activated to Manual, Automatic, or no creation. In your case it looks like for mvt 321 batch creation is set to manual & for 101 no creation.
    if batch creation is set to manual, enter a manual batch no & proceed.
    But to cross verify wheter 101 has generated batch or not please check the stocks in MMBE.

    I need help in optimizing my process. Here is what am I doing:
    I have two tables table A and table B. table A has list of names and table B has name and ID. Right now I am loading name into cursor from table A and for each name from the cursor I try to match with name in table B to get the ID. This process takes very long to complete. I need help to replace PL/SQL with SQL if possible. I am using oracle utl_match to match the best possible record in table B. table B sometimes returns multiple matching records. I take the top nearest match name and ID for my use (there is not always one to one match)
    Any idea or help will be appreciated. Thanks

    always provide create table and sample data instert statements when asking a question. also, provide your database version.
    because you're using utl_match, you can't really use an index, there must be a cartesian join on the two tables so it may always be slow.
    however, here's a sample SQL that you may be able to make use of:

    Hi. I'm making a DateTimePicker (DTP), and I need help on getting a method to return a Date only when the DTP is closed, and I want this to be done in the DTP class itself.
    For now, I've used an infinite loop and it seems to work fine without lagging the computer (my computer is above average), but I'm not sure if there's another more efficient way.
    I would prefer not to use threads, but if that's the only option then I suppose it's unavoidable.

    You could put any component in a JOptionPane or a JDialog and then easily query the component for results once it has returned.

  • Need help with a simple process with FTP Adapter and File Adapter

    I am trying out a simple BPEL process that gets a file in opaque mode from a FTP server using a FTP adapter and writes it to the local file system using a File Adapter. However, the file written is always empty (zero bytes). I then tried out the FTPDebatching sample using the same FTP server JNDI name and this work fine surprisingly. I also verified by looking at the FTP server logs that my process actually does hit the FTP server and seems to list the files based on the filtering condition - but it does not issue any GET or RETR commands to actually get the files. I am suspecting that the problem could be in the Receive, Assign or Invoke activities, but I am not able identify what it is.
    I can provide additional info such as the contents of my bpel and wsdl files if needed.
    Would appreciate if someone can help me with this at the earliest.

    If it is Win 7 or later, the Adobe PDF printer for AA 7 will not install and AcroTray will not function. You will have to install a PS driver from Adobe or maybe an HP color PS printer driver. Then edit the driver properties and change the name to Adobe PDF and the port to FILE. You will always have to do an extra step in creating PDFs by opening the file that is created in Distiller to get the PDF.
    If you are talking about Win 8, you may not be successful at all. If you got Acrobat and Distiller to install, then there is a chance.
