Was able to take screenshots, now I cannot

I used to be able to take screenshots while on the Internet. Now I can only take screenshots when I am not using the Internet. I reset Firefox but that did not solve the problem. I believe that after a MS update in August may have changed my settings on Firefox which disabled my ability to take screenshots while on the Internet.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

With the symptoms you described, try the step in the article below. See the section labeled Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed > If the device is not recognized while in Recovery Mode and If you see two "Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode)" entries with exclamation marks on them. Then select the appropriate operating system that you are using.

If you are logged in with the Apple ID that was used to purchase iPhoto or to set up the computer if it came preinstalled then quit iPhoto, backup your iPhoto library and drag the iphoto application to the trash (do not empty the trash yet) and then go to the App store and install iPhoto
If that does not resolve contact App store support - link is on the right of the App store window

Yesterday I was able to take photos but around 9pm last night my rear camera stop working. I have reseted my phone and have also restored it and the camera still is not working. Also I have deleted all apps that can have access to the camera.

What video card/graphics card does your computer use? NVIDIA GeForce? If so, please read the Announcement about the Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA GeForce issue which is found at the top of this web site. Does that apply to you? The explanation for the situation and the fix (roll back of the driver version) are all included in that Announcement.
We need to rule in or out this factor at the onset before we get to other questions

One of the books I repressed was paused while downloading. Now I cannot download it. Stuck on pause

The book is saved - it is entries in the iPhoto database - there is no practical way to save it seperately (you can save a PDF of it)
To do a different size select the book in the iPhoto sourcde pane on the left and press the command key and D to duplicate it - open the copy and go to themes and select the theme again and the new size - check it closely since text can reflow and photos move in different sizes -
Before ordering your book preview it using this method - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 - and save the resulting PDF for reference - the delivered book will match it.

I can't put cds into itunes, I upgraded the dvd driver software. I was able to before but now I can't. I'm a new ipad/pod owner 2 weeks.

Apple id was created w/out CC, now I cannot use Software Update w/out CC

Let me start by dispelling any notion that I did not search first for this topic. I did search and found dozens of "How to create ID w/out CC". I do not need to create an Apple ID. I have an ID. The issue is that my ID can't be used for my included iPhoto update. It works like this....
I bought a new Mac Mini. I cannot set up my EXISTING Apple ID because it was created without a credit card, and I want to continue using it that way. I do not want to creat any additional IDs. I don't need to buy anything. When I choose Software Update, it separates the updates based on...

When it shows an iPhoto update, I cannot install it because a credit card is required. PLEASE do not try to explain that I can give my credit card number and not buy anythign. I know that. I will not give my credit card number. Let's say I do not have any credit card.
I did manage to download the update directly from the web page and used unpkg to extract the files, moved the files to the correct location, and iPhoto is updated full and perfecly, and works like a charm. The problem is that process did not flush out iPhoto update from the App Store, so it still pops up with the update. How can I either convince Software Update that iPhoto is already updated, or get it to accept my Apple ID without a credit card? I bought the Mac Mini without any credit card, so why can't I update the included software in the normal way?

Sorry, can't help with the credit card issue. It doesn't scare me, so I've never spent any time delving into the issue.
The Mac App Store has a support link in the Quick Links section. However, I imagine they are just going to tell you to enter your credit card info, but may be worth a try. You may have to aks to be elevated beyond the initial script reader that responds as that is all they likely know.
EDIT: Another thought is to go in and Edit your account in App Store. It may need you to agree to a new terms of use/privacy policy type thing, but when it goes into that mode, it hangs on asking for credit card info. Again, not sure, but maybe worth a try.

Connect the phone to iTunes on your computer and click Restore from Backup on the Summary tab of the iPhone screen in iTunes.

An external disk was not ejected properly and now i cannot see it

I have a simpledrive external disk that I use for Time Machine. It is connected via USB. I believe my daughter unplugged the drive without properly ejecting it and now I can't see it. When I plug it in to the USB port it powers up, but I cannot find it, even in the disk utility. The Mac is not seeing it when it tries to run Time Machine. I tried connecting it to my old PC as well just to see, but it is doing the same thing there. Any ideas for how to get this cleared up? Thanks!

Problem solved...I decided to unplug the power from the external disk, and afterwards it showed up again. Don't ask me why, but it worked.

HT3500 i have a mac pro and have connected to my wireless canon printer. I was able to print but now the printer comes up with the paper in the tray is the wrong size. but the paper is A4. does any one know what is wrong.

Well... no help was found here.. so I abandoned the wireless- ness of my printer. I bought a
small 10 port hub because only 2 USB ports really isn't enough with wireless mouse, wireless internet
and any kind of printer. I also bought a long USB cable. I now print--wired since this can be done
as an alternative to wireless with this printer. Because I don't want a cable "hanging around"
when the printer is not in use, I simple disconnect it and reconnect when I want to print.
It's a temporary solution others may find helpful as well. Apparently there's been a lot of
confusion and problems getting this printer set up wirelessly with our MacBooks.
Shame on HP for not helping us out!

Cant take screenshots

I Can not take screenshots with my iphone 6. It suddenly stopped working today. I even did the last iOS8.1.2 update. Please help, thanks.

NOw actually nothing happens when I try to take a screenshot. I am sure that I am trying the correct way as I was able to take screenshots yesterday.. I restarted my phone, but still not working.

I unintentionally deleted the first segment of some video. I was able to get it out of the Trash and into "Finder", but I cannot restore it to iMovie and the original video. Help! How do I move the video (now in Finder) back to iMovie?

I deleted (to Trash) a segment of "raw footage" from an iMovie project that I did not want to delete.
I was able to retreive it from the Trash and move it to Finder, but I cannot figure out how to move it back to iMovie.
How do I do this (restore the video segment to the start of the project)?
Or, do I have to load the original video again from the camera?

So, unless I'm mistaken that would be the "long way" to resolving this issue.
I was able the take the deleted video out of the Trash and now it's in Finder. Why can't I simply re-insert it into iMovie where it orginally was? That would be the simple solution, just "click and drag", or something like that, correct? Maybe that's impossible? (In which case, I must ask, "Wouldn't the creators of iMovie have considered this "boo-boo" and done something to remedy it easily?" I doubt I'm the first vidiot to do this...
