Was anyone able to purchase 2 phones from Apple for a FamilyTalk plan
On June 17 I placed 2 separate orders for 32GB phones, both lines eligible for upgrade pricing. After waiting patiently since June 17 I received an email from Apple today that there is a "problem" with the 2nd order and to check with AT&T to resolve it. I spent 1 1/2 hrs on the phone with them while they were trying to find the problem, they couldn't find one and said the 1st phone has already gone through and the 2nd phone is eligible and the account is OK etc. I then called Apple and the guy I talked to there now says that because this was a family plan that I am only able to purchase 1 phone online and that the other one has to be bought in a store or from AT&T. I thought that as long as it was 2 separate orders it was OK, was I wrong and now I have to try & find one in a store now?
I am so frustrated.....

Kathy, I had a similar problem when I went to order two phones from Apple on June 16, I also have a FamilyTalk plan. I had an Apple CSR on the phone when I made the orders. I suspected that both orders had gone threw for the same phone # but the CSR assured me that everything was okay. So I ordered the phones on June 16, they both went to Prepared to Ship on July 3. Then on July 4 one of the orders went back to its previous status, then the email from Apple came on July 5 saying that there was a problem with an order and I should contact AT&T and of course it does not say which order. So I contacted AT&T and it turns out that two orders went in for my wife's phone # even though the CSR said the order was fine and she checked both orders for me. The AT&T rep I talked to on July 5 said he talked to Apple and that I would have to cancel the order in question and re-order the phone for my #. So I ended up putting in a new order with AT&T because of the 7-10 ship rather than the 3 weeks from the Apple site. So the first phone is still Prepared to Ship and the second phone sits in backordered status with AT&T. I wish they would have informed me of the problem right away rather than three weeks after I put in the initial order. So I feel your pain, you are not alone.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page should let you reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

I moved from the UK to Sweden. My trial expired in the UK but I was not able to purchase CC in Sweden for some reason. I was told to create a new account in Sweden with a new Adobe ID. When I did, the trial downloads did not work and I could not purchase the CC at discount price.

i bought a iphone 5s from gumtree. While trying to activate it i realised there was an account linked to it through an apple id. it doesnt say the phone is in lost mode and it still has warranty. am i able to get a fix from apple?

if the device is on ios 7.1 or above there's two things.
1) the device may be restored to factory settings - but the phone can't be activated. imei unlock is different to Iphone activatio. - your friend unlocked it to use any sim in any country. iOS 7 forces you to restore the phone and reimpit the original icloud login. This can only be solved if you a)forgot the login/changed it, and can prove to apple youre the owner; b) to get the original owner to deauthorize his account associated with the phone, on his/her computer.
2)if there's also a Passcode lock on the phone, and the last registered sim doesn't work (in the case of a stolen phone) - then it's impossible for you to do anything, full security = restore will lead to activation lock immediately. There's no bypass to it, the fake videos online only allow a bypass if the device was a 'jailbrokem' one - which would invalidate apple trying/ever wanting to help you.
if you know who the phone belonged to previously (usually comes up with the icloud username on it) then you can ask them to deactivate it.
otherwise, you have what we call - a brickb- won't even work as a super iPod touch

My story is.... I purchased a phone from an online source. I created an Apple ID and Password. Then I attempted to set up with my new carrier. Well, the phone was s dud. Even had Apple Genius Bar take a look at it. I will be returning the phone. So I will also be purchasing another phone. Can I transfer the Apple ID and Password from phone to phone. I have cleared out the dud. But now, I am worried that the Apple ID will go with the phone when I return it. -
When i use my laptop to make an iTunes store purchase, it always asks me to verify my account details by entering my credit card verification number. After i do this i then receive an email stating "Your Apple ID, ..., was just used to purchase ... from the iTunes Store on a computer or device that had not previously been associated with that Apple ID."
My Laptop is my home device and apart from purchasing app's on my iphone 4, i only use my laptop to make itunes purchases.I'm having a similar problem. I had previously (over a year ago) purchased 2 episodes of Law & Order. Then about 2 months ago, I purchased the 3rd season of Sons of Anarchy. When I downloaded these episodes to my iPad, about a dozen full seasons of various shows popped up, too. No money was removed from my iTunes account & theses particular shows aren't in my iTunes library on my desktop. I've tried every which way to delete them from my ipad, but can't. I went to the Apple store & they suggested I contact expresslane.apple.com for help. I submitted my problem, via email Friday, as they asked, but have not received any response. Any suggestions on how to get rid of these "phantoms?".

I was being able to watch facebook videos from my ipad, and since i updated my IOS to 7.1.1,i dont know if it has to do with that but now i can no longer see any facebook videos
If you look at the preferences for Flashblock (access from the extensions window of the add-ons manager) and choose Whitelist, you can add a site to that window, and that site will not be blocked by Flashblock at all. You will not even see the Flashblock icon.

I bought the company unlocked phone from apple store Canada. It was originally loaded with software 4.2 and was working fine here in SaudiArabia. Yesterday I updated with IOS 5.0.1. Now it is showing that sim is not valid. The same sim works fine in other phones.
Here's and update on my problems and here are are some screen shots of the types of problems I've been having since the v5.0.1 update. Keep in mind these are native apps and I have tried the rebuild phone crap many times, nothing helps.
This is screen shot of a what happened when I tried to use my camera one day, both the front and back cameras were all black. I had to power cycle the phone to get rid of this problem. The cameras appeared to be working correctly, I could focus and zoom but it was all black.
Here is an image of what happened when I searched for something in a map. This is after I picked the choice I wanted, the keyboard disappeared but the list didn't. I had to force close the app and restart it for this problem to go away. Who knew five bars on ATT was possible.
And finally this is the messaging app, although you would not know it. I had to return to home screen (after a long pause for it to process the button push) and return to the messaging app. This happens all the time with the messaging app and the notifications sounds drive me crazy. If i'm using the phone, say browsing the web and I get an incoming message its almost 100% of the time the messaging app will screw up. The sound will play at the wrong time or not at all, message will show up in notifications and diasapear in message app or Ill have a problem like this: -

Take it to an authorized service center or Apple Store in the country where the phone originated. Apple does not sell iPhones in Pakistan, nor will they ship them to Pakistan.

My husband purchased my phone at Apple Store, we then assigned At&t as our carrier. I am no longer under contract and want to switch carriers. I am told I must unlock my phone, but I am not sure if I have to since we bought the phone at full price from Apple. If I do have to unlock my phone first how would I do that?
