Was anyone aware that Yahoo arbitrarily deletes your notes in that app?

has anyone's notes been affected/erased by Yahoo for no apparent reason and if so, were you able to recover/restore them?

What app are you using?
The notes app in iOS has nothing to do with yahoo.

Many times now, I open Notes on my iPhone 4s to look at something, it's there for a split second and then deletes.
I then check my Macbook only to find out that they have been erased there, too.
I cannot find a way to get them back and I do not back up that often.
Why does this keep happening? And just today (5-30-14) I used my phone to listen to my music, reach my destination, go back in to start listening on my way home, only to find out my music is gone.
I come home to check if the music is still on my phone. I find out it is, but it's not showing up on my phone.
Anyone having similar problems?
I upgraded to iOS 7 when it was first available for iPhone 4s and I keep on track with updates.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2nd gen ipad. Since the latest ios update my ipad will not charge when hooked up to my computer running windows 7 and even though it shows that it syncs in Itunes, it will not download any apps. It just seems to skip that part.

I went to the apple store and they hooked up my ipad to a mac and it showed that it was charging and that apps would download. My ipones, touches, and ipods are not having any problems, just this ipad. It seems to be since I updated to the new ios. You can't even do a restore on it because it doesn't recognize it. It shows up top that it's doing that but nothing happens on the ipad. The computer seems to recognize the ipad, itunes recognizes it. It acts like it is communicating with it but it doesn't download anything and won't charge when it's hooked up to the USB port. THe Apple store says there is nothing wrong with this ipad which is about 6 mths old. So what now?

Most USB port do not supply enough current to charge the iPad.

Can not delete unwanted notes within Notes App

After upgrading my 3G iPhone to iOS 4.0.1, I have noticed my Notes app on my iPhone will no longer allow me to delete anything.
it initially deletes a note, but as soon as you select another note from the list to delete the one you just previously deleted pops up again....
Any help regarding this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Reset your phone:
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release(ignore the slide to power off). See if you can delete your notes now, if not post back.

It will only delete the backup from iCloud. It won't delete anything from your phone.

I just spent over 5 hours in computer share with AVG. They said your server messed up my email account. I can get to my email account, but the line that reads "delete, move, not spam, more" never loads...therefore, I cannot delete email or anything else. My email account is at verizon yahoo. I need access to my email for various reasons, one of them being I pay many bills online and my email account is where I get certification that the payment went through!! My email will work through IE, though. I do not want to utilize IE to see my email...I use Firefox for everything and it would be a pain in the butt to have to switch to IE to access my email. When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:

Background: I recently (December) bought an ipad and set up icloud for contacts and calendar, but NOT mail. My email provider is Verizon. I use computer, iphone, and ipad to check my email; eventually I download it from the server using Outlook on the computer and then delete any remaining emails from the phone and ipad. I can't find info on this problem anywhere.

It sounds like your iPad all of a sudden seems to be restarting out of no where. If you haven't called AppleCare yet, I would start with quitting either the app that seems to be causing the issue, or all the apps if a single doesn't seem to be the culprit.
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes, then restore it as new and verify that it works.
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself.

How did you delete the Note? If you did a "select all" and "cut", open the Note and shake your iPhone to undo the cut action.

I had this problem for about six weeks. I was following this forum but was too unsure of what might happen to try the fixes that were suggested.
About two weeks ago I decided to delete the downloads.28.sqlitedb file (usingDiskAid(a free program), on a PC running Windows 7). The original downloads.28.sqlitedb was 936 KB. The new one that the system created is 80 Kb., and has stayed at about that size. After about four days I also deleted all the other contents of the Download folder. Ten days later and still no more problems. Downloads are much quicker, nothing greys-out (as was happening frequently before).
Everything has worked well since with no more error messages.
I am using an iPod 4G, iOS 5.1 (originally iOS 5.0). I do not have a manifest file, and as far as I know, have not had one. DiskAid can search the whole "hard drive" on the iPod.
Deleting downloads.28.sqlitedb and the contents of Downloads worked for me.

You really should be doing backups with an actual backup application, especially one that will work automatically, and, if your external HD is large enough, back up your entire system. These can automatically back up only what's changed since the previous backup, and some will keep "archive" copies of things you've changed or deleted, also.
Too many things can go wrong, such as your internal HD failing, and you'll have a major project to reinstall everything.
You already have Time Machine, built-in to OSX. You might want to review the Time Machine Tutorial, and perhaps browse Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.

It sounds like you are trying to upgrade your Mac to a newer version of OS X, after completing a fresh install of Snow Leopard.
If you have already purchased and downloaded OS X Lion and Mavericks, you should be able to find these items in the Purchased section of the Mac App Store.
