every time I tried to open I kept getting a message telling me Foxfire was alresdy running and I needed to close that window, but when I opened my task manager it wasn't running. Finally I uninstalled and redownloaded, but had the same problem. then when I had a chance I tried to open it and I got a message telling me it had crashed. So I uninstalled and when I went to download I got an unuscalsmall window showing the exe. download and after it was finished that was it. I have an acer aspire with a window 7 premium. I keep Foxfire for school because some of the programs I have to do or read are not compatible with windows.

Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab. Click: Delete All
Now uninstall the currently instaled Flash plugin > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
Then click here > http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
For step 1 and 2 select: 10.6 / 10.8 > http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
Assuming you are using Safari for Facebook, quit then relaunch Safari.
From the Safari menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Reset Safari
Select: Clear History (that also empties the Safari cache)
Deselect the other boxes then click Reset.
Try Facebook.

Update your iOS.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

I think you have to turn off Private Browsing.
Tap "Private" on Safari Screen to disable Private Browsing. When top of screen is white, Private Browsing is off.

The latest flash player release is 11,0,1,152.
Can you upgrade to this version and see whether the crash stil exists?

I have also tried the Mac superdrive but my imac wont recognise it as it's been configured for macbook air and mini mac. I know I can "make" it work by doing something or other in com.apple/plist, but dont want to mess about in there.
I'm also told an external drive would work but does "mac compatible" mean only for air and mini as their own superdrive is or all macs?
Any help appreciated before I convince myself mac is no better than windows pc!

I can buy the drives at a dozen places but none of them seem to know what connection is correct (SATA etc) and that includes the apple store. It was the store who told me buy the superdrive and all my problems would be over. Wrong! It isn't recognised by imac as it's confifured for air and mini mac. Only way to make it work is as i said in earlier post. (Would you be happy buying a car you were told would start and then discover you have to open the bottome and fiddle to make it go?)
The apple store I would not even consider taking it to. Days without the pc, over priced and don't have a good reputation for actually fixing things!

Trying to set up, but it is taking forever. Seems to be stuck in one particular spot. It's at the stage with a black screen, white apple icon and a bar underneath. The bar is is just a fraction complete, and it has been stuck in this spot for almost an hour. Tried to restart it but it went to the same spot and froze again.

You do not use a WEP password but wpa/wpa2 on router and equipment.
All equipment connects to WiFi, but for your iPad.
Even with all other equipment WiFi off, you cannot connect your iPad.
Your iPad connects to other WiFi nets correctly.
All resets etc done on iPad and Router.
Still I am not sure it is your router for sure, frustrating...
I want to test 2 other things:
1. in your iPad, set everything OFF in Settings/Cellular, turn off/then/on your WiFi, and see whether it will still not connect...
2. If that does not do it: disconnect the router as well as the modem from the power, for 15 seconds, then reconnect the modem, let it fully start, then reconnect the routet let it fully start, turn of your WiFi in iPad, then on, and see whether it will connect.

If you go to the Photos app, is there content in the Photo Library? These would be pictures that are synced to the phone from the computer. Photos in the camera roll are those that you take with the phone, or save from email, MMS on the phone. What type of pictures are you trying to get rid of? If you are trying to get rid of the synced photos, you need to connect to iTunes, select the iPhone in the device pane, then go to the Photo tab in iTunes and remove the check mark by sync.

I'm having the same issue. i have imported everything but the offending photo from my iPhone. problem is, with over 5000 pics, i have no idea how to find THAT ONE pic that won't import (bc I just get a greyed out pic image - with no data in iPhoto)

If you are going to change your AppleID login you will need to log out and back in on all your devices. Turn off 'Find My iPhone/iMac/iPod' first or you will find yourself unable to sign out and be stuck.
