The frozen screen faded to white with a few lines and about 10 minutes later, the edges started to turn black, forming a ring which got larger till about 4 hours later, the screen turned completely black. I tried connecting to iTunes but it wasn't detecting the phone and I can't do anything with it now... When it turned completely black, I charged it and after a while, the low batt screen came on but it was fuzzy and flickering with the white ring... What to do know ???????
Restart your computer while holding down left mouse key. That will eject the CD and your Mac will start as normal.

I am having the same issue. And today, I noticed that when I was talking on the phone, the volume went down low. I had to reboot the phone, so that the volume was up again. Mostly, though, it's my music that I am having issues with.

Pages keeps asking me to save a document when I'm just scrolling through it
Is this normal behavior? I'm just scrolling through a document without making a single change, and Pages asks me to save it every single time. I don't remember Pages '08 having this issue.
Is it just me? I've got all of the Save Preferences unchecked and it still happens. It's incredibly frustrating that I cannot tell if a document has actual changes made, or if it's just being annoying.
Please tell me this is a Pages error and not just me.

It seems that using the 'two-finger scroll" marks the documents as "Modified" so needing a Save.

Okay, I see what you are talking about now. My impression from your first post was that Pages kept popping up some message about saving, but apparently you are talking about the normal save question if you try to close a changed document or quit the program - right?
The two-finger scroll comment helped me replicate it, though I don't match everything you said. Here is what I find:
1. Don't have to select anything at all.
2. Does it on one page document too (it does take every line on the page so many that is a factor).
3. I'm on a 13.3" macbook so not all of a single page fits on the screen so I have to scroll (is that your situation or can you fit a single page on the screen?).
4. If I use the two-finger scroll, after about 3-4 lines, I think, the little circle icon that says the file is changed will get the dot in it.
Okay, that doesn't help much, but at least I can confirm your situation and add some other details.
If you can fit a full page on a screen and a single page doesn't have this problem, but I can't fit a single page and the problem still shows up for me, that might be a small clue for someone - Apple at least if this is a bug.

Before declaring that the disk is dead (which is a common cause for what you are seeing), try the steps outlined in this article:

If you don't have your original system disks, you can boot into single user mode folloing these instructions:

and then following the directions for running the fsck command in the second article I list above.
I would try these things before giving up and assuming that the disk is dead. The flashing question mark indicates that a valid boot disk cannot be found. One cause for this is that the disk has experienced hardware failure. However another cause could be that the system and boot files on that disk are somehow damaged (perhaps from a power surge or an improper shutdown of the computer) and in some cases the above repair steps can restore them to working condition. -

Playlist just scrolls through tunes at top of screen but won't allow me to play them
my playist just scrolls through each title in the list but won't allow me to stop it nor will it play anything from playlists. installed iOS6 and it worked fine until today (about a week). Also turned on iTunes match and it continued to work for about 3 weeks. Still works on my other iphone4, but not on my 4s. Power down and up didn't work to fix the 4s - phone still sees titles, but only scrolls through them on its own and won't play any tunes

I haven't ever seen this happen, but if quitting apps and hard resets don't do it you might want to start clean. Are you able to run a backup of your iPad mini? If I was in your shoes, I would back up the iPad, erase the iPad and then restore the data to see if that fixes it.
Step 1 would be to back up the data (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766).
Step 2 would be to restore the iPad to factory settings (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414).
Step 3 would be to restore the backup (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766).

One day i was just flipping through my ipod i put it on sleep mode then next time i opened it without me doing anything it gave me an option of ''slide to power off'' i pressed cancel then it automatically went back to sleep mode it is still happening my ipod is jailbroken and i didnt fiddle with the settings.. please help.
If it is jailbroken, we are not allowed to help you with that here. You'll need to seek out other sources of help. The jailbreaking could potentially be part of the problem, for all I know.
BTW, just a pointer... punctuation is your friend! Your post was very difficult to read without any. Many people will simply stop reading and click the "back" button when encountering something like that, which limits availability of help to you. -
How do I get my iPhone to play music rather than just scrolling through
I synced my new iPhone 4S to my computer and now I can't play my music. It just scrolled through the titles.
Did you check to see that shuffle is is turned off? To do this, while playing a song tap the cover art to reveal the additional controls if they are not already visible (see photo below). Then tap the shuffle button (bottom right) until it turns white (white is off).

It sounds like something became corrupted on the ipod.
Have you tried resetting the ipod first. Just to reboot the ipod.

The apps I created from "add to homescreen" have turned white and have a few lines and circles in it. How can I get the picture back on them?
Those aren't apps; they're bookmarks to websites. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? If all else fails, you can just re-do the shortcuts.

So this morning, the sound on my MacBookPro was working perfectly, but then all of the sudden, the sound didn't work. When i turned the volume up, it showed it turning up, but there was no noise. I also tried plugging in my earphones, and it still didn't work. I don't know what to do!!
Go step by step and test.
1. System Preference > Sound > Output > Internal Speakers
Highlight Internal Speakers / Headphones
Make sure that Mute is not enabled.
2.Plug in and remove the headphone.
If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.
3. Reset PRAM. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4405
4. Reset SMC. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
Choose the method for:
"Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
5. Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup

I have a problem with my new ipad air 64g with cellular. When I off my ipad for a long period of time ( around 2 hours), my ipad air freeze. Nothing is showing on screen with any button except by pressing reboot (home on/off button). Anyone out there can help. Thanks.
I have a 64GB iPad Air WiFi+Cellular (Verizon), and I don't see the issues you are describing. First I would suggest that you update your iPad to the newest iOS update. If that doesn't help, then you may want to schedule an appointment at an Apple Genius Bar. If you go this route, I suggest that you let the iPad sleep for long enough for the problem to arise before you go to your appointment.

Numbers does not open with the main user after installing mountain lion. It works flawlessly when I use the second account on my mac. What got corrupted in the admin-account, something in the user-library? How can I fix it? I´m kinda desperate... (the same happens with the other iWork-Apps!)
Looking forward to hearing from somebody with a littlemore expertise than me, Chrisyou can remove preferences files by navigating to the Preferences folder for your user as follows:
0) Quit ALL iWork apps (Keynote, Pages and Numbers)
1) from the Finder select the menu item "Go > Go To Folder…". This will bring up a dialog:
2) enter the path "~/Library/Preferences" (no double quotes)
3) find the files:
com.apple.iWork.Keynote.plist
com.apple.iWork.Numbers.plist
com.apple.iWork.Pages.plist
and move these to the trash. I would NOT empty until later.
4) restart Numbers -
