Was pre-ordering the ipod touch 5G better than buying it?

I pre ordered the ipod touch 5th generation in September and i was wondering if i should have waited to buy it in October.

I feel like the price won't really change on them, even on Black Friday they usually are only about 10 dollars cheaper or you get a 10$ giftcard or something. And the reason the wait is so long is because it hasn't been released yet, but you probably know that. Have a nice day.

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. No price difference. The only advantage is that you'll be able to receive the new version possibly before it hits store shelves. Other than that, there really isn't any.

Why havent I been contacted regarding the Pre-order download issue. I know that its only $10.99 but come on...I had to hear this from the actual artist instead of who I am making the purchase from. You all have to do better than this...

As to your post, I don't know what you mean "download issue". Do you mean that you were not notified that the album is now available? If so, have you confirmed that emails from Apple are not being blocked by an anti-spam filter on your email account or email application?

Apple Radio Remote doesn't work with the iPod Touch?!

In the Future it will be possible to use the iPod touch with the radio remote. About a week before on the apple store site the radio remote was supported by the iPod touch.

I have been trying to find out the same thing. I have pre-ordered a iPod Touch 5g, but only can find a release of October. I did read somewhere else that it would be released at the end of October, but I am not sure if that is 100% true or not.

The size of the driver is not an issue the size of the plug is what matters. If the headphones have the larger plug then an adapter is needed to connect to the iPod.
