Was this deleted? Anyway, why isn't mainstage a plugin?

I can't find this in my questions and wonder why it was deleted?
Anyway, since MAIN STAGE is such a cool app, you would think that they would create access to it via LOGIC ala plug in. As it is now it's like Absynth 4 but not being able to record ideas?
I see it as such, it is such a creative tool yet no way to capture the ideas that you have? When you save a performance, what does that mean? Just saving what you have setup?
Doesn't it make sense to have access to these patches in Logic to capture ideas?
I'm sure there are work arounds (capture what you hear) programs, *any ideas*, but one would think this is a no brainer as its the most creative tool logic offers yet you cannot capture the ideas?

For now what is the best way to capture the audio via a 3rd party plug in? At least inspirational ideas aren't lost for good - or am I missing something?! No midi track and no access to MAIN STAGE in logic. (at least according to manual). Logic manual has no mention of it, Mainstage says not made for recording. I bet 101% that Sound On Sound UK when it reviews says this is a con.

I don't understand. Sounds you play in Mainstage are all made out of Logic plugins. You either call up the plugins themselves, and call up plug settings (just as it works in Logic) or you load whole channel strips (just as it works in Logic).
You have the same bunch of channel strips to work from.
If you want to split/layer whole groups of channel strips, then you can easily do that in Logic as well.
So, if you call up an electric piano channel strip to play an electric piano sound in Mainstage, that same channel strip with all necesary plugins is in the same place in Logic and sounds identical.
