Was using Flash 8 on a PC now using Flash CS3 on MAC X and having problems
Hello,
I'm currently creating a photo gallery displaying thumbnails
of the original main image.
I was using Flash 8 on a PC and now am using that same file
on a MAC OS X using Flash CS3. And now the thumbnails are not
visible. The main image appears but the thumbnails do not.
The SWF created with Flash 8 viewed properly but when I
opened the fla in Flash CS3 the thumbnails stopped appearing and
I'm not sure what to do?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, you can use it for Mac computer > Mac computer or iDevice > iDevice. It's because they have different operating systems.

As Retired Engineer indicated, you will need to install Snow Leopard first. After you install Snow Leopard, you need to go into Software Update and perform the updates. 10.6.6 will install the App Store. You should continue to update to 10.6.8 before purchasing and installing Lion from the App Store.
Be sure your machine meets the minimum requirements. Basically, any Mac with a Core 2 Duo processor or later and at least 2GB of RAM (but 4 is highly recommended). If you have a first generation MacBook Pro with a Core Duo, you will not be able to upgrade to Lion. -
I have a music collection on my iPod (160GB Classic). I have that collection on my old Mac Book. Now I have a new Mac Pro and want to transfer the collection to the new Mac Pro, is that doable?

Last ight I downloaded (and paid for) Mountain Lion thinking it was going to be a simple uprgade. Naive I know.
In the process of restarting my computer, I got a message saying I have an error on my HD. When I checked it in disk utility, it said my HD is damaged. It wouldn't let me start my computer on it. I had to use my time machine restore point but then it used my other partitioned side as the HD to restart my computer. What do I do to get my mac HD back??Ok, boot to Partition B and use the Finder Go> Computer and open your Partition A and grab your files, make another duplicate backup of your files to a regular storage drive and disconnect.
When that's completed use Disk Utility to select Partition A and erase with the middle selection and wait it out, it's zeroing the partition and mapping off bad sectors. You might have to use the command r boot to use the Recovery Partition.
Hold Command r keys while booting to enter Recovery and install 10.7 or 10.8 whatever, onto Partition A.
This is assuming your problem is located in your Partition A, which I suspect as your booting fine into Partition B, thus your GUID partition table, Recovery and EFI partitions (hidden) seems to be ok.
However you also should make one of these, this will allow you to boot from the USB and really wipe the entire drive, instead of partition to partition wiping like your doing now, this is in case your problem is located in the hidden partitions I've mentioned.

I am having problem with signing in i do have icloud id but the password that i am putting in is not working.I do have 2 phones and I only use 1 icloud id and 1 email, so when i tried to resend email i did received it but when i created new password it still did not work.Please help me.
2 ways- 1, from a backup, or 2- if you sign in to icloud from your computer you should be able to get any data you had synced with icloud.
Your other iphone thats using the same ID should also have access to that data. But if the data was not synced or backed up, then no. -
A workaround was suggested by a member of the community to turn off both hardware and Flash acceleration. It worked fine (no crashes since), but runs very slowly. In particular, takes five seconds to exit and is often still listed as a running process. Very slow in connecting to Web pages, and very slow loading them because of the graphics. Very slow in loading video. I expected slower responses, but this is REALLY slow. I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 and an Nvidia GE Force 7800 graphics card with all the drivers updated and the plugins for Firefox mostly set on "ask to activate". Should I expect this much reduction in performance when the workaround I mentioned was put into place? If so, it's half a loaf at best. The only thing questionable is that I have two Youtube downloaders that I am trying, but I made the assumption that these were only applied when you downloaded something from Youtube.
In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes": do not clear the Cookies
If you clear cookies then Firefox will also try to remove cookies created by plugins and that requires to start plugin-container processes that can slow down closing Firefox.
Instead let the cookies expire when Firefox is closed to make them session cookies.

New GPU Quadro k5200 installed and having problem with my AE, PPro CS6 not using the GPUs cuda.
Hi guys, I recently bought a workstation from BOXX tech with a new GPU Quadro k5200 installed in it.
I am having problem with my AE, PPro CS6 using the GPUs cuda.
I went to Nvidia Settings and use the specific App to select it to use GPU n- Quadro k5200. But still not working.
Please helpIf you edited the Cudatextfile in the Adobe Premiere CS6 directory correctly then the acceleration should be enabled. The only way it it's not is if you have the wrong driver for that version of Adobe or did not edit the text file with the exact name of the card. You can use the GPUsniffer in that same Premiere directoy with the command prompt to see the name the GPU should be listed as. The Ray Tracer file in AE has to be edited with the same listing.

Can not use hard drive on pc now that i have on mac
I got a new external hard drive to transfer files from one computer to another . once i did so , my macbook asked me if i wanted to back up my computer to the drive , i thought why not . so i did but now the hard drive is not even recodnise on any other computer . Do i have to restore the hard drive ?
you can partition HALF the new HD in EXFAT for use between Mac and PC for read/write.
A better option is buy a second HD and format it in EXFAT, you need 2 copies of your valuable data anyway. Data safeguarding is computer use #1 "law"
things crash, hard drives crash, ......ALWAYS have 2 copies of important data.
Most importantly know that 2 copies of your data is 1, and 1 is none
Always consider and expect your computer’s hard drive to completely crash anytime, at all times, and you should keep a backup AND an archived copy -
Am using Windows 7 on Gateway DX4200-09.Am working with internet provider. May need to replace modem (it's a router/modem combination). Tricky part is that the other two browsers function fairly well. Just Firefox is dead in the water, refusing to even show its opening page. :(
Am considering uninstalling and just downloading the most recent one. Found the program through Control Panel, but the one listed from my Start Menu - all programs doesn't respond at all. I have changed from PC to an Imac and try to install the CD with Creative Suite6, design & web premium, Education Edition which I bought before the cloud appeared. I can't find the install.exe for mac on it, just for pc. What shall I do?

Using the "Party" Menu and Having Problems?
There has been much discussion regarding problems with the "Party" Menu from the En Library. All sorts of problems, but the common aspect was this particular Menu.
Thanks to Jeff Bellune, we have looked closely at this Menu for any errors on Adobe's part. None have been found. The only possibility that Jeff, or I could see, was that the font used, Brush Script Std. might not be installed on all machines. This would trigger an error message in Photoshop, and ask permission to substitute that font for one that is installed. No problem, other than a substituted font. However, Jeff pointed out that Encore might have issues with a missing font, and not treat this in the same way that PS would. This is a bit of speculation, but in Jeff's case his "speculation" is much better than my "knowledge."
As for the font, it ships in the "Goodies" section on the installation disc, and should be included in the Functional Content with the downloaded version of CS3/CS4. It should also be part of the full install, though I suppose that there would be circumstances where it might not install automatically. If this is your case, just go to your installation disc, and locate the font. Use a manual install through Windows, or your OS. Now, this particular Menu should function perfectly. There could also be others, where the font might not be present on one's system. Again, the solution would be the same - install that font.
The only oddity that I found was that the Sub-picture Highlight of the first Button was turned ON. Not sure if this was just a mistake of Adobe's, or was maybe something that I did accidently. Either way, if you get Button 1 with a Highlight (star Shape to the left of the text), just go into that Button's Layer Set and make sure that it's turned OFF. That is the correct state for all Sub-picutre Highlights. The DVD player, or computer, will turn the appropriate one ON, when that Button is navigated to.
I think that I can safely say that there are no "gremlins" in that Menu. Besides checking out perfectly in PS, it functioned perfectly in En. Of course, I had that font installed, as did Jeff.
If any user finds any problem with that Menu, please post the complete and exact details on what you encounter and complete details on your version of En, plus the installation method and language of both the installation and the program. Those could be very important. More details are better.
Hope we don't see mention of the "Party" Menu, except that people used it with NO issues.

When trying to copy and paste, i have a hard time with at least 9 attempts before it takes effect. Thais has been going on for about 2 weeks now. Everything seems to happen as it's suppose to until you go and try to paste.
Update; As of now, i am able to copy and paste. Steps i have taken to correct issues i had before.
- I installed browser again, but issue came up again.
-I uninstalled Google Chrome browser, it recently showed up in my task manger when i was not using the browser. AnVir Task Manger showed it being in use, so i stopped the processor and uninstalled Google Chrome.

-I was using Iobit Toolbox Memory. For some reason, this seemed to be the cause of the problem. After uninstalling it, i am able to copy and paste with no more issues.
