How does one get music from GarageBand on ipad2 to post on Facebook
I worked with the problem last night and the solution I
started coming to involved creating my own custom document class
based off which extends MovieClip. My thought is that way I have
access to the initialization routine of the timeline itself and
that all of the elements on the main timeline should be
"properties" of my custom class.
Is this correct? Is there a down side to doing this & if
so what is it & why?
Also, just for my reference, the last time I did anything
with ActionScript I think I was using '_root' to target the main
timeline. WHat are the global variable names in AS 3? Is it just
'root' & 'stage' or 'Root' & 'Stage' or what?

I have Vista (don't laugh) and my videos are transferred over when I plug in my phone. They don't open up in Winodws Picture Viewer though.
They are under my Photos, under the date created by the sync. Do a search I'm sure you'll find them. -

Is there a way to fade music in iMovie for iPad2? I am making a short presentation using photos - not video. The music soundtrack ends abruptly. Is there a way to have it fade out?
It shouldn't crash but it could be that your library has some user-agent detection that's going awry when running in an unknown browser.
You can always use the HTML5 WebAudio API to go beyond simple audio file playback.

Not sure what you mean by that: is that URL in an image, or is it actual text?
If it is in an image, then you need to extract the image, edit it with something like Photoshop, then add it back to the PDF.
If the URL is actual text, I suggest that you remove the entire URL, then add the corrected link. -
I just ended service with my at&t and was wondering if i have to do anything like have my phone unblocked to use another sim card or use another provider
I have a 3GS, out of contract with AT&T. I emailed for the unlock, and got an email saying:

Now the deal here is, iOS 6 is out now, so in order to complete the instructions and restore it with iTunes, you have to update to iOS 6. I decided to keep 5.1.1, so I did NOT restore the phone. I checked a couple IMEI checker sites, and they all said my IMEI was unlocked, so rather than use iTunes, I just replaced the AT&T SIM with an O2-UK SIM card I had when using my Android phone in England. I was pleased to see T-Mobile show up as my carrier when I turned the iPhone on, and in Settings, it shows O2 as the carrier instead of AT&T, due to the O2 SIM being installed. Then a moment later, I got texts saying what my remaining British £ balance is, since I had leftover money on the SIM from my last trip, and another text said "Welcome to America, have a nice trip!"
The phone isn't jailbroken or anything like that. It's still on 5.1.1 with the proper, working Google mapping. Never restored via iTunes. Never updated to iOS 6. Any SIM card works. No tricks or hacks. You don't have to restore the phone to complete the unlock. -
I am having doubts on the Intel Irish Pro 5200, dont know will it work fine for the latest versions of Photoshop and Lightroom and other Graphics software as this version is said to be the basic and was wondering if it would help for the type of work i do.
Nothing specific against the Iris Pro graphics ...
Just that it's the GPU in the lowest-end iMac model. The software you intend to use (Photoshop, Lightroom,etc) are resource intensive applications and the more powerful system you have the better they perform.
And there is more to performance than just the GPU ... CPU type/speed, VRAM, disk speed for starters. If your use of PS, LR etc. is light and you expect it to remain light, then maybe the low-end iMac will be fine. But if you are any kind of prosumer/power user I suspect you will quickly discover the performance limitations of the low-end model. I'd point you at least to the next model "up." -

After iOS 8 update on iPhone 5C some album art lost - now running 8.0.2 still same issue- all music from iTunes Store.
I have reset the Phone - not sure what more I can do.You are not alone:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

Is there a way of syncing my game to bothe devices an iPhone 4s and an iPad 2 bro!
You can sync the saves between devices by using the Apple sharing through iTunes to copy save games (and other items) on and off from a device.
- Connect your iPod/iPad/iPhone to your computer
- Open iTunes, then select the device in the panel at the left
- Select 'Apps' then at the bottom you should notice an area called 'File Sharing'
- Select 'FM 2012' or 'FM 2011' (depending on which game you have) from the apps listed and you'll see a handful of files in the panel on the rightAny ".dat" files are saved games and you'll have up to 5 of them. "hidden.dat" is the autosave file, while "fm_save1.dat" through to "fm_save4.dat" are manually saved files named according to their position in the save slots.

I like to make MP3 CD's when I have people over, or when my friends have people over so I can just pop them into the CD player and let them play all night without having to worry about changing the CD or anything. Well, Apple's music is in AAC format, so I have to convert the songs to MP3 files using the converter in iTunes. So I'll convert them to MP3's and just delete the AAC file so I don't have doubles. The problem is, the next time I plug the phone into my laptop to transfer new purchases, iTunes thinks that the songs I converted aren't there anymore because the phone has them as AAC files, and iTunes has them as MP3 files, so it doubles the music again...EVERY time!! It's very frustrating! So this is why instead of clicking Transfer Purchases, I would like to be able to just drag and drop the songs I want from the Purchased list on the phone into my iTunes library. I hope I explained this right...lol. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like I'm able to do that. I'm hoping maybe somebody here can help me out and give me some pointers on what to do about this. That stinks! I can actually do that at my house...I just plug my iPhone right into the wire that's plugged into my receiver in my living room...but some of my friends aren't "technology savvy"...lol...so they just have DVD players and I'll put the CD in there because it will read an MP3 disc. What's funny, is I have the phone set to "Manually Manage Music", and when I plugged it into the laptop just now, the one song I downloaded last night on the phone, transferred over to the iTunesl library. That NEVER happens. And it only transferred the one song...it didn't double the other songs like it ususally does. I swear, iTunes does what it wants, when it wants sometimes...lol. thanks,I solved the problem a couple days ago. The mistake I made was that I neglected to shut Firefox down before making the changes to persdict.dat. Once I did that, everything worked as I expected it to work after bringing Firefox up again. I guess that's the equivalent of what you suggested. Thanks for your response.

The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases. You can transfer itunes purchases from ipod to itunes: File>Transfer Purchases

Music you have put in your iTunes Library from other sources, no, unless you have subscribed to iTunes Match and all your songs are stored in Apple's iCloud as well.
