Wat is meant by 'preview'?

I want to understand what is meant by 'Preview' when we are talking about JDeveloper 10G Preview.
Is it a beta or release candidate or still something like a pre-beta (alfa) version?
I couldn't remember there was also a Jdeveloper 9i Preview (I mean of the first release, not 9.03.) First there came a beta (2 years ago) and after that a release candidate (1 and 2) before production.
I hope someone can clarify this

It's closer to a Beta than a Release Candidate.
You could just think of it as a Beta release. Some things will change before production (whereas a Release Candidate is mostly frozen, just a couple of critical issues left and a Beta release is typically still missing major functionality)

Preview does not display pdf properly

I have OS X 10.5.8 and Preview 4.2. Preview will not display a bank statement properly. Most of the content is missing. I initially thought this was the bank's fault, but the pdf statement displays OK on my work Mac using Adobe Acrobat Professional. On Preview, howerver, at work (OS X 10.4) it also does not display properly.
Can anyone suggest a fix, or does Apple read these discussions...? Thanks. Graham

"Preview is meant for previewing PDFs generated by OSX applications for printing.
OSX uses its own code to generate and display PDFs, not Adobe's code.
Adobe has been adding features to its PDF code that is used by some non-Apple software.
PDFs generated by such software may not display correctly with Preview, but will work with the latest Adobe Reader."

So, download and install the latest free Adobe Reader on your home Mac for these statements.

Remove print only water mark

Create a pdf and then goto to the document menu and select add water mark. Set the water mark to only show when the document is printed. Add some text for the water mark. Save your document and close it.
Now open it backup and do a print preview. You should see the water mark in the preview. Cancel the print. Look at the document on the screen. You should not see the water mark when viewing on the screen. This all works.
Now how do you remove the watermark? There is no option for removing the print only watermark.

This assumes that you have the ability to edit the document.
Go to Advanced>PDF Optimizer...
Select "Discard Objects" from the left window panel
In the "Discard Objects Settings" select the check box "Discard all comments and form widgets"
Click the OK button
Rename the PDF to something else
Click the Save button.

I am going through pdf learning of an ALE scenario,i couldnot get wat is meant by client Independent and client dependent.
How can i conclude
Create message type (WE81){color:green} Client independent {color}
To create a new message type, follow these next few steps:
u2022 Enter transaction WE81 (ALE -> Extensions -> IDoc types -> Maintain message type for intermed. Structure -> Create logical message type)
u2022 Choose Create logical message type by double clicking on it
u2022 Click on change icon to enter change mode
u2022 Click on New entries to add a new type
u2022 Enter the required message type, in our case it is ZINVRV and an appropriate description
u2022 Save and exit.
Your message type has now been created. The next step will be to link it to the IDoc.
2.2.1. Link message to IDoc type (WE82 & BD69) {color:green} Client independent {color}
To link the message type to the IDoc type follow these next few steps:

A client is an independent business unit within an R/3 System, Data in the R/3 are classified as cleint-Dependent and client-independent.
Client-independent data such as ABAP Programs, R/3 repository objects throught the entire system. Other data is client-dependent. meaning, it can be viewed from one client. Cleint-dependent data includes customizing application and user data.
Eg.
Scripts are client dependent, means the changes done to SAP scripts in particular client will not be reflected in other client.
Smartforms are client independent, means changes done in one client will be reflected in all the clients.
Server : ECC6
Client : 100 , 200 , 300 , 400
Now suppose you have developed report in DV server client 100.
Then you will be able to see that in all clients.
Hence this is called as client independent. You can change anywhere and changes will be reflected to all ...
Now suppose you have developed a script in DV client 100.
You will not be able to see that in client 200 or 300 or 400 unless ytou copy that from client since it is client dependent.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.2 (8.2) freezes up constantly on Mac OS X Yosemite

After the latest update (no idea which one but the latest update) Premiere Pro cc just keeps freezing up constantly. There's no indication what brings it up but after different periods of time I just get the apple wheel and the entire program freezes up. I force quit and get the "sorry, a serious problem has occured", blabla. Sometimes it's in the middle of cutting a clip, sometimes it's while trimming. There isn't a single indication what causes it. At first I thought it was only because of using a multicam clip, but that's not the case anymore. I tried reducing memory to other apps, deleting preview files, deleting autosaves, turning off autosave altogether, deleting Adobe Premiere 8.0 preference file, changing permissions, basically everything in this post: Re: Adobe Premiere Pro CC keeps crashing... (Which now also seems totally neglected by Adobe).
Believe me, there's hardly a thing I haven't tried.
It's getting REALLY frustrating now and it's time something is done about this. Yes I know, "don't just say it's frustrating, explain the problem", but that fase has passed now. I'm paying for this product and it needs to work like it should.
Also I know I'm not the only one who's having these problems.
My specs are:
OS X Yosemite 10.10.1
MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)
2,3 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB

Definitely do not update Premiere Pro or OS X when in the middle of a project. Wait until it's complete. If you did either or both of these things, you can cause your project to become corrupt. After your current project is wrapped, test with a brand new project.

Previews AKA the Media Cache are your "render files." They can become corrupt, so it's a good idea to trash them when troubleshooting. You can locate them via your Preferences > Media. Click the Browse button.

Wat is meant by line item. Where it is going to be View. Wat is the use of line item.

If there is a huge amount of data for any char and if the size of the dimension table is more than 20% size of the fact table , Then we can flag the dimension as line item dimension . By this reporting performance increases, as there won't be dim id generated , sid will be placed in key part of the fact table by which one table search operation decreases and increases the lin item dimension
This you can see in display of the cube , under that click on dimension, you can find the flag.
For checking the ratio please use the std prog - SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS .

WAD reports: download to excel

Hi,
When you download your report data to excel, is there some kind of option available so that the user cannot change the data inside the excel? Or some kind of thing in the document that states that this data is original/changed. Does such a mechanism exist that can say that the data is original when you download it via the web report?

now the output is stored in excel and if user changes this data then this change will reflect at local pc of ur user

lets say ur query is runing thru webtemplate ww
now ur user x download the query execution thru excel to his pc xx
now if user changes this excel it will only happen at his pc xx
now if user forwards this changed excel then and only then this change spreads
otherwise watever the query execution is going to be it will remain same at all pc's
in short user can change excel at their respective pc's
if it is assigned to u to send the downloaded excel from wad to different user communities
then after downloading u can secure the excel document
u can download say result aa on day 1
after downloading use Tools in tabs and then select Options and then in dialog box u can select Security and set the password to open the document, to change the document etc.
u can set password to edit the document
this way ur forwarded excel will not get changed
or if ur doubt is if user change data in excel dowloaded from wad , does it change data at infoprovider then the answer is NO.
the data at infoprovider will not be changed.

SceneBuilder 1.1-b18 stubs an items list for ChoiceBox elements

In Scene Builder, I placed a ChoiceBox and gave it an fx:id.
In the "controller" class:
@FXML ChoiceBox<UserGroup> userGroupCB;In the "initialize()" method of the "controller", I set a StringConverter for the choice box so that it would display the "name" property of the domain object:

        ....Prior to setting this converter, I had added a toString() method to the UserGroup and everything worked just fine without the converter. However, I really didn't want to default to using the toString() method, so I set the converter.
Boom! Crash! A ClassCastException occurred when setting the converter in the "initialize()" method. Scratch head, pull hair.
By chance, I looked at the FXML in an XML editor and discovered that Scene Builder had stubbed out an <item> list!

      <items>
        <FXCollections fx:factory="observableArrayList">
          <String fx:value="Item 1" />
          <String fx:value="Item 2" />
          <String fx:value="Item 3" />
        </FXCollections>

    </ChoiceBox>So, yeah, of course, unbeknownst to me, it was expecting a String and I was specifying a UserGroup in the converter! (See also the @FXML ChoiceBox<UserGroup> ivar above.) Silly me.
Why is Scene Builder stubbing out this <item> list?! There's no reason for it.
Note that it does the same thing for ComboBox.
I suppose that when I invoke "setItems()" on this choice box [this occurs outside the initialize() method because the values in the choice box are context sensitive, but always UserGroup items], but I shouldn't have to work around what shouldn't be a problem in the first place.
Does anyone else think this is unexpected behind the scenes behavior for Scene Builder?

SceneBuilder 1.1 + WebView

Hi,
I am seeing an issue with FXMLLoader buidling a scene graph that contains a WebView. The trace below shows that a method is being looked for that doesn't exist in WebViewBuilder, according to the API documentation.
The method in question does exist in WebView. Despite this, the WebView appears and works.

I have tried ticking and clearing the option in Scene Builder's WebView properties, regarding contextMenuEnabled, but this has no effect on the above.

I didn't got wat u meant by binding the attribute.
I tried another way.
I had a OAButtonBean GO
I have 2 messagechoices one for month and another for year
So in page A in month it shows Jan in starting (till Dec) and in year it shows 2006 as per the picklist view attribute. Also I have attached the VO and view attribute for both the messagechoices.
Now in the setDestination of the GO button i have url of my pageB with retainAM=Y and target frame as _blank.
So i select "Oct" from messageChoice and year as 2006 and click GO but still when it goes to pageB and when i try System.out.println(<the view object attribute value>)
i get "Jan" instead of "Oct". Below is the code in pageB i am using to get the value of the month from VO

Integrate polygons in a photo

Hello,
I'm trying to make a image preview of a street decoration for an event through photo editing.
I have a photo of the street and want to add vector images of what the decoration would look like with Adobe Fireworks.
Basically I just want to add single color cloth triangles in the street top (like a semi-roof).
I've created triangle vectors and distorted them to fit the photo angle (although very badly).
However with just that it looks ridiculous. I need to edit the triangles inside color to make it look like they are in the right position and angle. I think I need to add some sort of shading but I'm not sure.
Can you please give me some hints? Or if you have no idea, could you point me to a forum where the users may be able to help me out?

Normally, when an iView set to anonymous users is opened(with the full pcd path), it opens up in a page directly without the role being displayed. (Like wat happens in the preview of an iView)
But when the quick link is used, it drills down the role and shows the iView. Is there any way to avoid the role being shown in this case?
