OP, I feel your pain and can relate all too well. Unfortunately, at least in my area, this seems to be the norm with FiOS. In addition, billing problems are so abundant that I could probably write a novel about them, including the two Better Business Bureau complaints that I filed against Verizon for charging me for equipment and services that I never requested nor received!! The best by far was when Verizon kept insisting that I needed to pay for a tech to visit my house to retrieve the second M-card they "had" to install in my TiVo HD. I told the tech probably 10 times while he was at my house originally that only one M-card was needed because that's the whole point of a M-card! Despite this, he insisted on installing two. He left, I removed the second and unnecessary M-card, called Verizon to return the card and that's when they told me there were going to charge me for a service call (I think $75!) to pick up the extra card that I was returning. I literally had to fight with them to get them to let me ship back the extra card rather than having to pay for a tech to pick it up. Don't even get me started on how I had to pay for shipping and then how Verizon continued to charge me for the second card for no less than 6 months after I had confirmation that the extra card was delivered to Verizon.
Depsite all this, I would NEVER go back to Comcast!!!!!

No its not a big issue.......maybe annoying but DW has never been design view fully compliant.
Depends how you write your css, what css you use as to if design view will give you a faithfull 100% representation of how you want it to look.
The more complex the page in terms of construction and coding the less likely DW design view will cope.

How do you watch and record a live h.264 stream at the same time using fmis and FMLE?

I've read all the similar post but could not find a solution that actually works, and please no "just use the dvr or record on the FMLE suggestions" as neither will work for me.
Some posts I've read suggest naming the stream in the FMLE to something like mp4:mystream.mp4 or mp4:mystream.f4v but then you can no longer view the stream, and according my the admin console the stream will not even publish using this syntax.
I can view the published stream if I name the FMLE stream to something like mystream.mp4 or just mystream, but then it doesn't record at all or records as a FLV file depending on how I code the main.asc file.
Here's one version of my main.asc, this one correctly publishes the live stream after the client triggers the joinStreams function but will not record it.

    Subscriber Settings:
          Server URI : "rtmp://myServer/myApp"          Stream name: livestream
          Mode: "live" ( i.e. ns.play("livestream",-1,-1,true)
Playing VOD H.264 file:
     Subscriber settings:
          Server URI : "rtmp://myServer/myApp"
          Stream name: if file name is "sample", use "mp4:sample", if file name is sample.f4v, use "mp4:sample.f4v"
          Mode: "record" ( i.e. ns.play("mp4:sample.f4v",0,-1,true)
For DVR (Record-in-progress stream)
If you are using FMLE and want to use "Record" option of FMLE then you need to have to dvrcast_origin application and subscrier needs to FLVPlayback 2.5 component
If you want to use that option, do let me know i will give details later.
For now we will use simple server-side code and FMLE as publisher.

In the future, there won't be any Flash. Adobe, who makes it, has cancelled future versions for mobile devices like the iPad:

You should check if there is another way to get the live stream. For example, I sometimes watch online classes on a site that uses Flash for the video. But they also provide a non-Flash video stream that can be watched in an iPhone or iPad web browser, and an iOS app that you can also use to watch the stream.

I finally got someone who informed me my box didnt have the right software but would take 7 days due to the fact it removes all recording on device. Even though I have no recordings it was still going to take 7 days. This wasnt acceptable to me as I had spend the last 2 weeks trying to sort it out.
In the end through complaints I have a youview box winging its way by monday. At least I then have a modern box with the right software. The delivery of this only takes 2 days.
As has been said, the silver box is useless for sport and must be changed. I would recommend a youview box personally as it doesnt tie you to bt when your contract is up. I'll let u know if I get sport on monday with the youview box.

Cannot watch live streaming video

I am trying to use Quick Time to watch live streaming video. However, when I click on the link, I get the following sequence:
"Negotiating"
"Waiting for media"...with a countdown
"Switching transports"...this goes on for a long time
"Disconnected"
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Quick Time and the problem persists. Any suggestions for this techno-laggard? Thanks!

Some additional information:
Although I initially get a "Connecting" message (at the appointed hour), it then changes to "Switching Transport" and then to "Disconnected." Alternately, if I try to copy the URL from the website into the Quick Time "Open URL" option on the File menu, I get an error message that says, Error 47, Invalid URL.

I just wanted to follow this up by saying that you were entirely correct in your diagnosis of the situation. My computer did have the faulty part you linked to. I brought my laptop in and specifically told them to run that test, had it fail and then argued with the person at the genius bar and the manager. Eventually they offered to have it sent out and have everything replaced for free of charge. They did so mainly because I had complained about graphical issues almost every other time I had come in with problems and no one ran the test. They should have caught this problem during my warranty, but they didn't, even though I mentioned the problem.
Anyhow, after having the part replaced, I haven't had my computer crash a single time since, or had many of the issues mentioned above. I've never had this experience before. Even brand new, I got occasional crashes. Hopefully this new trend continues.
I do find that web browsing is still incredibly slow. Web browsers just chug along at a slow pace, even though I have great internet speed. Maybe I'll try just deleting my web browsers and reinstalling them...

Unable to watch live streaming on nrl app

Have not being able to watch the live streaming on nrl app hasn't been working this whole season.. Will not load, have wifi and fast internet.. Continually being charge for a service that isn't working.

Thanks. Availability of live match videos is based on broadcaster times. This means that all Fox Sports matches are live and availability of Channel Nine matches is based on broadcaster times. Channel 9 games will be broadcast at the same time as the free to air signal in your territory and therefore may be delayed.
That means for QLD, the Broncos vs Knights is Live, with the Rabbitohs vs Sea Eagles delayed and in NSW it is the reverse.

Why can't I watch a live streaming

Yesterday I watched a live streaming webinar on my "new ipad" all day. Then went to continue watching it and I get just the loading circle. I then downloaded ustream, and it will play in low res, which defeats the beauty of the retina display! Any reason it would work from the safari browser one day and now the next? I am connected with high speed internet using wifi.

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details like what browser you use and so on. And you may get more suitable answers in the Flash Palyer forum in the first place.

I have no sound when watching videos on you tube or live streaming. If I switch to Linux everything is fine in firefox on this system but nothing with firefox in windows. If I use internet explorer everything is fine again, which seems to me to say that the problem lies within firefox 36. Can anyone help with this problem?

Tried that with the same result. I can't understand why it works with Linux (Ubuntu) and not Windows. IE works as well but I prefer to use Firefox, so I guess I'll just have to switch browsers when playing videos - weird.
