Watch folders is not working in elements 12

I'm using Elements 12 and the watch folder was working great until today. I have removed it and put it back. Still nothing. Can anyone help?

You can also use refine edge once you've selected the object, which does a fine job, but is very fiddly to learn to use.

As to your issue, Apple does not and never has made a wristwatch as such. The only thing close to a watch that they have made was the 6th-generation iPod nano:

which has a clock feature and which some people have worn as a wristwatch. Is that what you mean?

Have you tried starting to the editor and going to Help -> Updates ?
What camera produces the RAW images?
What error do you see?

Why does Flickr share not work in Elements 9?

Why does the Organizer not work with Elements 12 on my Mac?

My wife has a Mac (OSX 10.6.8) and I recently bought her Elements 12. The organizer does not work on it? Is there any plan to have it work? I was told by a friend that support should be able to get it work for me.

I updated to Mavericks (10.9.3) and the organizer now appears to work.
However, it is extremely slow in previewing photos that were already on
the Mac and does not appear to be able to download photos from a Canon
5DIII. It appears to start but then spins and spins. It ran overnight
and was unresponsive this morning.
Do you have any ideas as to what to do to make this work?

Blur tool not working in elements 11

I tried resetting 11.0 in %appdata% to a new name and then restarted elements. This worked before (several times) but did not work this time. Any thoughts? It seems to be a very fickle tool.

Click in the tools pallet and select your tool, then go to the Tool Options bar at the bottom of the workspace. Click on the dropdown list to the right and choose Reset Tool.

Photomerge panorama not working in elements 11

Hi:
I cannot make the photomerge panorama function work in elements 11. It simply
generates the standard Window 7 error message and when it can't find a solution
the program closes. In previous versions ( 9 and 10) it always worked and never
caused a problem.
Attempting to rebuild the preferences file as suggested for a similar problem affecting
earlier versions was also done but to no avail. Its a function I use quite frequently so
until it is resolved I will keep using version 10.
Anyone have a solution for this anomaly??

The error message pops up right away and is generated by Windows not PSE. The java script that generates the familiar combo box that gives you the various panorama options for merging doesn't even have a chance to get started. The scripting support plugin is in Photoshop Elements 11>Required>Plug-Ins>Automate. This location is a change from the previous versions.

Back and forth with two finger in folders does not work

It is sad, that back and forth with two fingers does not work in Itunes, Folders, or somewere else than in Safari. You can put the settings back thwo three fingers but than you cannnot mark text with three fingers. It would be nice just to use two finger everywher to go back an forth

Trash, Sent mail, and Junk mail folders do not work

I just switched from my entourage email to mac's mail, and I noticed some problems that I cannot seem to figure out. I amm using IMAP based email, and had none of these problems on entourage, but I like the format of mail better, so i hope to get this resolved so I can keep using mail.
1. Trash- When I delete an email it does not go to the trash folder like it did in entourage, but rather just disappears and I cannot find it anywhere. This is regardless of if I try and store it on the server or not. Either way, the deleted messages disappear.
2. Sent mail- I may know why this is not working, at least I have heard a possible explanation. When I send an email, it will not go to the default sent-mail folder on my IMAP server, and so disappears unless I tell mail not to store them on the server (but there are obvious disadvantages to not having the mail stored on the server). I think this has to do with the fact that the sent mail folder on my IMAP client has to be set to sent-mail, while I hear Mail requires it to be just Sent.
3. Junk mail- When I mark messages as junk mail, the program does not move them to the junk mail folder, neither in mail nor on the IMAP server.
Now I have gone through as many of the options I can find to try and resolve this, but I have it all set up the same way I did in entourage, and cannot figure out why it is not working. Does it have to do with the naming of the folders for my IMAP service? Those seem to be default and unable to change. My Trash is labeled "trash", Sent mail is labeled "sent-mail", and junk mail is labeled "Junk".

1. When not stored on the server, the account's Trash mailbox should be located under the Trash icon in the mailboxes drawer if "Move deleted messages to the Trash mailbox" is selected under the Mailbox Behaviors tab for the account preferences.
If you have this selected, using the Finder go to Home > Library > Mail > Mailboxes. Within the Mailboxes folder should be a folder named
Deleted Messages (name of your IMAP account in parenthesis).mbox
Confirm the folder includes the .mbox extension.
2. When you select "Store sent messages on the server", select your IMAP account's Sent mailbox under your IMAP account's icon in the mailboxes drawer which is sent-mail and at the menu bar, go to Mailbox > Use This Mailbox For and select Sent.
3. Do you have Junk Mail set to Automatic?

Add people analysis not working in Elements 11

Hello,
The Add People feature has stopped working in Elements 11. I just get the message "no new people found in your selection". Yet, when i open a picture there will be faces that are marked in the photo awaiting tagging. I have thousands of photos and having to open each one individually just to tag faces is not why i purchased this software. It worked well in version 10 and was much better in 11 until it stopped working.
It worked great until about 3 weeks ago. I have not changed any settings on my end. I have followed the directions on the following threads:

I have reset to default settings
I renamed the psa.prf, status.dat and the peoplestatus.dat files.
Neither of those have worked. Short of uninstalling and re-installing i am at my wits end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please see if following works:
1. In your catalog folder, rename 'BreezeSession.dat' file (Catalog folder location can be found by Help->System Info) and see if that helps.
2. Select the image in small batch and then click on 'add people'.

Stacks not working on Elements 12 install

Installed new Elements 12 (not upgrade) and converted Elements 9 catalog (no problem indicated on conversion). Stacks and Version stack does not work in converted catalog. Get error "Create Stack Failed" and when creating version from edit save, new file is not stacked or added to catalog but file is created. Stacks from original 9 ctalog were converted and can be expanded and contracted. What is going on?

Fix or Edit not working in Elements 9 - help

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to Elements so am not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if my program is not working properly. I downloaded PSE 9 last week and went in last night to open up some raw files (my first attempt at shooting raw). I had no problem getting them into the organiser and the first photo I went into Fix and selected Edit full and it opened up the editing program no problem. However, after I closed the photo I couldn't get back in to the edit mode (no matter which photo I tried). If I got out of Elements and went back in and try to select edit from the home page Elements closed down on me.
I found that if I restarted my computer I could then get into the edit section with no problem but the same thing happened - I could only go in and work on one photo and when I closed that photo I couldn't get back in. I minimised all my open files and program in case it was lurking somewhere on my desktop behind everything but no luck. Had to restart my computer again.
What am I doing wrong!!!??

Adobe photoshop elements 13 Watch folder is not working

I am getting a "Watch Folder Service" warning box.
"Please start the Adobe's Active File monitor service from Service manager (Control Panel -> Adminstration Tools -> Service)"
Looks like the “Adobe Active file Monitor V13” is missing.

Have you checked your services panel to see what is running and what is not running? If this particular service isn't running then you can right-click on the column for that service and change it to Automatic as shown in the picture attached here:
The above picture is TAKEN IN Windows 7 so if you are on a Mac then it might look different from the picture I have posted here.

HSL Tuner not working Premiere Elements 11

Hello... After dropping the HSL Tuner onto the selected video clip nothing happens. If I try to click on hue, saturation or luminance I get no response. No slidebar - no options whatsoever. I need to desaturate one color in the video without altering the other colors. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Please excuse the basic questions, but I did not want to take anything for granted in trying to help you to resolve your HSL Tuner problem.
1. After you drag the HSL Tuner Effect into the video clip or screen showing the video clip there, do you then see a HSL Tuner Panel in the Applied Effects Palette after you click on Applied Effect?
2. If you click on the small triangle to the left of "HSL Tuner" name in the panel so that it faces down, are 3 panels revealed to you, those being,
Hue
Saturation
Luminance
If then use the small triangle to the left of the name for each, are the sliders for each option visable?
If no to all of the above, do you find that you get into the same situation with the rest of the effects under Color Correction, such as Split Tone? Are any other Effects similarly affected?
If so, please try deleting the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file found in the Windows 7 or 8 64 bit path:
Local Disk C
Users
Owner
AppData
Roaming
Adobe
Premiere Elements
11.0
and in the 11.0 Folder is the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file that you delete.
Make sure that you are working with Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see the complete path.
Is this issue the type "it worked before but not now" or "it never worked before"?
If the above does not remedy the situation, we can move on to details of your project, including project settings and properties of your source media as well as computer details.

Clone Stamp not working in Elements 5

I have tried the trouble shooting sugestions on page 245 of Photoshop Elements 5, The Missing Manual by Barbara Brundage. However, I have been unable to get my clone stamp to work. Previously the clone stamp was working o.k. Do you have any other suggestions that I might try?
Also, are there some good editing advantages/improvements by upgrading to Elements 7 ?

I held the keys down while starting the editor from the welcome screen and
got the box to delete the preferences. However I have not been able to get
the clone stamp to work. The delete preferences must have worked because my
brushes were changed back to the original setting. I normally use a
different setting to show the brushes as circles. I have been trying to
clone with the Size: 21 ps; Mode: Normal; Opacity: 100% and Aligned checked.
I have tried both checking and unchecking Aligned and Sample All Layers. I
tried a different photo but with the same results. When I Alt click to clone
I get a small circle with something similar to a plus sign in the circle.
The Edit shows an "Undo clone stamp" each time I Alt Click and try to clone
but nothing was cloned.
This is the first time that I've encountered this problem.
