Watch Live sport matches on windows phone browsers

Hi,
Could I get a confirmation on when windows Lumia phones will be able to stream live sport matches via in built browser. Sporting channels like star sports, Espn, etc can be used in other phones to stream live matches but windows phones still lack this ability. I hope this important feature is added to windows phone soon.

It is unlikely that the big sport websites will become fully compatible with Windows phone for video playback soon - but ESPN have made official apps for Windows Phone. Also search for further apps in the "Sports" category in the store.
Older smartphones may still be able to play Flash video used for desktop browsers on some websites, but Flash is no longer developed for mobile devices.

The iPad does not use Flash so you will have to search for a TV app or an app that will stream the content that you want to watch. I have apps stream live content. WatchESPN and CNN are two apps that stream live content. You just have to start searching. Use a Google search for starters.

Just connect the new iPod to your computer and setup the iPod via iTunes (instead of via wifi).

well, i can't really tell if i am only allowed one connection with this isp. basically, whenever i plug in the ethernet cord, all of the information gets filled in in the ethernet section of the network, except for the router info. there is router info filled in on my sister's computer whenever i plug the cord into her computer, though. does that mean i can't also use the modem for my computer? sorry, this is both my first time using a mac and my first time using anything other than dial-up, so i'm pretty lost. thanks for the info you've given me thus far.

Judder/Stutter when watching only live sports...goes away if you rewind the DVR and playback...HELP!

I get this weird judder/stutter when watching live sports. It only happens about 3-5 times a live game. I have done everything under the sun to fix this issue. Cannot figure out why it does it. It almost looks like the broadcast buffers for a split second or the signal drops. Movies, TV shows, video games, blu rays, 3D all look perfect. Here is my troubleshooting list:
-Exchanged TV (Samsung 240hz 3D LED TV)
-New coax cables ran through the house.
-Adjusted every setting on the STB
-Adjusted every setting on the TV
-Tried new splitters
-New HDMI cables
-Switched the cable box with the one upstairs.
-Tried every HDMI port
-Tried Component cables.
If I plug directly into the TV with the coax cabe PROBLEM SOLVED. No judder/stutter. Once I go back into the STB the problem starts again. Also if I rewind the DVR and playback the broadcast the judder/stutter is also gone.
Please help before I pull whats left of my hair out!

To download App World via the browser, you will need to use Internet Explorer since the plugin will not run in Firefox or Safari.
If you have access to a PC you can download App World via www.blackberry.com/appworld.
NOTE: You will need to have a data plan on your BlackBerry to use App World! Even if you try to connect through Wi-Fi it will still look for a data connection with your Mobile Network.

HuiZone TV for Blackberry has good reviews on BBW.
The other apps are android and has to be sideloaded if you have OS 10.2

I am developing a Windows phone 8.1 silverlight app.
I want to add live streaming youtube channel , thats why I used https://phonesm.codeplex.com/ this link as a reference , and I am able to play the links given in the samples, but I am unable to play my link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2GF-QQS6n0
I am getting 3108 unable to play media error with my link,
My question Is there any need of streaming server ?
If yes can anyone help how to create the streaming server.

You may need check into the call stack and find out what is the root cause, for instance if there any chance that your phone cannot reach to the video address, and did you enable some network capabilities, etc.

I am developing a windows phone 8.1 silverlight app. In my I want to show live streaming youtube channel , I think it is not possible,
Actually that youtube channel is a television channel , I want to stream that live tv in my app.(I tried to load youtube channel in webbrowser in iframe tag but it is not opening)
Anybody help me how to play live tv or live streaming in my app,

Hello,
You will likely need to write a custom
MediaStreamSource that can access the media stream and parse it. Windows Phone supports h.264 natively and as long as the site serves up a media stream that contains h.264 frames you can parse it and have our built in decoder decode and display it. You
will need to have intimate knowledge of the streaming protocol used by the website that you are trying to play. You must also make sure that the website is not using protected content. IANAL so I would recommend that you have your local law professional
(lawyer) review the licensing of the website that you are attempting to connect to and stream from before continuing your development. Your lawyer can make sure make sure their licensing allows you to do this.

Unable to watch BT Sport Live programs on my Mac M...

I have a valid account and can watch BT Sport live on my daughter's macbook air, using google Chrome, but on my Mac Mini running OSx 10.6.8 it won't work on safari, firefox or chrome. I've uninstalled and re-installed MS silverlight, as requested, and emptied the cache of each browser, but no joy.
1. On safari 5.1.10 when I try to watch live, the screen remains blank.
2. On firefox 32.0.2 it just keeps telling me to install Silverlight, even after I have done so, and then re-started firefox.
3. On chrome 37.0.2062.122 it gives me a vcr019 error and err 6003, which the BT support page says means silverlight isn't working with my computer, which may be due to a setting.
BT say that as it works fine on the Macbook air I have, that it must be a setting or settings on the mac mini and I need to refer to vendor but it was bought late 2009 so is out of support.
Anyone had similar problems and can advise what to try?

Check out this link for help with BT Sport online player error messages the suggestions for this problem is to reset your computers time and also clear the browser's cache.

Can't watch NBC sports live extra

I am watching NBC sports right now. ManU vs Stoke and saw the advertisement about nbc sports live extra and it's ability to let you watch live on ur iPad. I downloaded the app and got his msg:
To watch videos, you will need to subscribe to FiOS TV with NBCSPORTS
How is that so when I am watching it on the TV at this moment?

I found out what to do. Verizon Live Chat's agent told me to uninstall and reinstall the NBC Sports Live Extra app on my iPad. I did that. When I did, I found that it still remembered that Verizon FiOS is my TV provider, so I didn't have to sign back in. And live feeds now work!
