Besides hopefully getting a Slingplayer soon, there's [Orb|http://www.orb.com/en/orblive].
Orb requires a tuner on your home computer with broadband. Sling requires either their Solo or Pro boxes with broadband.
As for just watching TV from other than your own home, perhaps someone else knows of an app or a website. Usually this requires having Flash.

No way to watch LIVE tv on a Laptop? WHY??!!

Ok, so Fios allows you to watch LIVE TV via Iphone or Android App - no problem. Why does fios advertise that you can watch LIVE TV via computer while I spoke to 3 reps and they say that there is no way to watch LIVE TV on the computer like they have it set up on the Phone APPs.
I think that is really stupid and it makes no sense. Why can I watch it on the Ipod or my galaxy phone but I can not on the computer. There is no link, no software to download, no way to watch it online. All you can watch online are shows - not live broadcast.
Maybe someone has a link to where I can watch live TV on the computer??!!! (I understand that Im limited to channels I subscibe)

I don't think what was said was a ridiculous statement. Most channels offer streaming through their site. It's not hard to go to a website and sign in with your Fios info to view it, however I don't know why you or anyone else would say you can't watch live tv through Fios itself. All you have to do is go here. http://tv.verizon.com/
Thise are the 2 options.
Not all channels are available, but they aren't available on all providers either. Not even TWC offers all channels to be viewed online.
I'll also add to this. If you don't like what Verizon has to offer call the 1800 number, connect to retention, cancel service, then call someone else who can provide you with the services you want. Simple.

I had the same problem with my iphone 4S, ios 7.1.2. The wifi button was grayed out for some time now. I tried several methods that I found in various forums, including the reset of network settings, airplane mode, fridge and more. NOTHING!
Then I finally did what I wanted to avoid - the heating method, and it worked as follows:
1. iPhone turned on, I held a hair dryer close to it while keeping the screen on and watching it while heating the iphone with the hair dryer.
2. When the temperature warning came up on the screen, I put the iphone aside to cool up in room temperature (shut off the display). I turned it on/off couple of times until I saw that the warning was gone and normal screen came back.
3. The wifi was still grayed out.
4. I then did the network settings reset,
iphone wifi was back to normal!!

you have an 8mb connection with the correct profile and mor than sufficient throughput/download speed. how are you connecting to your router with pc and tv - wired or wireless. if wireless sounds like you may have a weak signal from your wireless router and maybe changing the channel will help.
you can try downloading inssider2 (istumbler if MAC) and then run it. This will show the broadcasting networks round about you and their channels including your own. If you then enter your router and change your wireless channel to a free or less congested channel.

If it is just a webinar you can log into using Safari it shouldn't be a problem. If the webinar provider is using Flash no you can't, iOS doesn't support Flash.
If you need an app to log in such as GoToMeeting or WebEx there seems to be apps for them.

QuickTime Player is not itself able to do this. You need a proper DVD authoring solution such as Apple's iDVD.

Edge has very clear restrictions, one being that you must have 6 months of clean payment history which you don't. Either wait until April 14, or good luck at Sprint.
I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions.
