"WATCH THIS" ISN'T WORKING

Since a couple of months I've noticed that the "Watch this topic" checkbox hasn't been working, at least for me .. I am using IE 6.0.28

    Yes, I know this forum has users like me and it's not Apple. I was only venting and, showing my frustration for Apple. You said if I wanted more help I need to give more info...
    What kind of info? like what kind of Apple computers I have? the specs? etc. I know I need Itunes on a PC as well to add movies to my Iphone 4s but, I also have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and, that phone all I do is Plug it in to my PC and from there on it's really easy because it gives me the option to let my PC see it as a external HDD to where I can litteraly drag my movies that I want into it.. And, boom! I'm done. With Apple is like oh my god, you need this you need that you need the other thing.. Blah Blah Blah LOL.... But, I'm a stubborn bull and I want to add movies to my Iphone 4s. So, what I do is the following, I plug in my iphone 4s to my macbook pro and Itunes launches by itself, then I click on the iphone 4s on the upperr right corner, right after a list appears with all my music, then I click on where it says Movies on the upper left, then I try to drag a movie into the list and there's an error message that appears telling me that the movie wasn't copied to my iphone because it can't be played.... at this point I gave up and here I am asking for help.
    I don't what info you want, I have a iphone 4s, a macbook pro wth OSX Mavericks, 2.6 GHz Intel Core !7 8 GB ram... I also have a Imac which I have put away since we just moved in so, I can't remember the specs but it's about 2 - 3 years older than my macbook pro...  Apple seems easy to use when it comes to graphic design, video editing and, working with audio... When it comes to multimedia, it seems not so great. I hope this is enough info... If not just ask me what you guys would need to know.. Thanks for your help... I appreciate it, hopefully I can master the use of Apple just like PC.

    You have to download and RUN the iPhoto library upgrade - then launch iPhoto - If you had iPhoto '08 or earlier (version 7.x.x) - the upgrade is installed in the utilities folder of your Applications folder

  • When I got the error message, "msvcr80.dll" and it said to uninstall iTunes and all other apple products I did that. I've reinstalled iTunes several times and I continue to get the message, "apple application support not found". This isn't working. Help.

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes several times and each time it says to re-install iTunes but it doesn't solve the problem. I've been trying to get this to work all day and I'm extremely frustrated. Someone please help me with this. I've done all the reserach on how to fix this and nothing has worked. I just get the same message over and over again.

    When I go do download iTunes I get a screen that says, "The feature you are tyring to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." Then is says "Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package iTunes64.msi in the box below". I click "OK" and it says that the path cannot be found. Don't know what do to here.
    Sounds like at least two different things are happening to you at once here.
    Steps for dealing with the "network resource" message, follow:
    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

  • Making a complex button with the Tween class...not sure why this isn't working.

    I'm trying to make a button which scales up on rollover and
    scales down on rollout and I wanted to use the Tween class to do it
    because I'm going to be making a bunch of these buttons and I want
    the code to be as efficient as possible.
    So right now I have a circle in a movie clip, and here's what
    I have on the first frame of that circle's actions layer:

    The circle scales up just fine but when I rollout it doesn't
    scale back down. I did a trace to see if my tween was being called
    and sure enough it was. So I did another trace to see if the
    _xscale or _yscale was changing and they both were going down to
    around 290 on rollOut although there's no noticeable difference in
    the size of the button, it just looks like it's sitting there.
    I was also wondering if importing the whole class library
    will add very much to my file size?
    Also, since I'm going to have a lot of these buttons on the
    stage at the same time (these buttons will be like markers all over
    a map so there'll probably be around 50+) would it be a bad idea to
    have that many onEnterFrame checks running simultaneously? Is that
    going to slow the user's CPU way down?

    I tried your code and got the rollOut to work but the button
    blinks rapidly if the user rolls out and then rolls back in
    quickly. Here is a link to the swf:

    It also has to reach a complete stop the first time the
    button expands or else it won't run the shrink function on rollOut.
    I put all of my code on the first frame of the movie clip's

  • TS1814 I'm trying to do the software update on my iPad, it says I'm not connected to the Internet when I am. Any reasons this isn't working?

    Hi I'm trying to update the software version 6.1.2 but it is not letting me saying I'm not connected to the Internet when I am any answers to why this is happening?

    See if either of these work. Restart and try again or reboot and try again.
    Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

    Please forgive me if this is the wrong forum/area,  I am new here/first post.
    I recently have been trying out XCODE and learning Objective-C.  Coming from a background
    of Microsoft Basic 2.0, it's been a challenge to say the least!
    Here's what I wrote so far,  it's a basic 'wager/dice' game.  I basically want the game
    to keep repeating until the player runs out of money (I know I still have to program
    that into the 'while' function, so I defaulted it for 10 times in the interim). 
    Here's what I need to figure out:
    - The "While" loop is working, yet the 'cash' constantly resets to 1000 each time it starts again. I tried
    {bracketing} the functions, but whether I win/lose the dice rolls, it always resets to 1000
    There's a bunch more things I need to figure out, but if someone can tell me why the 'cash'
    keeps reseting to '1000' each time,  I'd greatly appreciate it!

    I try to run this but it won't work.

    I am using 0 for the indexes just to see if I can get something in them. Then I try to see if anything has been put in them by calling :

    I declared an array of 50 objects like this.

    I have a class (CIS) in a package that I have imported. I am trying to get the scores of the individual tests in to the scores[] array found in that class I have imported.

    Well, you don't say what your problem actually is, other than "it won't work", but one thing you should be aware of is thatCIS[] cArray = new CIS[50]; doesn't create an array of 50 CIS objects. Rather, it creates an array that can REFERENCE 50 CIS objects. You still have to create each object as you need it. So if you are getting a NullPointerException, that's because you needcArray[0] = new CIS(); before you use cArray[0].

    This is free. However, I allways convert my video files to MPEG1 first using a program called AV One Gold which is not free. Then after that I convert the MPEG1 files to iPod suitable files using Videora. Never failed.

    I can download and view files, but can't upload anything. Any ideas why not? Please help, O Mac experts!

    I created a webdav server on my mac. It is working, however when I upload files, (with the finder), the permissions are not set were I can write. So if I try to copy a folder, the contents will not copy. I have learned that umask can overcome this. However I have not found how to enable a umask_module in apache.
    I have tried Transmit 3.2.1 and it is inconvienent, because it does not mount a Volume like the finder would. I coppied the same folder. It shows that it has the same permissions as the folder I uploaded with the finder. drwxr-x--- . However the contents are coppied in the folder.
    Another stange thing, If I try to manually copy the contects after the folder and contents failed, then it works. So it looks like I do have write (w) rights.

  • I keep gettin updates from my app store but yet when I go in and update all it starts the update and then pops up and tells me that the application cannot be downloaded at this time. I have had to delete a few apps bc this isn't working.

    First check that your device is not full, maybe you may have to delete some photos or apps to make space to do updates. if its not full then you will have to try pluging it into your pc/mac running itunes then doing a backup and restore. Then you should be able to do your updates.
    Sorry but i cant think of any other way if its showing as installed already but is not there.

  • When I try to connect a monitor with a thunderbolt to hdmi from the back of my thunderbolt monitor nothing happens. When I plug in the cable directly to my Mac mini it works great... Any idea this isn't working?

    Well pretty much the title sums it up, but I'm required to type something here so here is some words. (Please excuse frantically errors since I'm working from my phone).

    You can't connect a non-Thunderbolt display or adapter directly to the port on the back of a Thunderbolt display.  It will work if you connect a Thunderbolt disk drive (with two Thunderbolt ports) between the two displays.

    I have deleted some of the trouble songs, and they still show up as being downloaded to my computer.
    The songs are the following:

    A Million Years by Alexander
    Behold the Hurricane by The Horrible Crowes

    This happens waaaaaaaaaay too much.  Apple *****.

    Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from the music section of your iTunes library (using iTunes, not Windows Explorer), close and then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchasedlink from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Musicand Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
    While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sureAllow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
    If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

  • HT1204 This isn't working - I am using iTunes 11.0.4 and an iPod Classic 120 GB.  I have double the amount of music.  I hate manually picking songs, so I want iTunes to randomly pick.  Does this not work anymore?

    Help please!  I just want to be able to sync my iPod without having to manage.  My playlists have also gotten too big!  I don't have time to edit, and I don't see my iTunes can't just fill with random songs.

    This article outlines how to enable that setting, although it references a different iPod product, the steps are the same.

  • Need help resizing photos - confused as to why this isn't working

    Hi - I have a customer looking for photos to be 1024x683 and 360x240.  I sized my artboard in Illustrator to those dimensions, dropped in the photo and resized it to fit.  Saved file.  When running cursor over file name - blip comes up and says file size dimensions are 1504 x919 for example (they're all different) and these are examples on the ones that I sized for 360x240.  If anyone can respond that would be great as I'm supposed to have about 100 files out overnight tonight!  Thanks!...h

    You can use save for web, just don't forget to turn on clip to Artboard. Otherwise items off the artboard would make your document larger. An artboard not filled short of the EXACT edges, would also make your document smaller.
    If you need a different format, use export but check use arboards there and then choose screen resolution.
