N95 Help Application not working!

i have trouble with my N95 Help Application,
it dose'nt work, i can only run it, and see the main list,
i did'nt complain before cause i hardly used it!
but now, when i use help from other software, i get the same error "
message Memory Full. Close some applications and try again."
i have the latest firware!
what could be causing this!

I have the same problem - no in any applications or using the Help application itself.
Of possible interest ?>: is a 'help folder' I have with a name displayed in the Help application as 4x boxes.
Using: -Menu -Tools -Utilities -Help
...I have an odd looking file listed at the end (after 'ZipManager' & before '3-D ringing tones'). The name is displaying as 4 x boxes - presumably non display characters ?>
Is this folder on all N95s ? (i.e even those with a working Help) ?
Anyone know how/where to locate this folder ?

I want to add Narration to my movies. I've watched the Elements Guided Help for Narration, and closely followed their procedure. But when I click the RECORD tab, I get an error message. "Your current audio hardware selection dos not have any input channels." My question, therefore: Do I need to buy an external microphone? I have an HP Pavilion Laptop, running WIndows 8.1. I thought I had a built-in microphone. But ,maybe not. Please help. Also, WHAT KIND of microphone - exactly - should I buy? Thanks for your help.

Go to Edit Menu/Preferences/Audio Hardware and ASIO tab and click on it.
Under the Input tab, make sure that you have your microphone selected.

Help also I think it might have to do with my wifi but I'm not sure. Sometimes I also try to skip to sections of a vid and it just lags for ages and nothing happens.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.

Its so frustrating - I met Steve in 1984, did Mac stuff for years: I can see him, watched Mac rumors earlier, but there is no sound . . . When I use iTunes the sound is fine . . . HELP!!!

9 Button not working properly on my N95 - help ple...

Hello all,
I'm new here and have a Nokia N95.
Whenever I am texting and press the 9 button, it immediately acts like the red button you press to terminate a call, and goes to the normal screen, you then have to go back into messages and it will be there saved in drafts.
Also, when i dial a number, if i press the 9 button it clears the screen, just as it would if you pressed the red button.
Sometimes if you press the red button - a 9 comes up.....very strange!!
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this very annoying problem?!

Whilst it might be worth backing up essential data and resetting device to "Out of box" state in a device of this age this issue may well be hardware related rather than software unfortunately.

Don't think that's available on N-Series phones - you'd have to check for 3rd party apps

Not available on N-Series either - you need a 3rd party app like TimeMachine (around US$5).

TomTom still doesn't work with the internal GPS - there are rumours of upcoming fixes from TomTom so you should keep checking there site.
Other routing software like Route66 does work with the internal GPS.
If you have an external Bluetooth GPS you might be better off using it anyway as the built-in one is apparently way slow at getting a fix.Message Edited by patc on 01-Nov-200710:44 AM

I'm sure others will disagree, but I'm all about saving $. I would start by looking online at the Apple store for refurbished devices. I would also get MORE memory than yout think you will ever need. The stuff we have seems always to expand to fill the space available. I wouldn't get one with cellular capability unless you really, really need it...

Phones hardly ever "somehow change the language". But anyway, you need to tell what pictures you are seeing so we can give you the directions to reset the language.

In the Forte Project Explorer, click on the FileSystems tab. Right-click on the top-level node ("FileSystems") and select "Mount Jar" from the context menu. Navigate to j2ee.jar and select it. The jar should then show in the list of FileSystems.
The imports should then be found.

i have an nokie n95 i also have a wireless router. when i try and connect it comes up with no gate way reply whats wrong??? please help me

Try this:
Set up the wireless connection (I think you have already done this)
Then, on your PC go to Start, Run, and type in cmd (enter)
At the DOS prompt type in "ipconfig/all"
Look for your wireless connection and write down the "default gateway" of your wireless connection (this is the IP address of your router/access point).
Then write down the subnet mask (usually 255.255.255.0)
Phone your internet service provider and ask for the primary and secondary DNS.
Now go to your N95, menu, tools, settings, connections,access points, select [your access point name]
After selecting the name of your access point, go to options, advanced settings, IPV4.
enter an IP address for your phone (e.g. 10.0.0.135) - this can be any IP address, as long as it is unique (numbers cannot exceed 255)
enter the subnet mask you recorded earlier.
enter the default gateway you recorded earlier.
enter the primary and secondary DNS given to you by your service provider.
Exit
This should work - it worked for me after struggling for days.

I just got N95 2 days ago and I'm having problems already. After using my phone for about a day. it started to turning off and on automatically. After turning on the screen just freezes and i'm not able to operate anything. Or sometimes the phone does work; however when i press something it restarts again. HELP PLEASE!!

You could do a hard reset although it will change the phone back to the way you got it
To do a hard reset, follow these instructions.
-Backup everything on your phone as the hard reset will erase all of your files
-Press and hold 3, * and call key (green one)
-Press the power key (turns on and off) while holding the ones and let go when you see signs of life
Otherwise I'd take it to a Nokia Care Centre.
