Watching flash movies on E72

Hi I have a Nokia e72 and I was wondering is there any update on flashlite 3 so I could watch flash streaming movies. I was able to watch before using skyfire but I think they have remove there service for symbian phones. Any Ideas?

Nokia doesn't typically provide updates for Flash lite, or at least I have never heard of it happening. When the movie tries to play, do you see an error suggesting that you need a newer version of Flash? The problem could be the player interface itself, not the movie file. If the web site offers a way to play the movie directly without Flash, it's possible that Realplayer, Coreplayer ($$), or some other media player could handle the file format. Can you give an example of a web movie that won't play?

I've tried to watch some flash movies on nokia browser and opera 11 but it said to get flash player. On the link to adobe they don't have symbian os listed there. I've tried to install some versions of adobe flash player, but it said that doesn't support the sis. or on flash lite that it is already there
What can I do? Maybe another browser with flash player support?

E7 does support some flash content but not all, Opera doesn't !! The only browser I had that worked was Skyfire, but it no longer supports Symbian. Hopefully the new browser may have better support ? This video works on E7

But to answer your question, Flash is not supported on any iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod). There are 3rd party apps you can try to use from the App store, but they work with limited success......

Cannot watch flash movie on IE

Greetings Everybody!
Here I have a question about my flash in IE. When I tried to
open an online link embedded with flash movie, I can not see any of
them. I am quite sure flash player 9 was installed properly. Just
want to know whether there is any other settings(flash/IE?) to be
modified?

I dont know why you cannot download and install the Flash Player but you should definitely check the Adobe website:

I have downloaded and installed the flash player from this site and it worked!

Flash movies makes horrible "flickering" sound with new graphic card!

I just bought a Gigabyte GeForce 460 GTX 1GB and now when I watch Flash movies
the movies makes a really bad "flick" flick" "flick" sound. If i scroll down and away from the actuall movie screen
the bad sound stops and the movie plays normally. But soon as I scroll up to the movie the sounds starts again.
Can't stand the bad sound quality anymore!
I tried latest Firefox & Internet Explorer.
I tried uninstall both flash and drivers then reinstall with the latest updates.
I tried searching the web for solutions.
My PC:
HP Pavilion
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.60GHz 360GHz
Memory: 3 GB
System type: 32 bit

Movie Not Loaded. (Flash Movie)

when i visit a particular site to watch flash movie, i get a message saying : "Movie Not Loaded" But when i check the same site on IE or Google Chrome, the movie loads.
This issue started after i updated to the latest Firefox 4.0.1. I had also updated the flash plugins but still the same problem.

I had the same problem. I tried all the solutions above from cor-el without any luck.
But after clearing offline storage, youtube started working again.
Tool -> Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Clean Now (under Offline Storage)

How do I remove flash blocking so that I can watch a movie?

I'm trying to watch a movie and it states that I need to remove flash blocking(I guess advertising) in order for the movie to be able to play.

Have adobe flash 11.9.900 but can't watch online movies.

Since a windows update a couple of days ago I can't watch online movies. I have 64 bit windows 8 and adobe flash 11.9.900. The screen says I have to install adobe flash 10.0 or higher in order to stream a film. I have checked and I have the most recent player.
I have also done every step on the adobe flash troubleshooting page including managing add-ons, disabling active-x, removing cache etc...no change.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, fed up with windows 8 problems.

Just followed the link and I have been on that page before and have seen the animation but this time I couldn't see it. Went to check if activex filtering was on and it was, even though I'd set it as off. It's like the computer keeps changing what's on and off at will.
On youtube, the message install adobe flash 10.0 etc comes up. On any flash games (just clicked on random site to see if it would work) it says I need to install flash. On project free tv again says install flash.
Using ie10.

Slow Flash movies in Safari and Firefox

This issue started right after the software update of Safari 3.2.1 (from 3.2). I'm totally lost, because it does not make any sense to me. The performance on Flash websites with either Safari or Firefox, is extremely slow and stuttering. Fade-ins and outs are no longer smooth, I can even HEAR their "calculating".
What confuses me most is the fact that watching my self-created Flash movies as swf files is perfectly fast and smooth. As soon as they are being viewed in a browser, local on the computer or on a web server, they are slow.
Here's what I already did, and it got somewhat better, but not back to how it was before the software update:
- reset safari, empty cache.
- uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Adobe Flash Player plug in.
- repair disk permissions
- add DNS codes
- I even upgraded the RAM's to the PB's max of 2GB
Anybody got any ideas? I was thinking it might be the video card. But why would the Flash movie show smooth as an swf file but not in a browser?? And why was everything OK before the update?
I read that the video card is part of the logic board. Is it possible to exchange that at all?? This is what's installed: ATI Mobility Radeon 9700, VRAM 64 MB.

I figured out the problem/cure. I had help, though not from this website... However, I thought I'm going to post the solution here, in case someone else is experiencing the same problem! It turned out that it was not the update to the latest Safari (3.2.1), but the latest Adobe Flash player version (10) that caused the bug. Apparently older Mac's (I'm using the 1.5 GHz PowerBook G4 aluminum) cannot handle the latest technology of Flash player 10.
I uninstalled the plugins, using Adobe's Flash player uninstaller, downloaded the Flash player 9 folder here: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14266&sliceId=2 and installed version 9.0.151.0. Repair disk permissions. That's it. Everything is back to normal!!

Embedding flash movie in a web page

I have created a flash movie using actionscript 3 and an xml file with a list of images for a slideshow. After clicking publish, I can view the slideshow by previewing the html file it creates for you. However, I want to embed this flash movie in a different web page. When I try to add it in Dreamweaver, by dragging and dropping the swf file into the page, a flash placeholder is generated, but the movie does not play when previewed. It is just blank white space.
Now I watched the Tom Green tutorials on "flash the easy way" and my flash (CS4 professional) did NOT generate the AC_RunActiveContent.js files. I did find and download the file and manually added it to my Scripts folder. Still no joy.
I will note that the html file that embeds the flash video is in a different directory than the movie itself. Surely this cannot be the issue, otherwise people's websites would be incredibly messy with multiple flash videos. I am trying to put all the flash movies in their own child directories of a /flash directory to keep them neat and organized.
I am not sure what to do next. How do you make the dang thing play on a web page that is in another directory?

If you are loading content ala using an xml file, that may be the source of the problem. When you load a Flash file into a web page, that web page becomes the frame of reference for any files that the swf loads. So if you tested this where the html file was in the same folder, but then moved things into different folders, then you need to adjust the Flash to load things as if it is in the html file's folder

Possible to offer a 640x480 size Flash movie?

My name is Luke Wonderly, and I've used flash 5 a little bit
- in the past.
I just purchased my new copy of CS3, and am beginning to
develop how the work flow for
my project should go.
I have several hundred individual "Dance" moves, that are 6
to 12 seconds long (both real time - and slow motion) shot
on DVC-Pro 720x486 - exported as uncompressed QT movies - in
a current supported Codec.
I would like to deliver them on the internet - both as QT,
and Flash movies.
For the Flash development, my first questions -
2 Questions:
1). Is it possible to deliver an internet Flash Movie at a
640x480 size?
I see tons of references to creating 320x240 sizes - but
what about the larger, physical size?
2) Is it possible to allow a way for my audience to download,
save & keep the Flash movies - to watch later?
If so, how are the way's you folks would do it? (3rd
question).

Ok, I think I understand about file size and bandwidth.
These movies will be offered on line - to paying subscribers.
Each movie teaches a paticular dance move (with 2 different
camera views
one real time, the other view in slow motion) . . plus there
is no Audio .
Only text titles, description & break down.
So the content is for training (monkey see, monkey do), and
needs to be as large as possible - preferably 640x480 . . . .
The clients know that it's not going to be tiny file sizes -
and because each
dance movie is only (average) 8 seconds long - it should
still boil down
to an acceptable, downloadable size . . . .
At least that's what I was hoping for. Thank you for letting
me know that
Flash will at least give me the options.
Of course I'll be doing all kinds of compression level
testing - but I didn't
want to start in a 640 direction - until I could find out
first - if that physical size was even supported.
In reference to question 2, you wrote:

It looked like maybe you got cut off - or that you wanted me
to go to your
web site (using attached link) . . . I searched your site on
the tutorials -
very nice (I know physical size of Flash content &

How to offer your customers the ability to download,
save/keep, and watch the movie(s) later . . . . (but maybe I missed
it).
Do I offer it with a link to a Compressed "Stuff it" flash
player file.
Is there just a simpler way?
And then, what happens when the customer actually double
clicks the
file that's on their computer . . . . . does it engage the
browser, then the flash plug in - then
begin playing it ?
I'm just not sure how it should be done - so that it will
really work.

OSX Adobe Reader and Flash Movies

Hi,
first of all, sorry for my bad english :-)
I put two Flash-Movies to a PDF. One of them is a simple Text-Animation, the other one is a Image-Viewer. The Image-Viewer gets the Image Data from a XML File, that's hostet on our Webserver.
There are no Problems watching the PDF on my Windows Adobe Reader, so the crossdomain.xml Settings seems to be ok. But on OSX Leopard, the ImageZoomer wouldn't play. It seems on OSX the Flash Movie didn't get connection to the Internet, so the XML-File couldn't read. The Adobe Reader Settings are set to default, Reader Version is 9.0.
Has anyone the same problems or can tell me whats going wrong?

Hey so I really would like to watch flash videos for either movies or clips, what is the best way/app to watch flash videos whether the app is free or not it doesnt matter.

Search the app store. There are several alternate browsers that advertise the ability to play Flash content. However many people report very mixed results since the way these browsers work is to send the Flash content to a server to be converted to iOS format and then sent back to the browser. The bottom line is that Flash has never been supported on iOS so take that into consideration.
Most of the big web sites have long since supported iOS for video. I watch video clips, YouTube, etc. all the time on my iPad and don't really run into many sites that won't work. I'm sure there are and the best course of action is to encourage those sites to get with the plan and support mobile platforms like iOS and Android.
