Watching HDCP video on Ipad 2

I thought it would be a simple question but every google attempt and every attempt to find an answer in this community has not answered my question......
Can a Movie from the Itunes Store that says, "your display and computer must support HDCP" be watched on my Ipad 2 if I download it to my ipad? I don't want to watch it on some other display, just my ipad. When I went to rent it, it mention the above quote and I wished it would have simply said, "it can be watched on Ipad X, but any other display device must support HDCP." Thanks

Thanks for responding so quickly. Yes, I synced the videos to my iPad just like the first time when I got my iPad the first time. I'm playing them as I played them before just by going to videos and choosing whichever video I wanted to watch. Now I have to use home sharing to be able to watch on my iPad. Again, I was able to sync these videos before upgrading to iOS5 and had no problems.

I have a new Vizio Razor LED LCD HDTV and want to watch music videos I've purchased from iTunes currently located on my iPad on the TV. The TV has a USB port. Is there any way I can copy the files to a jump drive? I don't want to hook my iPad up directly to the TV because I'm working. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I want to watch music videos and have them as part of my "Music" app. This seems to work fine on my iphone but not on my ipad. Is there a fix coming for this in the near future?

Nope, no fix coming because it isn't broken. Works that way by design. What version of iOS are you running on the iPhone? Music videos were moved to the Video app some time ago, even for iPhone.

The iPad cannot natively view AVI videos. You'll either need to convert them to a supported format, details of whiich can be found in the tech specs:

or look for an app that can play AVI. Note that AVI is a container format and can use any number of codecs, so the app will have to support the codec your AVI videos contain, as will any coverter software you use.

I had this problem and found that I didn't have checked "Include Music Videos" on the device's music page. I checked that and everything appeared in the Videos app.

The problem with flash player is definitely negative for a device such as Ipad 2 ...

Apps such as Skyfire claim to support flash, but their reviews are mixed. Some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, so you could try checking there.

Hi, I'm planning to buy an iPad for my mother soon, she don't have interent at home, I'm thinking that should I:
1) Buy an iPad Wifi+Cellular and let her to use the SIM card to connect internet; or
2) Buy an iPad Wifi and apply the broadband service for her
- May I ask is there any diffenent to watch online video on iPad between wifi connection and cellular connection? Is it able to watch HD quality online video if using SIM card connected to internet? (Because I remember that the video quality is much poor if I use SIM card to connect internet long long time ago)
- May I also ask if I can use FaceTime with SIM card connection as well?

I'm planning to use Rogers in Ont, Canada, I guess 5GB per month is enough for my mom in the beginning, and LTE is faster than the lower cost broadband service that offer by Rogers, so both idea should work, but I'm still cannot make any decision because of the iOS system on HD video viewing and FaceTime connection:
1) May I ask is there any diffenent to watch online video on iPad between wifi connection and cellular connection? Is it able to watch HD quality online video if using SIM card connected to internet?
Because I remember that the video quality is much poor if I use SIM card to connect internet long long time ago, the quality was automatically compressed when watching online video with 3G mode, but it's long time ago, not sure now.

How can I stream the audio only to my Apple TV while watching the video on my iPad?

My question might sound a little confusing to some of you, but anyway: When I watch a video on my iPad (youtube app, facebook, etc.) I would like to watch the video on my iPad and stream the audio to my atv, which is connected to my hifi. Currently, every time I hit the airplay button both video AND audio will be streamed.
Many people complain about only streaming audio, but that's precisely what I am looking for! I don't want to turn on my TV for every silly 0:30 min youtube video. I would love to find something like this:

you can't rely on airplay mirror some apps support the old in app airtune audio only option if the video app in question does you can do it from the apps settings somehow
if not then you need a airport express which does pretty much what airplay mirror on the Apple TV does but it's a audio only

Guess the iOS isn't really all that it's cracked up to be, ignoring the wider world out there.
Your only choice to complain to Apple about closed devices they make, but of course they know this already and using the iPad as a cheap "netbook" halo effect device so you get to upgrade to a Mac, just like they do with iPhones and iPods.
In the meanwhile they are slowly closing the door on OS X, a little at a time so it's not noticeable.
Pretty soon the excuse will be "sorry I can't play your video you sent me mom, I've got a Mac"

If you look at the preferences for Flashblock (access from the extensions window of the add-ons manager) and choose Whitelist, you can add a site to that window, and that site will not be blocked by Flashblock at all. You will not even see the Flashblock icon.

Unfortunatelly, something’s not working fine on Flexplayer during the last cupple of months. A lot of updates have been released lately and the problems persist. Since iOS 6 was on the air, the problems became even worst. It’s a shame, but I think it’s time to change the app we are using. The alternative I found is 8Player, it works fine, similar to Flexplayer (but nicer interfase), and the best is that it supports “.flv” (not sure Flexplayer did). You can save your files to your hard disc using iTunes and then transfer them again to your idevice, once you’ve installed 8Player. I hope this helps. Bye bye Flexplayer!!

If an app doesn't respond to your input, or doesn't perform as expected, do the following, testing after each step:
