"Water Pane" Effect in FCPX freezing animation. How can I reset FCPX to get my plug-ins/effect to function properly? Tried Pram reset, did nothing. Help!!
My Water Pane effect in Final Cut Pro animates for a few seconds and then freezes up mid "drip" and stays frozen. video still plays fine in background, but Water Pane just sits there. How can I fix this?

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

"Water Pane" effect freezes mid-animation
The "water pane" effect freezes mid-animation, but video continues to play as normal behind it. how can i rest my effects/plugins to default values, or get this effect working again?
The Effects > Distortion > Water Pane effect is broken. There is a looping clip that's 3 seconds 24 frames long. Looping is set in the timing pane, but the clip wasn't stretched out to the whole length of the effect/project.
I fixed this problem.

Unzip and install entire "Water Pane Fixed" folder in:
Macintosh HD > UserFolder > Movies > Motion Templates > Effects > Distortion
If any part of that path is missing (your Effects folder may be empty if you haven't installed any other 3rd party effects and/or you don't have Motion 5) create the folders required. -
Photoshop 11 continues to not load right away and continously freezes. How can I fix this problem as I've been informed that Adobe will not help me.

You can't, I think. But you can open an old project where it was used, or if you know somebody else with logic, you can ask a copy of the presets and then manually drop them where they belong. What is missing exactly and how did you erase the presets?

When you installed Snow Leopard, Tiger was replaced, leaving your programs and files intact.
What is causing your freezing problem is unknown, you can take Kappy's advice and remove everything, but you lose your files and free iLife programs that came with Tiger/new machine.
The 10.6.3 disk you "upgraded" with has the full 10.6.3 on it, but no free iLife suit, so a erase and install will remove what you already have installed.
You can try to locate your problem without the erase and install method by running through this list of fixes.

But before you do anything, backup your personal data off the machine to a extenal drive and disconnect.

Because if you have to follow Kappy's advice and wipe and install 10.6 fresh, it will cure your problem in nearly 99% of cases, but you have to rebuild everything. All programs and files.
How to erase and install Snow Leopard 10.6
If this is all too much for you, then STOP and call a local PC/Mac service or competant friend to assist you.
Yuo might need to install more RAM into the machine to make 10.6 run better as well. -

you can reset the input source to Spanish by selecting the Keyboard pane of System Preferences, selecting the Input Sources tab, and pressing the “+” button in the lower-left corner to select one of the Spanish input sources. The “Spanish – ISO” input source is most similar to the physical Spanish keyboard layout. -

How can i reset firmware password utility ?
I have a Mac book pro-part No. MB986/LLA and I had two OS Mac OSX2 & Windows 7 saved on it . I had saved a Frame ware password utility 8 months ago on the system.
yesterday the keyboard and track pad have been freezed . I have deleted the two partitions by an XP CD , now I cannot install the snow Leopard Mac.OS.X10.6 . The error notice I receive is ( *Installation failed , the installer could not start up the computer from the disk "Macintosh HD"try selecting your Disc using Starter Disc Utility* ) . I have used Leopard & snow Leopard DVDs several times to disable the framer password utility but without any result . I have resized the Ram of the system but it was worthless . How can I reset the Framer Password by using a snow Leopard DVD Terminal . The time of boot by using Mac DVD lasts about 20 minutes . I live in a country lacks apple co. agent . Pls help , tks & regards .Did you try resetting the PRAM immediately after changing the RAM configuration, Omidsmac?
Do you know if the keyboard itself is now operating normally? If it is not then you may wish to also try using an external keyboard.
