Watermark in Premiere Elements 11

Hi,
so, in October I downloaded the Premiere Elements 11 trial version and I made an entire 1-hour movie with it. After the first 30 days I purchased Premiere Elements 11, filled in the serial number and the watermarks went away. All very well.
Now, a couple of months later, I opened the same project to add subtitles to it. And all of the sudden, the watermarks are back on the rendered parts of the movie. Now I read somewhere that to remove them, you have to remove the rendered files and re-render the whole thing, but I refuse to do that since 75% of my movie is rendered and I spent like 5 weeks working on it. Besides that, the watermarks were gone before. So why in heaven's name are they back right now and how do I get rid of them?
Michelle.

Welcome to the forum.
I have never read of a full-paid version of PrE reverting to "trial." [That has happened with some version of PrPro, but not usually with PrE.]
The Render files are JUST for smoothest playback, so before you go to output via Share/Publish, you can safely Delete the Render Files from the Scratch Disks>Media Cache. There will be nothing lost, with the Deletion of those files, to clear up the watermark, at that time. The files in the Timeline will be Transcoded separately from those Render Files, when you go to output.
The FAQ Entry on working with Projects, that started in the trial, is here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/1966673#1966673
Good luck,

  • Adobe premiere elements 10 trial watermark question

    Hi there,
I just had a question regarding the water mark in premiere elements 10. I know the watermark stays until I buy the full version. But if I was to find a full version on another computer. Can I take the file to the other computer to remove the water from it?
I did some work on it and I don't want to go to waste. I have a friend that has elements 7 I believe. It would be great if I can just save the file and open it there for the watermark to disappear. I just wanted to ask if that would work.
    Thanks!

When you do go to a "full-paid" version of PrE, on another computer, this FAQ Entry might prove useful.
    Good luck,

  • How do i remove the watermark created in Premiere Elements 12 now that I have full version?

I have upgraded to Premiere Elements 12 full version, but still have a watermark across the video I created in Trial version. I went into the "Timeline" menu ad delted rendered Files, as was recommended to me, but the watermark is still there. How do I remove this??

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Background information for now. Is it fully activated so that you are not getting Buy or Continue Tryout every time you open the program?
What are you trying to remove the Adobe watermark from - a project file (project.prel) from the tryout or an export from the tryout?
You cannot remove the Adobe watermark from an export from the tryout, be the export an export to a file saved to the computer hard drive or a burn to disc.
You should be able to remove the Adobe watermark from a project file (project.prel) created in the tryout by opening that project.prel in the purchased product and then the Timeline Menu/Delete Rendered Files. Some of us have found that just opening the tryout project file in the purchased product automatically removes the Adobe watermark.
Please give us more details on your situation.
    Thank you.

Could you give us some more details.
    1. What are you opening that has the Adobe Watermark
    a. a project file (project.prel file) created in the Premiere Elements 12 tryout
    or
    b. a file representing your Timeline exported to a file in Premiere Elements 12 tryout
    2. When you open your Premiere Elements 12 from the desktop icon, are you greeting by a
Premiere Elements 12 tryout dialog that ask License this Project or Continue the Trail?
    3. If you open a tryout project in the purchased Premiere Elements 12, does that Adobe Watermark ever
    disappear
    a. Timeline Menu/Delete Rendered Files
    and/or
    b. Going to the Adobe Premiere Elements Previews File Folder,  looking for rendered (preview files), and
    deleting them at that level
    SD project DV AVI
HD project MPEG2.mpeg with a companion .xmp file
    4. When you are in the opened project, if you go to Help Menu/, does it give a category for Sign In or Sign Out?
Please review and consider and then we can discuss this further.
    Thank you.

  • How to get rid of Adobe Watermark in Premiere 9 after purchase?

I downloaded the trial of Premiere Elements 9 and
began editing a project.  Then I made the purchase frm Amazon and installed the serial number in the trial version.  I can't get rid of the Adobe watermark on the transitions.  Even clearing the transition and inserting the same one or another transition, it still caries the watermark.  How do I get rid of it?
    Thanks.

  • How do I remove the Adobe Premiere Elements Trail Version Sign from my video?

I'm making a video using the Adobe Premiere Elements, but  they have a trail version logo across the screen so I cannot fully make a video without that showing. Is there any possible way that I can remove it? Thanks!

    uggrrl
You cannot remove the Adobe watermark from an export of the Premiere Elements tryout, be it an export to file saved to the computer hard drive or a burn to disc.
But, you can remove the Adobe watermark from the Premiere Elements project file (known as the project.prel) after you purchase the program.
All you do is open the project file from the tryout in the purchase Premiere Elements and then....
    a. In the opened project, go to Timeline Menu/and click on Delete Rendered Files
    or
    b. do nothing (some of us have found that the Adobe watermark automatically disappears from the tryout project file when that tryout project file in opened in the purchased Premiere Elements.
See which one works for you. The classical version of the how to is "a" above.
    Looking forward to your results.
    Thanks.

  • Adobe premiere elements 8 trial

Ok so I'm working on a school assignment and downloaded the trial of premiere elements. Installed fine etc but noticed, that overlayed on the video is "Created using Adobe Premiere Elements 8 Trial version". The school has full licenced copies of Premiere elements 7. If I create the movie at home and then load it on the school computers will it still have that? Also, is there any issues going from Premiere Elements 8 to Premiere Elements 7
P.S. Sorry about my name, but it kept rejecting names

If you did a Save_As, or Save_As_a_Copy, copied all of your Assets and had a laptop with PrE 8, then things should work fine. Remember - the Asset files are NOT in the Project file. This ARTICLE will give you the tips.
I migrate Projects between computers (usually PrPro, but it's exactly the same). I use external FW-800 drives, and set each Project up in its own folder and ALL Assets are Copied to that folder structure.
The problem that one will likely encounter is that with an external HDD, the drive letter will probably change, machine to machine. I set this to be the same for each computer's OS, so that my Z:\ is always my Z:\ drive on each computer, where I plug it in. This might be something that you will not have access to, with lab machines, but PrE makes it easy to deal with. When you plug in the external HDD, and then open your Project, the Path to the Assets will be different, so PrE will not be able to find them on its own. It will ask, "where is file _____?" and you can then use Find to navigate to the new Path for those Assets files. Once you locate the first one in that folder, it will then relink to all used Assets in that folder. If you have the Assets in many different folders, you will need to repeat for each folder.
Be very sure to read that FAQ article on removing the watermark. That will need to be followed.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Can I download Premiere Elements 7 trial?

Does anybody know where can I download Premiere Elements 7 trial? My school is using Premiere Elements 7 and I'm afraid I'm going to have compatibility issues with Elements 9 and 7.

That might be a tough one, as PrE 7 is now two years and two versions old, I would anticipate that the trial downloads are long gone.
Also remember, any Project done in any "trial" version will be watermarked, so you might not be happy with the results. This FAQ Entry will tell you more about the watermark.
Good luck, and I hope that someone else might have a URL to the download, but I would not hold my breath, due to the age of that version.

    Cheers TomThumb
    some things said about Adobe
We're not so happy with the way Premiere Elements 10 puts frames up on the monitor. Even with only a single AVCHD stream, playback seemed a little jerky. We shot a 120fps slow-motion video of the monitor and discovered that it was dropping around 15% of frames.
It's also worth noting that the default Automatic preview mode uses a crude method of resizing footage to fit the preview window, which can result in a slightly blocky appearance and moiré interference. Switching from Automatic to Highest removed this problem, but also halved the number of simultaneous streams that would play on our test PC.
Sadly, the responsiveness of the timeline controls and the interface in general remain poor. Simple actions such as zooming into the timeline, moving a clip or switching between the various tabbed panels were annoyingly slow, even with simple projects on our powerful PC. More complex projects containing lots of HD clips were almost unworkable.
After jumping to a point on the timeline and hitting the spacebar to commence playback, we sometimes had to wait for five seconds before the preview window sprang to life. More patient users may be able to bear it, but compared to the lightning-fast Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11, it's a painful experience.
The remaining new features aren't so enticing. It can generate animated slideshows, automatically zooming and panning from face to face. However, these animations are clunky and unattractive compared to the elegant, sweeping animations that Premiere Elements is already capable of with its advanced Bézier keyframe tools.
It can now upload videos directly to Facebook, but as with many of its export templates, the frame rate is fixed at 30fps rather than adapting to the project settings, needlessly inserting repeated frames from 25fps footage and compromising motion smoothness. Once again, this is basic stuff that we expect Adobe to get right.
Disc authoring is available at 25fps (PAL) or 30fps (NTSC) frame rates, but the lack of 24fps Blu-ray authoring won't please Nikon DSLR owners, and disc structure options are extremely basic. At least there's finally an option to burn HD video onto DVD media in the widely compatible AVCHD disc format.
There are some worthwhile improvements here, but the £69 inc VAT upgrade price is so high that we recommend existing users seriously consider jumping ship.

    Hello Bob,
    You state:
I still cannot believe you cannot trial CS5.5.1
I do not understand this statement. With the introduction of PrPro CS5.5, the "trial" has been the full program, with ALL CODEC's included and installed. The ONLY limit to that trial is the time - 30 days, as before. Now, there is a very recent update for CS 5.5, to the 5.5.1, and as this is very new, and last I checked ONLY available in an automatic update, i.e. no directly downloadable version yet, the trial is probably 5.5.0.0, but as soon as the stand-alone update is available, I suspect that Adobe will change the trial to 5.5.1. This usually takes from 1 - 2 weeks, as the install routine has to be completely re-written, and then coded into the download file. Historically, Adobe has updated the trial (and the full-paid download), as soon as the stand-alone version has been released. By my rough calculation, that should take place sometime this week, if it has not already. Still, one can test-drive CS 5.5.0.0 in its full glory. Note: that was NOT always the way, as all things MPEG were disabled. That changed, and in a very good way, with the release of CS 5.5. There are also no watermarks in that CS 5.5 trial - just the 30 day limit on usage. Kudos to Adobe for handling that version's trial differently and in a much better way.
Just that one change probably saved 1M words in the PrPro forum, as we had to explain what WAS and WAS NOT available in the older versions' trials. Now, there is nothing to explain.
If you are looking to upgrade to PrPro CS 5.5, I urge you to give the trial a full shakedown. Nothing is missing, and nothing is limited. Then, if you have issues, check out Sheri's list of fixes, and improvements in 5.5.1 By the time that you read this, the trial might well incorporate the 5.5.1 update?
As for PrE 10, I have not had the opportunity to test it. I had to decline the beta-testing, due to a very heavy travel schedule, and it taking a bit longer to get me up to 64-bit OS's, than anticipated. However, and as Steve mentions, had I been in the beta-testing corps, I could not comment on that process, due to NDA's. As soon as I am on the ground, more often, than in the air, I intend to test PrE 10, and will report on my observations.
Like you, I have been very pleased with my PrPro 2.0, and other than a handful of Feature Requests to make it better, have never had an issue with it. I held off on CS 3 and CS 4, because there was little that I needed, and because of the reports in the forums on those two versions. I've had CS 5.5 MC just sitting in the box, waiting on the 64-bit machines, so I can load it up, and test. In the meantime, PrPro 2.0 still works beautifully for me.
Good luck, and do give CS 5.5 a test run. I think that you will like it. More on PrE 10, when I get a moment.

  • Premiere Elements 10 trial version vs buying Elements 11

    Hi!
I downloaded Premiere Elements 10 trial version last week but now 11 is out!
I (unfortunalty for me) didn't realize watermarks would "stay" until I bought full version but I figured I might as well buy the 11 version since it's out. So how can I do this since when I open program it asks me if I want to purchase version 10? and most importantly, will I loose all the work I've done so far???
    Thanks!

You are welcome to uninstall the Premiere Elements 10 trial and install the Premiere Elements 11 trial.  You can locate the trial at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=premiere_elements&loc=us.

  • Canon HF10 and Premiere Elements 8

    Hello!
I have a Canon Vixia HF 10 that I am trying to use with the Adobe 8 Premiere Elements trial. When I click the "AVCHD or other hard disk/memory camcorder" option in the Get Media tab, my camera is not recognized as an import source. It is recognized by the ImageMixer capture software, and I am able to import those clips from my computer into Premiere.
I have read other posts talking about this issue in version 7, and it doesn't seem to have been fixed in version 8. Any plans for this anytime soon?
Also, because I'm using the trial--what's the deal with the watermark? It seems to appear only when I modify the files in certain ways, such as changing the opacity of a clip or adding an effect, for example. Why...?
    -Sarah

    Welcome to the forum.
Any plans for this anytime soon?
Unfortunately, this is a User-to-User forum. There is no Adobe presence, beyond that red A logo at the upper-left of the forum page.
Also, because I'm using the trial--what's the deal with the watermark?
That is the limitation of the trial. In PrPro, all things MPEG are disabled. There is nothing (that I know of) disabled in PrE trail, but it does watermark the output. Here is the FAQ Article on removing the watermark, once one acquires the full version.
As far as your camera, you will need to copy your material to the computer's HDD and Import that, rather than Capture, which would be used for miniDV tape cameras.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Adobe premiere elements trial version

in my adobe premiere elements the text 'premiere elements trial version' stays in the videodisplay, how can I remove this?

    marrithoekstra
Just in case notes that may sometimes get overlooked.....
    1. After purchase of the Premiere Elements, you can remove the Adobe watermark from a project file (project.prel) that you created during the tryout. But, you cannot remove the Adobe watermark that exists in one of the exports from the tryout project.prel file (even after you get a purchased serial number and are working from the purchased program).
    a. The classical answer to getting rid of the Adobe watermark from your tryout project.prel files after you purchase the product is to delete the rendered files of the trial project.prel which is opened in the purchased program.
