Wav file on mousedown - need bug fix

I have set a behaviour on the nav links to the left of my
page which should make a sound on the mousedown command, but this
only works in opera? Am using a mac and have tried IE 5.5, Safari
and Firefox too with no luck. Not sure about IE6/7 yet.
Does anyone have suggestions or bug fixes for this problem?

Well, I looked through the example code I tried to break it down to the point where you could create a simple Play VI. Unfortunately, I don't have the PDA target, so I'm uncertain if the little example that I have attached will run or not. If not, I also took a screen shot so you can see what VIs I used. I'm pretty sure I only used VI's that I found on the example itself.

PPro not reading TC in wav files correctly-is there a fix

Is Premiere not able to read embedded TC properly in wav files?
I'm in 29.97fps-NDF seq...PPro seems confused and displays wav TC in source monitor as what seems to be a Drop Frame calculation.
Example:
Received audio from Protools Rig as wav audio file with embedded TC start at 00:59:45:00. Verified this in Avid. PPro displays in source as 00:59:48:17. This is not correct.
Example 2:
TC start at 01:10:01:20...PPro displays as 01:10:05:26
I have several segments and stems that must be dropped into a seq at specific TC, which is embedded in the wav file...but PPro can't display properly.
Using tools for TC recalculation is not always giving me the exact result...sometimes off by a frame. For a semi-long form seq, this "Frame off" can result in bigger sync issues.
Is there a solution for this?

Found solution. I remember dealing with a 30fps seq at some point in this Project and had switched my "Indeterminate Media Timebase" to 30fps. I checked the setting and sure enough it was still at 30fps. I changed to 29.97fps-NDF and reimported wav files...now reading TC correctly
This is under Preferences>Media>Indeterminate Media Timebase
This needs to be same as your seq Timebase and affects TC interpretation for wav files and I think image sequences as well.

Blackberry HUB "Show Read Filed Emails" ON AND OFF button SERIOUS Gmail PROBLEM NEED BUG FIX ASAP!

Its been for years (starting from 10OS Version 10.2 ) I couldn't see filed/labeled emails in my Z30/Z10 Blackberry HUB of my Gmail account, but I just downloaded Blackberry Blend and it started to show all my filed/labeled emails, but I still cant see them in my Blackberry HUB! Maybe you can tell me how to make Read Filed Emails visible in Blackberry HUB too?
Blackberry HUB >> Settings >> Display and Actions:
Show Read Filed Emails is ON
Show Sent Emails is ON
Both are turned on, but I still cant see them like on Blackberry Blend.. On search field then I type specific email from filed/label from my Gmail account I immediately finds it, but then I go back to Blackberry HUB all I can see just emails from inbox and single sent emails and YES "SYNC ALL EMAIL FOLDERS" IS SET TO ON AND "SYNC TIMEFRAME" IS SET TO FOREVER (''Sync All Email Folders'' is set ON and ''Sync Timeframe'' is set FOREVER).

As you can see then ''Show Read Filed Emails'' is ON, Blackberry Blend changes and I can see all my emails (and there are a lot of unread ones! (sorry I blurred some of my emails for privacy)), but in my devices Blackberry HUB there is no changes and its displaying the same thing like ''Show Read Filed Emails'' was OFF. I miss a lot of emails and its really annoying and I think you understand why.. Blackberry Blend desktop version is a savior today, but THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION!
Any FIX suggestions ASAP?

I tried a lot of times to delete and sign in again and again, but it looks like only Blackberry Blend respond to every setting changes! Blackberry HUB doesn't respond AT ALL! Devices Blackberry HUB only show INBOX and SENT MESSAGES all the time, but if "Display Style" in Blackberry HUB is set to "Conversation" SENT MESSAGES disappear from devices Blackberry HUB too (in Blackberry Blend is everything FINE!) if they are part of CONVERSATION FILED/LABELS EMAILS!!

Handling wave files

Hi, I want to develop a program that deals with wav files. I need to read the bytes of the wav file similar to how pixels of an image could be read using the getRGB() method . Is it possible with java. Is there any method to read the contents of the wav file...please someone help me

With a PDF opened in Acrobat XI:
Tools - Content Editing - select the tool "Edit Text and Images".
Keep in mind that PDF is not a word processor file format; consequently PDF does not tolerate word processor like "editing".
However touchups of characters and character strings is possible (when done judaciously).
Acrobat (in particular the Pro release) provides robust tools for touchup.

Lightroom 5.3 is a 800MB download. Where can I get a sensible size file just for the bug fixes?
Also where is there a list of the fixes? The readme file gives nothing usefull.

I have about 100 .wav files that I need to convert from 48khz to 48.048khz . I'd love to be able to use Compressor's automation to do this.

Sound media (.wav) file no longer working

Is there a place where you can get a list of media types that are supported in 1.3, specifically .wav files? I need 1.3 rather than 1.2 as the .wav sound file I am using worked in 1.2, but now doesn't :-(

It happens in the onError() function of javafx.scene.media.Media.
I used to get lovelly buzzer sounds and now there is only silence. Should I convert the file to another format? If anyone has any recommendations on the way to proceed that would be great.

It's like if suddendly Adobe would decide that it is impossible to put sound, soundtracks or movies into a SWF. Or as I when I bought Mass Effect Galaxy (not a good game by the way) on the Apple App Store, instead of installling a wooping 110MB+ on my ipod Touch, instead EA and Bioware would have had me streaming the Mass Effect music and the game 's small video and voice acting sequence out of their web site each time I was playing... that would have been laughable.. especially considering the speed of the Internet over there...
Furthermore it's not a technical limitation or they'd have to seriously decrease the capabilities of the JVM by the time Java 7 comes out.
I just hope that someone (JFXtras) would come up with a new Media implementation using the good old ClassPath access to overcome this "but how did they came up with that crazy idea" limitation.

Apple Enterprise Support is aware of this issue. They have specific instructions which attempt to remediate the issue, however, attempting on two different MBP laptops, so far has not succeeded.
The problem to be specific is - hang at login. The Filevaulted user account gets its password entered, then the "progress bar" mid screen will be seen to halt, never resuming. NVRAM resets dont necessarily cure this issue, but turning off FV2 definitely does.
We are seeing this with 10.10.2 fully Apple-SUS updated machines.
Feedback has been sent to Apple over this as well.
Im recommending:
a. turn off FV2 until such time as a Apple provided update cures it
b. consider the Sophos WDE solution if WDE is absolutely required (disclosure: I havent attempted this, not sure about its workability)

8k WAV files in UMR Failed folder - way to fix?

Hi John,
A major drawback with using wav for storage is that it doesn't carry a tag. This means that in the event of a corrupted library the only information remaining is the filename. Other data may be stored in the path but iTunes doesn't know how to get it. I understand that you need this format for your workflow with Diamond Cut, but that makes it all the more important that you backup your iTunes database on a regular basis.
Provided that you still have the tracks in their artist and album folders and haven't let iTunes "reorganise" them you should be able to restore some useful metadata using my script TagFromFilename. The script reads the path and filename, and provided these are in the normal layout of <Path>\<Artist>\<Album>\## <Name>.<Ext> can restore Artist, Album Artist, Track Name and Track Number. If your files have a different but predicatable layout with the same information, e.g. the data is all in the filename, then I could create a suitable version of the script to get the data into iTunes. I recommend you disable both the Keep... and Copy... options in iTunes advanced preferences before adding files to the iTunes database. Ideally you also want a complete backup of your correctly structured folders in case you need to pull copies back from it.
As stated earlier, uninstalling iTunes before the upgrade wouldn't have helped. The crucial thing before any upgrade is to backup all user data from the drive that will be wiped. Typically the iTunes database lives in C:\Users\<User>\Music\iTunes on Vista or Windows 7. The crucial file is called iTunes Library.itl. You seem fairly certain that you don't have a backup database that you could restore but an exhaustive search of your hard drive for files of the form *.itl might still be worth doing. If you find any apart from the active library we can discuss how you open them to see if they are useful.

I need an equipment with an entry USB port to send a wav file and exit I & Q

We are working with an equipment consisted in a transmitter and a receiver.At the end we have 2 computers,we are trying to send a wav file through USB port from one computer and converted to I & Q signal (that supports our transmitter).
On the other end we have to convert from I & Q signals to a signal who can interprete the USB port.
Our ask is if exists an equipment which could do these two fuctions.

We have data acquisition (DAQ) devices that have a USB interface. You could send a .wav file to an analog output of a USB-DAQ device and you could acquire an analog signal (with analog inputs on a USB-DAQ device) and write that to a .wav file with another USB-DAQ device.
What is an I&Q signal? You need to give more information on what what characteristics are needed for a signal to be I&Q. I have included a link below to a USB-DAQ device within our on-line catalog for you to take a look at.

Yep, i just did it again. The entire scroll-bar widget, complete with formatted text, graphics, etc., pasted itself nicely in another book. Two different files, the same widget.
I use the scroll-bar widgets for most of my texts. (I have audio buttons on the side, and the scripts are within the widget, to the side). My only text is within widgets, and text boxes, naturally.
I am following your recommendation: cleaning files, etc. I am remaking the book anew. I need to convince the EPUB bot or whatever that my file looks and works nicely on all my devices. You would expect an error message when previewing the book: 'Hey Amigo, your file is flawed, stop working on it, and get back to the drawing board." Should be able to try again next Monday.
