Wave grouping

The issue is we are trying to group 30-50 deliveries into a wave and then trying to create transfer orders through 2 step picking, but during the first step picking a couple of transfer orders do not get created due to various issues like bin block, no stock, VMI stock, etc....The requirement is that once TO's do not get created that particular material should be deleted from the deliveries.
To clear the wave manually  I deleted all the TO's so that the wave is at its initial stage,but no changes can be made to the group using LT45 or VG02 as the multiple processing is active(T311) for the wave.
SO when i try to delete it says no changes can be made sue to the reference of the wave.Can anyone please tell me if it is due to the multiple processing being active in table t311 or is there any other issue and how can i resolve this.
Your timely help will be appreciated

Hi
When you are doing wave process never activate TO confirmation check.
Now the process is first cancel the TO's and remove the deliveries from the Shipment.
Go the delivery change mode VL02N and delete the materials for which stock is not available or blocked onces.
If everything is fine then add the deliveries again to the same shipment and go ahead with creating TO's
Hope its useful.

  • "Group" causing crash?

    Hello,
    I'm editing four sequences in a project, ranging from 2 minutes to 10 minutes. DVCPRO HD 720p 24p.
    I had two sections of a wav grouped together, and out of nowhere, I moved them in the timeline slighly, and it crashed, giving me this:
    Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
    [..\..\Src\Sequence\PersistentGroupContainer.cpp-234]
    Later I tried deleting them, and that crashed too! Finally, I ungrouped them, and now everything seems fine.
    Has anyone else had this problem? Is the "group" function buggy? Should I stop using it? It's so handy!
    Premiere Pro CS3 v3.2
    Win XP SP2
    Athlon X2 4200
    2 GB DDR400
    GeForce 8600GT
    250GB system/320GB media hdd

    You still out there looking at things? If so I have an update. The issue hasn't stopped, even though it did seemingly die down for awhile, however, it is now back with a vengeance.
    I am able to force it to happen by killing the svchost process that is hosting GPSVC. If I run gpupdate /force, then logout/login it does get GPSVC running again. Furthermore, if I simply start svchost again via the Task Manager GPSVC starts running again.
    When I access the server remotely with KVM it acts just like it does as if I'm logging into it via Citrix/RDP which for Admin IDs gives an error saying "Failed to connect to a windows service. Windows could not connect to the Group Policy Client service...",
    however, normal user accounts just get a message when logging into the server "The Group Policy Client Service Failed the Logon. Access is denied."
    I haven't opened a case with Microsoft yet, but we about ready to because of the increase in these errors.
    If you have any further suggestions that would be great, otherwise I'll provide an update once I get word back from Microsoft.
    **EDIT -- apparently I mistook the the server's SCM's actions as my own. I was able to successfully crash the GPSVC service by killing the hosting svchost process, however, after I crashed it and let it sit crashed for awhile when I attempted
    to restart either by starting a svchost task, or running gpupdate /force it failed. Either that, or there is a timing issue where if we don't restart the svchost process, or run gpupdate /force quickly enough it won't be able to recover without a reboot.

  • Logistics Execution - locking on Delivery|Material level

    Hi
    Is it possible to change the locking from Delivery level to Delivery|Material level? We have a custom development where the users can pack by wave/group. This helps a great deal with productivity, but sometimes the packers lock the deliveries, even though they're packing different wave/materials.
    Please advise. Thank you and best regards,
    Adrian

    Locking the delivery at document level is done in the standard program "LLE_SHP_DB_DELIVERY_BUF_EXEF52", form-routine "DELIVERIES_ENQUE_PACKAGE" using the Function module "SHP_SD_ORDER_ENQUEUE" (Line number 36), which inturn call function module SD_SALES_DOCUMENT_ENQUEUE SHP_ENQUEUE_EVVBLKE.  If you look at the parameter passed before calling the function module, only Delivery Number is added to the input parameter.
    I don't think, it is desirable to change this standard functionality.

  • Having issues with AAA TACACS ACS

    We are trying to get our WAVE's to utilize the ACS for TACACS authentication and are having issues.
    We have followed the suggestions of many posts in the forum and also the guides, but are still not able to get it working.  The group has been created on the Central manager and under the group for the ACS the following has been added:
    shell:waas_rbac_groups*CoreWAAS
    We have other items in there for authentication for ACE contexts as well as Nexus equipment.  We used the same type of scheme.  When a user attempts to authenticate and purposely types an incorrect pwd we get back a response the creds are not valid (which they aren't).  If the user types in the correct creds we get a passed authentication entry in the ACS, yet we get no response back from the session it immediately disconnects.  We have enable the Command authorization of 15 on the WAVE group but this has not had any changes.
    Please advise,
    Joe

    Ok, cool,
    So this usually means that the switch is sourcing the requests from a difernet interface that is configured on the ACS.
    I would guess that the ACS is reporting unknown NAS...
    Can you please use the "ip tacacs source-interface" command to make sure the switch will source the Tacacs+ packets from the interface with the IP address for which you have the ACS configured to?

    Tiago

  • ECC WM Wave picking- reversal once Group is released

    We have a wave picking process, wherein a number of shipments are grouped into a wave pick Group.Group is generated
    -The transfer orders are generated from VL37 (Wave pick monitor).
    -A consolidated pick list is printed by releasing the Group.
    -The pick list is then used for the physical pick in the warehouse and transfer orders are confirmed by RF.
    The scenario is, something goes wrong after the group is released and pick list is printed.Users want to reverse/cancel the transfer orders and amend delivery.Once done, deliveries need to be assigned to a new Group, so that a fresh pick list can be printed.
    The issue in the above scenario is, once the Group is released, we are not able to dis-associate the deliveries from the Group.The error message is 'Change cannot be made due to status of reference number 103 2000000009
    Message no. VL826'
    As deliveries cannot be removed from the released Group, the deliveries cannot be assigned to a new Group.
    Is there a way to get around this?
    Thanks,
    Bikram

  • Is there a way to import a group of layers in one project in to another project ?

    Hi all,
    I'm currently using After Effects 5... yes that is version 5, not CS5.
    I'm trying to figure out if I can import a group of layers and their applied Effects in to another project while keeping all the editable attributes and the positions of the imported layers with respect to one another.
    I see that I can import a AEP project file in to another project via IMPORT FILE, but that just brings the raw layers/files in to the project window and does not place the layers in the timeline with all of their positions, Effects and edited attributes, the way that I'd like.
    I also tried Pre-Composing the layers, but that does not leave them editable once a pre-comp has been made... it just makes the 7 layers that I want to import in to another project all one layer and does not leave them editable the way the the 7 layers are separately.
    In Adobe Premiere, there is an actual "IMPORT PROJECT" selection under IMPORT that allows me to import an entire project file in to another project and lets me place the imported project where I want in the new project timeline... that is what I'm trying to do in After Effects.
    I realize that there may be an easy way to do this in one of the newer versions of After Effects, and one might say, "just buy the new AE CS5", but I figured out allot of things on my own so far and I like After Effects 5 for what I'm doing now... maybe later on the newer version.
    Thanks for any input,
    digi

    Hi Andrew,
    No, the two threads that I wrote back to report finding that old 1999 plug-ins package that were removed were...

    ...origianally at this link, but it is now gone and also missing from my "Discussions" list...

    and

    ...originally at this link, and it is also gone and missing from my "Discussions" page...
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4151249
    I had saved the links to those threads with bookmarks, but they were removed the day after I posted about finding those plug-ins.
    I wanted to get some info from earlier in the thread on one of those and when I went back they both were gone.
    I was able to find those two threads by doing a site-webcach search on Google to see if there was a snapshot of each thread in Google's cache... I did find shapshots of those two thread but they were taken the day that I first posted the questions before any replies or subsequent posts by me were posted.  Below are the Google cache links to those snapshots of those threads' pages, but as you'll be able to see, it only shows my original questions before all the replies by you and others on the forum and my final report of finding the plug-ins package...

    Having the Adobe forums Gestapo remove those threads is a little like burning old software books... meaning, I guess Adobe just doesn't want people discussing old software downloads, even though I did not post the actual link for the the old "AE 6.0 Bonus Plugin Pack" and "AE 5.5 Power Pack Plug-Ins" that I found.  I only reported back on those threads that I found the plug-ins packages after several lengthy Google searches.  Since those plug-ins packages were no longer available from Adobe, I thought it was quite a find to be able to track them down elsewhere after all this time.  They were 12 and 13 year old plug-ins packages, but they had been posted only in the last couple of years.
    Someone else on one of those threads had also told me that AE 6 plug-ins would not work in AE 5, but that turned out to not be true... I don't remember who that was... maybe that was the person who removed my threads because he/she didn't like having a thread that indicated that he/she was wrong.
    Anyway, thanks for your info again today... very, very helpful.

  • Error Message when logging on "The Group Policy Client service failed the logon. Access is denied"

    Since the move to Windows 7 we have started getting this error above when people login at random times and on random machines, at first we thought it was only a select few users, but now it seems to have occurred to about 20 different Staff members working
    at the school. Also of those 20 odd users it has happened to them on a few occasions.
    What we know
    We know this problem is only occurring to staff with Roaming Profiles, it seems like somehow the profile is not Synchronizing with the Servers File Share that houses the profiles, which causes the NTUSER.DAT file to become corrupt and go from being around
    2 – 3 MBs to 256KB (In all cases where a user has had this issue there NTUSER.DAT file has been 256KB)
    Current Resolution to the problem
    When a staff member contact us with this problem, we fortunately have Previous Versions working on the profiles folder on the server, so we are able to restore their NTUSER.DAT file from 1 to 2 days before it became corrupt, which then seems to allow them
    to log on fine
    What we have tried so far & suggested so far
    After some research on Google, we found the following thread on EduGeek
    http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-7/78733-windows-7-user-profile-failed-error-again.html#post700415
    Which suggested that the problem may lay within registry, so we implemented the Script that was posted on the website, however this has not seemed to make any difference
    In the early stages when only 5 – 10 staff seemed to be having the problem, we believed the issue could be with just certain AD accounts. It had not seemed to happen to any recently created AD accounts so we thought it could be a corrupt attribute on
    the user so we delete one of the staff AD accounts that had the problem and creating a brand new one, however within about 2 – 3 weeks that staff member had the issue occur again
    Leading on from point two, we also thought the problem could be with people using multiple computers, logging on in 2 places and not logging off properly, but unfortunately the staff member referred to in point 2 only uses the one computer in reception.
    Another potential cause that we figured might be the route of the problem, was it could be specific computers that are not communicating properly with the server, which could be causing this problem to occur, but we have no real way of testing this,
    as the staff generally log onto 3 – 4 different computers throughout the day and in different location
    We log a call with EE and they just pointed us to various websites that we had already checked and wasn’t much help.
    In Summary
    This error has now occurred with about 20 members of staff, we currently only use Windows 7 at our Senior School & Moving to Windows 7 at our Prep School in the Summer
    holidays, we would like to find out the route of this problem ideally before then, as we could potentially be doubling the amount of staff with the problem after the move. Has anyone else seen this problem or have a brain wave on how to solve it?
    Regards
    Andy

    Hi Dudleya,
    First of all ,I would suggest to check the permissions of the NTUSER.DAT registry hive .Here is a link for reference :

    Hi,
    below is the recommendation for the MOH file for RGS,
    All wave files must meet the following requirements
    8-bit or 16-bit file
    Linear pulse code modulation (LPCM), A-Law, or mu-Law format
    Mono or stereo
    4MB or less
    For the best performance of wave files, a 16 kHz, mono, 16-bit Wave file is recommended.
    get a file converted to above specs and upload. it should work.

  • Rippling waves in DVD output from rendering process? Has anyone seen this?

    I have created a new project within Premiere Pro CS3. I have imported in about 300 still photos to create a DVD slide show mixed with some movie footage from one avi file. The following are the specs of the stills:
    1. Each still was scaled down to 1440X960 in size within Photoshop CS3. None of the images were scaled up.
    2. I disabled Premiere from resizing the images during import process so that I can setup panning and zooming each image.
    3. I added all images to my timeline with a 6 second delay.
    4. I then setup all even images to start at %size of 50% and then zoom out to 100% using keyframes.
    5. I then setup all odd images to start panning from left to right, during the 6 seconds they are displayed, with the image %size of 75%
    I then added music to the audio track and then exported as a Movie, which created an avi file.
    I then imported this avi file into Encore and created my final DVD, which is only about 30 minutes long.
    I gave a copy to a friend, and when he attempted to view the movie on his MAC and then his PC running XP, he reported that he was seeing rippling waves throughout the video. He explained them to look kind of like heat waves that you would see coming off hot asphalt. Which this cause the image to be somewhat distorted. When he placed the DVD in his home TV dvd system and it displayed on his TV, the results were much better, but you can still see a little of those waves. I also see a little of those waves on my new dvd player attached to my High Def TV.
    My questions tho this group are:
    1. What causes these waves to appear?
    2. How to get rid of them and make the video more high resolution looking?
    Thank you all for your help.
    Rick

    > What causes these waves to appear
    Interlacing.
    > 2. How to get rid of them and make the video more high resolution looking?
    Use progressive frames for computer playback. Or set up your PC's DVD software to deinterlace DVDs on playback (quality may vary).
    You can also apply the "anti-flicker" settings in Premiere's motion to soften it a bit.

  • Material Substitution by Sales Group?

    We will be trying to rollout a new product in place of another, but we want to do it in "waves" -- like by different groups of customers.   Is anyone aware of any functionality within SAP that would support doing this?  What we are thinking is that we may have to do some kind of batch program that would update sales orders, but we are looking for a better way of doing this.
    Thank you very much!

    Hi,
    Have you tried material determination in sales so that when you ordered BBBB, it is substituted with AAAAAA ?
    Why doesn't it work ?

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention with a nicely written bug report, I've been able to reproduce this on my end. Will pass it on.
    Thanks again!

  • Get custom ringtones for up to five groups of 75 c...

    Mycontacts is in extras-devel and works great.
    it has a full screen widget you can turn on and off too.
    i have been able to create 4 groups of people/contacts and assign rings to them. (currently only see wav files)
    i am sure there will be some updates to make it better, but it is a great start.
    i have had no issues with it so far, so even the noob should be ok trying it.
    enjoy

  • WAV in BSP?

    Hello All,
    I am relatively new to BSP, but on the help from documents i was able to build an application that meets some of the scenarios addressed by our group. So, the management is interested and they would like to have this project 'go on'. I would like to know the source where i can get some documents on BSP in SDN. I would be glad if you can provide me the details &
    can we embed background music(a small wave file) in to BSP page? if so how? and also how to embed an .SWF (Flash)file. Would be great if you can provide me the info....
    an inquisitive BSP developer,

    First and foremost check out this link:
    <a href="/people/brian.mckellar/blog/2004/06/11/bsp-trouble-shooting-getting-help">BSP Trouble Shooting: Getting Help</a>
    Second check out the Weblogs from Brian McKellar, there <a href="https://weblogs.sdn.sap.com/pub/u/164">here</a>, and also Thomas Jung over <a href="https://weblogs.sdn.sap.com/pub/u/1918">here</a>.
    That will be quite a bit to get your feet wet.
    As for the embedding of Flash or other object tpyes in your BSP, well remember your BSP is a webpage.
    Example from: <a href="http://www.free2code.net/tutorials/webdev/flash/28/Floating_Flash_Over_Your_Webpage!.php">Free2Code</a>
    <%@page language="abap"%>
    <%@extension name="htmlb" prefix="htmlb"%>
    <htmlb:content design="design2003">
      <htmlb:page title = " ">
        <htmlb:form>
    <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=5,0,0,0" width="800" height="300">
      <param name=movie value="http://www.multidmedia.com/software/flashcandy/fcd.swf">
      <param name=quality value=high>
      <embed src="http://www.multidmedia.com/software/flashcandy/fcd.swf" quality=high pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="800" height="300">
      </embed>
    </object>
        </htmlb:form>
      </htmlb:page>
    </htmlb:content>
    You can also store the flash in your Application as MIME Object.
