WaveBurner - invalid field in cdb

I have been using logic for years and have never had this problem with Waveburner.  I went to burn a copy of a master, the only difference in it and earlier copies is I was adding the ISRC. When trying to burn I got this message:
"Disk drive didn't respond properly and cant recover or retry. Invalid field in CDB"
Any ideas on what the problem might be?

I don't know what the 'invalid field in cdb' is, but that amount of free space is not enough to run the app. You need to keep at least 25 GB free.
However, I researched that error message and it may indeed be some incompatibility with the drive.
Can you create a disk image file?
If so, then iDVD is not the problem. You can then probably burn to disk from the disk image file using Disk Utility or Toast.
Post back if this does not help.

  • Daily Messages relating to (invalid field in cdb)

    Hello all,
I am investigating a set of messages that occur at the same time every day. See excerpt below. They occur at 9:41 everyday and are shown in the oldest messages file which go as far back as May 1st. Is there anyway to find out what is causing these messages? The server is a Sun-Fire V440 running Solaris 9 with c1t0d0 and c1t1d0 hardware raided. I was not a part of the original setup so I do not have much details on how the initial configurations went. I have searched the net and found that the ASC:0x24 basically indicates an illegal request was sent to the device and is of no harm, but I want to know why they occur at the same time every day. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well from the old explorers I am inclined to think maybe its something else and not processes. Maybe what you said about the LSI card drivers sending bad values to the scsi drivers. From the old explorers also there was no iostat or vmstat or anything that looks suspicious in the process list. I am inclined to believe these messages existed since installation of the server.

  • Cannot edit wiki pages-- Exception message: Invalid field name

We have migrated from one Sharepoint 2010 environment to another Sharepoint 2010 environment and only wanted to preserve a few sites, mostly Enterprise Wiki Sites.
We have imported 5 total Enterprise Wiki Sites, all of which point to particular Term Sets in Managed Metadata.
2 wikis are pointed to term set A, 2 wikis are pointed to term set B and one wiki is pointed to term set C.
One of the wikis pointed to term set A is working, and one is not
The malfunctioning wiki has the following symptom:
Whenever you try to edit a page (new or existing) and save your changes, regardless of whether it is tagged, you cannot save your changes.  When you try, you get the error below.
    Error
    Failed to get value of the "Wiki Categories" column from the "Managed Metadata" field type control. See details in log. Exception message: Invalid field name. {f863c21f-5fdb-4a91-bb0c-5ae889190dd8}

    Go back to site
To me, it looks like there is an invalid URL, since it gives the URL path, and then there is a space, and then it also has a relative URL to /wiki/adminwiki/pages ...is this normal?
Any ideas on how to fix this is great.  I don't think it has anything to do with the Managed Metadata service or the Term Store since the other wiki site (pointing to the same exact Term Set) is working normally with no problems.

To solve the problem make sure that the template you are using for the current page (with errors) has the same content type as the page. In example of the Enterprise Wiki page, I forgot to set the content type to an Enterprise Wiki page on a custom page
template I just added to the Master pages.
So what I had to do is:
go to properties of the page with errors described above and set it to be
    Enterprise Wiki page
go to master pages and set the custom template to be of the same type, Enterprise Wiki page
    That solved the problem

  • Invalid field in parameter list. (0x26, 0x00)

I was archiving my old family videos and making a nice movie of them in final cut express. I exported them the same as I always do and created a menu using the reflections theme in iDVD. The movie was big so I adjusted the settings for DVD+R DL as I hae done before and clicked burn. I use and external Sony DVD Burner that is wonderful and has never given me any trouble.
After about ten hours I came back and there was an error message.
    Burning Finished
Errors were found during the burning process
    OK
When I clicked on the down arrow this appeared...
The recording device reported the illegal request: Invalid field in parameter list. (0x26, 0x00.)
So i clicked ok and this appeared...
    Multiplexor Error
There was a problem during multiplexing/burning
    ok
So I clicked ok and took the dvd to try and play it in a DVD player, obviously it wouldnt work so I quit iDVD and restarted my mac. I tried the process agian with another DVD and after 10 hours, same message and same result. So I went to the store and got sony DVDs (I was using memorex ones), but still, even with sony's DVDs I go tht esame message.

  • Invalid field format (screen error) on Table Control

    Hello,
When selecting a line or multiple lines on a screen made by me(using a Table Control), I get Invalid field format (screen error). Debugging the code it sends the message when looping the internal table on PAI to check if there were values changed. Is there a reason why this error appears on this?
      loop at it_values.
        chain.
          field pvalues-BEGDA.
          module CHANGE_QUEUE.
        endchain.
      endloop.
    Thanks.

No need to loop to check whether data is changed after PBO, just check System Field SY-DATAR, it will be set to 'X' if any field was changed.
    So the following code is enough;
    IF SY-DATAR EQ 'X'.
       PERFORM SAVE_DATA.
    ENDIF.

  • "Invalid Field Name" Error message on Client System

    Hi all,
I have installed some addons  on server, and the same is installed on client systems as well. on server everything works well. But when it comes to client systems, one particular form shows an error message, "Invalid Field Name", on loading the form.
I have the same .srf's as on server but still the problem persists. If anybody knows the cause of the problem, please let me know what could be the reason.
    Regards,
    Rohan S. Kamble.

    Hi Rohan,
Are you sure you have the same version of DI (also addon) on your client and your server side?
Reinstall the addon on your client, check if the problem still happens.

    Hi
experts i am doing module in whichi had many check boxes on screen and each check box has function code means i want to do some thing else . but as i click the first or any other check box i get a error message
    INVALID FIELD FORMAT (SCREEN ERROR).
Can anyody help me with this asnwers will be rewarded points .

    Dear Farukh,
can you please let me know how have you declared you check boxes.
how did you handle the click or the function codes in the user command module in your PAI.
The declaration of your fucntion codes can be done when you create your screen fields and then they need to be handled in the user command module i.e what you want to do when suppose you click on that particular check box.

  • Invalid field format (screen error)

We are using custom module pool report for displaying information. Information display in Table control which has also Radio button option for the further processing. After unicode conversion we are getting error while accessing the screen as "Invalid field format (screen error)" when user select Radio button. In production environment we are not facing any issue, but in Dev + Qas we have this issue. Nothing is changed as all environment are sync. To solve the issue we re-defined the Radion screen element, but no success we are still getting same error. I am not sure whether it is related to Page Format or something else. Could you please let me know whether anybody faced this issue ? For the information, I already searched on SDN and SNote, but there is no post or SNote

Have you checked if there are overlapping fields on the screen.
I've seen simular errors and usually it was beacuse of some change by SAP that made it so that the defined length of the screen field was suddenly to small.
I'm not saying that this is the case in your situation, but it never hurts to try and change the length of your screen field and see if that resolves the issue.

    -Sasi

    Hi Sasi,
Export-SPWeb is used to export a site, list, or library rather than a site collection. The Identity of the command should be a site.
Based on your description, my understanding is that you want to export a site and import it to aother site. Is it right?
I run your command using the URL of my site instead of the
http://SitecollectionURL/, everything worked well. Please re-run the command below:
    Export-SPWeb -Identity <URL of your site> -Path "F:\filename.bak" -IncludeUserSecurity -Compression 1024 -IncludeVersions 4
In addition, please try to export the site via Central Administration->Backup and Restore->Export a site or list under Granular Backup, and select the site collection and the site, then  click ‘Start Export’. If you want to import the exported
site to another site, you should use Import-SPWeb command.
    About Export-SPWeb command:

    I hope this helps.

  • Dialog Screen - Invalid field format (screen error)

    Dear all,
I have developed a modal dialog screen and succesfully invoked it with CALL SCREEN command in the main screen.  Unfortunately, it always returns "Invalid field format (screen error)" when clicking on the dialog's GUI control such as button or radio button.  Anyone encountered this before??
    Regards,

    Hi KK,
Just make sure that the fields take on the screen are also declared in the top module of your program.
And also match their data-types and size i.e., declared in top module and on the screen in their respective attributes.
    Hope this solves your problem.

  • Search Help error : Invalid field format Screen error

    Hi All,
I have attached a search help to contract field for contract no and item number. (in my own screen developed in a  report)
The search help picks up data and assigns it to the fields,
But after this when I click on any other button, I get error saying :
<b>Invalid Field Format (Screen Error) !!!</b>
    Any pointers guys !!!
    Warm Regards,
    Girish

screen checks in abapautomatically checks for format of field when u enter data....i.e date, integer etc...the problem in this case is that when u seelct a value using the help it is filling a value which is not the correct format...so check for the data types and test it again...this is definitely the problem.

  • Exception message, failed to get value, could not load managed metadata, invalid field name

Hi, i have created some site collection columns with managed metdata and taxonomy term sets. I have then created some site content types of those site columns. Some of them function properly and some don't.
When i have created or uploaded a document to the document library i start to "tag" the document by first choosing witch conent type i want too use, but when it comes to save the document it renders an error message(its not the full content
