Waveform Chart - How to set X scale time.

I have a Waveform chart (v6.1) and I want it to display 30 seconds of data. What is the correlation between the Time History buffer and the Time inputed on the X-scale. The X-scale format is set to Relative Time. I set the initial time to 0:00. The input data is coming in at 20 samples/sec also. How do I set up the chart to show only 30 sec of data.

You can turn Auto scale off and set the left value to 0 and right value to 0:30.
A second method is to set the chart history length to 600 (20 samples per second * 30 seconds). Setting the chart history length can only be done at design time.

how to set date and time on apple tv

Assuming this is not the first time you have used your Apple TV
        1.    You might try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
        2.    Also try restarting the router.
        3.    If the problem persists, try a restore, you may want to try the previous procedures several times before doing this.
If this is a new Apple TV, it may also be that your network router is not allowing access to the timeserver, check that your router allows access over port 123.

  • How to set the correct time scale of VI ?

I created a VI to display waveforms on the waveform graph. The problem is the time scale of the VI is always the year 1904.I tried to select absolute time in Property options of the waveform, but it remained the same. Can anybody help me with this? Thanks.

    >
Your description doesn't give enough information to pinpoint the
problem, so I'll list off a few things that could be going on.
The graphs and charts accept many datatypes. If you are using the
waveform, display it on a regular waveform indicator and see what the
timestamp and deltaT are. If these are correct, then the graph should
be able to display things with no further changes except that you may
need to turn on X Scale Autoscaling so that it will zoom and shift to
show the plotted data. Charts will shift, but by default will not zoom
in, and it might make sense there sometimes too depending on the delta T
    and amount of data plotted.
If the timestamp on the waveform is incorrect, then it is much easier to
construct the properly marked waveform than make the graph add to it to
    label the waveform's time differently.
If you are not using the waveform, then you may be using a cluster of
X0, dX, and Y array wired to the graph. This is very similar to the
waveform, and again, it is better to add offsets to get the X0 to
display correctly on a numeric. You can extract this number or display
the cluster in an indicator, then format the numeric to display absolute
    time.
If you are simply wiring the Y array, then LV will construct the X
values based upon the number of points beginning at 0 and incrementing
by one by default. When displayed as absolute time, this will default
to midnight Jan 1 2004 plus an offset based upon your timezone. In this
case, since there is no X information being piped into the graph, it is
better corrected by going to the graph properties for the X Scale and
setting the X Offset to the seconds between now and 1904. This is a
constant you can compute when your program starts up or you can use a
calculator, whichever is easier. You will also likely want to set the X
Multiplier to the deltaT between successive points. 0.001 for 1KHz, 1
    for 1Hz, etc.
Finally, if these suggestions don't make sense or don't help, you might
want to explain more about what doesn't work.

  • How to set print scale in Safari 3.1.2?

When I try to print a web page in Safari, the printer page shows "Scale: 62%" every time. I can manually change it, but I'd prefer the default to be: Scale 100%. It would be a real time saver. I can't figure out how to set a default Scale %. Thanks in advance for an assist.

No, I'm not printing the same page. I rarely do. However, I visit various web sites and make PDFs or print items of interest. This is part of my work and it would be a huge time saver to be able to set a default scale to 100%. That scale fills the page and it uses more pages, but the type size when using 62% is often too tiny to be useful when it is printed or saved as a PDF file.

  • How to set up the Time Capsule as an access point

    Hi there,
I have home office and am having wifi-connectivity issues due to the layout of my home.
I'm getting the electrician to set up ethernet outlets in various rooms in my house so that I can get wired connections in several rooms. What I want to do is connect my Time Capsule to one of those ethernet ports (see the diagram below) so that I can still broadcast a wi-fi signal in my house while having wired connections elsewhere.

In my research in how to set this up, I've come across documentation that shows how to convert an old Netgear/Linksys wifi router to an access point. Here's an example of the documentation I've run across: http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless/wireless-basics/30338-how-to-convert-a-w ireless-router-into-an-access-point. What I haven't encountered is how to do this with a Time Capsule.
    Here are my questions:
Do I just follow these instructions and substitute "Time Capsule" where the author references "AP"?
I currently have my network set up through the Time Capsule. Here are some of the things that I currently have set up and corresponding questions:
all computers can access the printer via wifi - under the above setup, will all computers (connected to the new network via wired OR wireless access) still have access to the printer?
I have my macbook set up as a media center for my xbox and PS3. The Xbox and PS3 connect to my macbook and access the movie files that I have saved on my Time Capsule and a 2nd HDD that is connected to the Time Capsule via USB - under the above setup, will I still be able to access those movies with my PS3 and Xbox via the macbook media center software?
Thanks a ton for any help or advice. It's much appreciated.

Excellent.. great to see people doing the job properly and wiring ethernet.
    Here are my questions:

Apple system is slightly different.. although the AP method would work the TC has a programmed state for placing it in AP mode.
    And Apple even documented it.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4260
The difference in your system, is you are not using an Apple primary router (I presume) but otherwise the same.
Any router setup as WAP, you bridge the router part.. and you use Same wireless name.. same security setting (WPA2 Personal is WPA2 AES and the only one suitable). Same passkey..
I would add one difference to the apple insstructions.. they depend on auto wireless channels working. IMHO, auto anything in wireless is akin to voodoo black arts and has more to do with beads and rattles than science. It works fine in some case.. terrible in others.. lock it down. Set the wireless yourself.. at 2.4ghz there are only 3 non overlapping channels.. 1, 6, 11 .. if you use 300mbit N on the main router, it will use 2 of those channels.. choose the third for the TC.
Of course the TC can also use 5ghz.. and I lock it down as well but that is more my control freak nature.. and strong skeptism of anything auto in the wireless world.
I currently have my network set up through the Time Capsule. Here are some of the things that I currently have set up and corresponding questions:

Your number auto changed.. fun isn't it when i edit it shows correctly but when I post it changes the format.
On the new setup the printer will still be available to all clients .. whether wireless or wired.
And to second part, yes, all file access is not going to change.. well I don't predict any.. IP of the system might change around but overall you are creating a single flat network. And that will work fine.

  • How to set a specific time zone for time channel in DIADEM

    Hi,
I'd like to know how to autmatically set a specific time zone for time channels in DIADEM.
For example, I have stored data with corresponding time channel in UTC time on a disk which was collected in another time zone. Now I want to analyze this data and I want the time channel to show the local time in the time zone where the data was collected, and not the time in the local time zone where the computer is located.
The time channel should also take site local summer/winter time into account. Now I'm running a script that handles it for me which adds or subtract hours according to my input. The problem is that I'm handling data from several different time zones and I'm not located in any of them and when you're running a lot of data over a greater time period, it's easy to make mistakes, especially when it comes to summer/winter time. Is there a any clever solution to this already implemented in Diadem that I have not found?

    Hi hj77,
No, I'm sorry, DIAdem has no time zone functionality at all.  I'm afraid you have no choice in DIAdem but to keep running your scripts.  Summer and Winter time are truly tricky, because the rules for when the changes occur are different in different countries and states within countries and also can change from year to year within the SAME country (as they did in the US a few years ago).

I have a Canon Reble XTI, and would like to know how to set the self timer

If you don't have a copy of your manual, you'll want to download a copy.  You can get it from this page:  http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/eos_slr_camera_systems/eos_digital_slr_cameras/digita...
The instructions are on page 49 -- but really you should ready through the manual.  You'll learn a lot of capabilites of the camera that are worth knowing that you'd likely miss if you don't read it.
There is a button on the back of your camera near the right edge of the LCD screen and it has an icon of a clock.  If you press that button, you can use the left/right arrows to enable the self-timer.
It's a 10-second self-timer but it also puts the camera in a mode which allows it to be triggered via Canon's IR remote.
the current remote (which still works with your camera) is the Canon RC-6... it's not expensive -- just one button and it triggers the camera via IR.
