Waves plugins in Premiere CS5 (Mac) not loading.

I have the Waves "Masters" plugins and would like to use them in Premiere CS5 for Mac. Problem is that they do not load.
Here's what the "Plugin Loading.log" file says about it:
Scanning /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST and sub-directories
Loading /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/WaveShell-VST 8.0.vst
The registry tells us to cache so the plugin will be loaded from the cache.
The plugin is marked as Ignore, so it will not be loaded.
What does this means?

I don't know anything about Waves "Masters" plugins,
but if they're not 64bit versions they won't work.
Waves "Masters" plugins 64 bit

  • Directx 11 and now Premiere CS5 will not work.

I finally got my ATI 5770 working with Directx 11 and now Premiere CS5 will not work

I just installed what I thought was Directx 11.  The latest file update I downloaded is only 9. dxwebsetup.exe from Microsofts web.
I have a Dell XPS 8100.  I was on the phone with AMD/ATI, DELL, and XFX.  Dell said the card was an ATI, and AMD/ATI said that ATI now just makes the chips.  I tried Sapphire ATI 5770 and they didn't work, then I tried a program the took off all the drivers and I got the Dell drivers from the web, thinking that they are on OEM and with the DP Adapter, I finally got the 3rd ATI Eyefinity monitor to work. I tried Cuty of Duty and it worked for a couple of minutes.  I'm not into games, but I like the three monitors for learning software. One monitor is the video training and one is the software and the other is the Internet or an ebook.
Now Premiere doesn't like anything. I tried going back to one monitor, and different resolutions. I had two monitors working at one time on this computer. I like the Time line monitor window on it's own monitor and the rest of Premiere on the left monitor.
    I was reading that Premiere likes 1280 x 900. That is not a mode on the ATI 1280 x 960 or 1280 x 1024.
Could it be the latest Directx it installed or the fact the Display Port is in the card?

  • Photoshop CS5 does not load with Lion upgrade

The pop-up note says java runtime is needed but internet connection is not detectable. Diagnostics say internet connections exists. CS5 operated well on Snow Leopard for my intel i-mac. Any ideas why CS5 applications will not load on Lion OS?

Hi, Have you tried to manually download it from the Apple Support Page?
If that didn't work, have you tried to download it on another computer and transfer it and install it?
I've found an KB article from Adobe that lists known issues with Adobe products on Mac OS 10.7 Lion.
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/905/cpsid_90508.html
    I use Mac OS X 10.6.8 and Adobe CS5.

  • Plugins in Mediacore folder does not load

    Hey, guys.
I installed my Afterfx and Premiere in "D:\program files\Adobe", and MBLooks plugin, it was installed in the folder "D:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore" automatically, but it was not loaded by Afterfx and Premiere, then I move the plugin to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore", it's loaded.
So anyone can explain this and give a sulotion.Sorry for my English.
    Shen

This forum is manned by volunteers so sometime it takes time for a reply. It is always best with Adobe products to install in the default location. Splitting up library files and program files is never a good idea. You should install all Adobe products on your boot drive in the default program files folder.
I'm not saying you can't try installing on a different drive, just saying that this is not recommended and in your case, is not working.

  • Transitions in Premiere elements 10 not loading

Transitions in Premiere elements 10 will not load, everything else seems to be working well but when I click on Edit Transitions it just gets stuck on loading or the whole program stops working. Have downloaded the latest driver for the graphics card AMD HD 5600 Windows is up to date CS5 works on the same machine no problems at all. Is there something I am not doing correctly?

    Welcome to the forum.
Along with Steve's suggestions, and as many of those Transitions are animated, I would check that you have the latest video driver installed. Do not trust Windows to tell you if your video driver is up to date - check on the card's/chip's mfgr's. Web site.
What make/model video card/chip do you have?
What is the verson/date of your video driver?
    Good luck,

  • Premiere Elements 9 not loading the workkspace or projects

Hi, I am new to the forum.
Have recently pruchased Premiere Elements 9 along with Photoshop Elements 9 and installed. PE9 works perfectly. Premiere Elements worked once but since then will not load the Workspace or a Project. Have uninstalled and re-installed in various modes as suggested by Adobe Support to no avail. Have downloaded the Trial Version also and this also will not load a workspace. Have 2 conmputers, a Desktop and a Laptop and as far as I am aware they are both up to date but perhaps I am not computer literate enough to know.  Adobe Support suggest I try the forum so perhaps they are as confused as I am. Any help out there.

    Bill
Many thanks for your advice over the last few days.
I use both a Laptop and a Desktop, but all my video editing is done on my
Laptop. This allows me to take my projects with me when at my Caravan or to
the video club that I am a member of.
The problem appears to be that on my Laptop my HDD capacity is only 100GB
and my free space is only 15GB even without installing Premiere Elements 9.
All my files are stored on my external HDD and its drive letter is set at G:
Itr's capacity is 700GB with currently 522GB free space. I delete all files
after completing a project and defragment
I also wanted to instal Premiere Elements 9 on my desktop but the HDD
Capacity on C: Drive is only 60GB with 14 GB free space and on the D: drive
again it is only 60GB with free space of 44GB.
I think your advice suggests that I need new computers?
    Regards
    Frank
    Frank,
I do not recall if you have a laptop, or desktop computer, but if the
latter, adding another, physical HDD (Hard Disk Drive) is quite easy, and
    inexpensive.
With SATA HDD's, when one gets to about 70% of capacity, they begin to slow
down. At 90%, the slowdown is quite noticeable, regarding the I/O
performance. Near 100%, drive failure is common.
The general recommended amount of defragmented free space is 20 - 30 GB, and
I recommend around 40 - 60 GB, to allow the drive some headroom to work with
the large working files, necessary in video-editing. This is above the Video
Assets, and the output AV files.
An external HDD is very useful when editing, but some considerations must be
made. A USB external is good for archiving, but little else. That connection
is very slow, and many users also experience read/write errors, when trying
to edit to/from those. In severe cases, this has resulted in the total loss
of all data on those USB externals. FW-400 is more stable, albeit still very
slow. FW-800 has worked very well for me, and eSATA is even better,
providing real-world performance akin to internal SATA HDD's.
If editing to/from the FireWire, or eSATA external, one should set its drive
letter permanently in the OS of the computer, so that it always appears as
    the same drive letter.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Indesign CS5 will not load, it crashes

I am unable to load InDesign CS5 on a new MacBookPro with Yosemite 10.10.1, can this be fixed?

How did you install it? Migration doesn’t work.
If that’s what you did, uninstall, run the cleaner tool, and reinstall it correctly.
And please take note the CS5 is not supported under Yosemite. If it still isn’t working, I’m afraid you’re on your own.

  • Flash CS5 Could not load scene into memory. Your document may be damaged.

    Hello everyone!
Just bought the new CS5 Flash and was eager to begin my first document. I opened a new document Saved As to begin and then setup my basic page with only one imported graphic. Hit Save and received an error message: Could not load scene into memory. Your document may be damaged. When I closed and reopened the document this same error appears twice in my Output Menu.
I have noticed other people with several of simular issues and am not sure where to start to find an answer. Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Biddler1

Thought I'd add to this since I have a file with a similar problem. I'm carrying the files home to work on in the evening. I've noticed at work that when I update an image in the library flash shows me a path going all the way out to the root of the network share and then back to the file. The file is just one folder away. Maybe Flash has recorded an absolute path instead of a relative path to the asset.
At home, Flash can't find the asset at all since it's recorded a non-portable path.
The question is, if the asset has been imported to the project file, why is flash checking the original in the first place?

  • Premiere Pro CS6 not loading/linking preview files - any suggestions?

    MacPro 2010, 16-core, 2.66 GHz, 32GB RAM, Quadro 4000, OS X 10.7.4
When I save a Project and then reopen it, Premiere Pro CS 6.01 does not load the Preview Files from the Renders.  I have checked the specified Preview Files location and the files are there.
In order to work, I must render the entire Project again - which is too time-consuming and counter-productive.
Am I doing something wrong?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem. I've done many projects in CS6 and this is the first time it's happened. FIrst half of the timeline was fine but the second half of the timeline, that was previously fully rendered, couldn't locate the preveiw files. The preview files are still in the preview folder but it doesn't see them in the timeline anymore. How do you delete those preview files since they are no longer recognized in the timeline? I know you can manually delete them in the preview folder by playing them and matching them to the video clips in the timeline.

  • "Media Pending" in Premiere CS5 (But not After Effects)

    Hi All
I've seen links referring to this problem for CS4 but the solution did not seem to resolve the CS5 issue.
I can playback an MPEG file in After Effects CS5 but not in Premiere. Trying to export to a Premiere project made the system to hang and required a re-boot when opening in Premiere.
The video was renamed from a JVC .TOD file to a .MPEG file and plays back fine in Windows Media player, without any other files associated with it.
Strange that other apps play it fine and premiere not. Any suggestions?
    Thanks

As a matter of interest, in case anyone else gets the same issue...
Having opened the file in After Effects, re-booted and re-started Premiere, the file now plays back in Premiere. Even though I'd restarted Premiere several times, it appears that only after starting and opening the file in AE did the codec somehow get "registered" in Premiere...
    Anyway, problem solved....

  • Premiere CS4 will not load timelines

I have been working on a project will several sequences.  Today when I load project to contine
working on them, the timeline will not load.  I can view the sequence in the Program Monitor,
but when I double click it does not open the timeline at the bottom of the screen.  It does nothing!  HELP!!!

I can view the sequence in the Program Monitor,
If you can view the sequence in the program monitor you probably have the timeline working but cant see it.  have you changed your view settings where the timeline might be hidden from you ?  Maybe try using "editing" view or "reset" your view to the default ?
maybe post a screenshot of what you are seeing when you open cs4...

Someone help me out here another thing i just ened up doing on accedent is now my computer wants to open the folder session file using Photoshop cs5 uhhg this is getting frustrating!

I  have tried and tried to edit the  registry and Even tried to figure out  how to put Adobe Premiere Cs5 In  My OTHER PROGRAMS list on my open  with couldn't figure it out, I think  it has to do with my Adobe for  some reason being in my Programs Files  Folder rather than my Program  files (x86) Folder Maybe I installed it  wrong i don't know But After  weeks of searching I cound this little Program.
It   finally let me change File Association and delete my old one So  FINALLY  I am able to double click my project and open it took about 15  minutes  to figure out but Im just glad after months of PHOTOSHOP  opening up  every time I double clicked that its fixed I Just Had
    Donwload the Program Run it
Scroll Down to my .prproj file
    Then Edit Selected File type
Under User Choice I Selected Application/adobepremierepro.exe
Then After I selected it it shows up in a second menu on the bottom so
I Double Click it again and Make sure Default Action is Selected
    Boom Im back to work....
I wish I would have knew how easy this was weeks ago!
I Hope this Helps Someone else who is having the same problem
