Way to stop being signed out?

I'm sick and tired of having, "You have been automatically signed out due to inactivity. Please sign in again", notices. Is there a way to stop having to continually sign in?

Assuming you are talking about here on the forums, you can set a timed refresh value in your profile under General Settings. I have mine set to 2 minutes, I never get logged out except when I leave myself viewing a thread for an extended period of time. If I leave it on the main forum index or the index for an individual forum the page refreshes regularly.

Not in Safari, The timeout length is ±30 minutes. I found that it is particularly annoying when composing a post, as it will not Post when logged out in the middle of composition.
I use Firefox and a FF add-on called "Reload Every" - applied to a tab or window, I set it to 'Custom' 20 minutes. You must apply it every time you start FF (from the 'context' menu (ctrl+click). Note that the Tab or window needs to remain open at all times (could hide it in the Dock) for it to work. I haven't been logged out since adding it to FF
The very good reason for the login timeout is that some people use their devices in very public places - school, work, coffee shop, etc. - and may walk away from it (particularly a desktop) for a period Because AppleID is used in the iStore(s), being logged in may become a security risk,

If these are the free versions of the games, buy the full version and the iAds should go away. The developer can offer the app for free by selling advertising. If the developer is going to give the app away, he has to be paid for his work somehow.
There may be some paid apps that might include iAds as well. In those instances, the developer includes the ads in order to subsidize the cost of the app to the end user in order to reduce the cost of the app. You should always read the app description when you download any app to make sure that you know what you are getting into - with regard to ads and in-app purchases.
Games are the worst offenders - IMO. Many "free" games become totally useless after you reach a certain level or if you reach your limit in lives or potions or things like that. If you want to continue in the game, you than have to make in-app purchases for levels, lives, potions, beads, whatever. You can rack ip quite a bill playing those "free" games if you are not aware of what you are getting into.

Being signed out **while I'm using the forums**

I know these forums automatically log you out when you close the browser and don't have an option to stay logged in, but they are now doing something even more annoying, I'm am being signed out while I using the forums!!! Sometimes, this can be a little as a 5 minutes after I signed in
I can be reading through a thread when, for no obvious reason, the browser window blanks and the page reloads - and I've been signed out.
This is a real PITA. Is anyone else seeing this?

I tend to use Firefox for everyday stuff and have used version 3 through 13 on various OS versions form Panther through Lion.
I occasionally sign in via Safari again across several versions without any issues.
I have an issue in Lion where the wireless Mouse that came with my iMac is a bit over sensitive to me trying to take hold of it for corrections and interpreting my finger movements and scrolling strokes.
This causes the "Do you want to Leave Page" message that I can not always get rid of.
Force Quitting will solve the drop down not accepting I don't want to leave, for about 20- 30 presses but Firefox will actually login in automatically when I restart it.
I would tend to look for "Breaks" in your Internet service, particularly if you are using WiFi as this can be upset by interference from other nearby routers.

Randomly being signed out of iMessage... Help!

I have an iPad 2. I am able to sign into iMessage without s problem. randomly it signs me out without telling me so when i go to log in it asks me to input my password and then logs me back into iMessage. Do you know how to stop this from happening? One of the last times it signed me out and I verified my email it deleted all my existing conversations (which is the only time that's happened).

Since restoring from backup did not work I know of no way except to cut and paste them from the MacBook.

Has anyone come up with a way to stop Earpods falling out?

Apparently (according to the Ad) these Earpods are actually designed for all ears. Though they sound pretty good, actually comparable to my old Bose IE2 headphones, sadly, they just fall out. One ear is worse than the other but essentially unusable. There must be a way to put them in a silicon cover thing like the Bose. Just hope Apple do as I have read quite a few posts already, to be fair, trade descriptions are being contravened. I’d understand if I had mutated ‘lugholes’ but they really aren’t

I have worked out way of modifying the earpods so they don't fall out. I cut 4-5mm off the big ends of some ear plugs, punched holes in them with a ring-binder paper punch then glued them to the tips of the earpods with loctite 406 (a superglue type of adhesive that works with some plastics). Only use a small amount of the glue though or the ear plugs will soak it up and get too hard to be comfortable. When the glue has set, compress the earplug material as much as possible, then push the earpod ito your ear and hold it in place for 30 seconds or so to let the foam expand, then the earpod won't keep falling out.

Delete the opm.db file.
Launch Creative Cloud.
#Solution 3: Reinstall Creative Cloud and clean up cached user login information.
Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud. Windows
Open the Windows Control Panel > Programs And Features.
Choose Adobe Creative Cloud and click Uninstall/Change.
Follow the onscreen instructions.
Mac OS
Open Finder and go to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.
Double-click Adobe Creative Cloud to remove.
Follow onscreen instructions.
Repeat the steps from Solution 2.
Launch Creative Cloud.

Being immediately signed out of Creative Cloud

I know others have been having similar problems – being signed out of CC as soon as they have tried to sign in – and I have tried the fixes. I know that the latest advice is to quit the desktop application at which point a new version of the app should download and work but it doesn’t. I know my id and password are correct as I have used them successfully to reach this forum. Still – everytime I try and sign into Creative Cloud, I am signed out straight away. And yes – have uninstalled and then reinstalled the app from the web. Apps seem to work ok but there’ve been no updates via the CC desktop for sometime. Anyone actually got a fix that fixes?

Which OS are you using. Please update to the latest CC desktop from: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud, try to sign in again and let us know if the issue still persists.
Try the solution that others have mentioned previously:
Open the Adobe Application Manager (AAM).
If applicable, let AAM complete any automatic updates and restart itself.
Sign in with your Adobe ID. (Optionally, you can close AAM at this point.)
Open a CS6 application (e.g. InDesign CS6).
If prompted (e.g. you get the trial screen), click "License This Software" and sign in with your Adobe ID.
You are no longer signed into your Creative Cloud applications
Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app

Cannot connect to Itunes, status bar goes about half way and stops. I have tried all the fixes other people have used, no joy. Running Vista with the most recent Itunes installed. Disabled fire wall and anti virus software. Once again, I have tried it all

Itunes won't connect, status bar goes about half way and stops, then times out. I have tried all fixes posted, you name it, I have done it. Running Vista and current version of Itunes. Can connect to Internet with any other app. Using Firefox, their latest version if that matters.
I have seen this is an on going problem throughout the Itunes community. All I can say is 'Bad Form Apple, Bad form.'

One more odd thing. The itunes diagnostics believes my windows firewall is on which is it not (believe me I've checked/double checked etc) AND believes itunes is not enable in windows firewall which it is, if ever I turned WF on. How can itunes get this wrong? I mean, if itunes believes its being blocked, maybe that's why I'm being blocked...has anyone heard of this?

Without finding out the credentials (Apple ID, password) of the previous owner, you cannot unlock nor activate the device for use under your own Apple ID. this is to prevent/deter theft of iPhones & iPads.
You need to contact the place of purchase to find out if they can contact the previous owner to have it removed from their Apple ID so it can be used by yourself. they can do it without having access to the device as outlined here:

Currently we are converting all suppliers with their real email ids. Is there a way to stop emails going out to external mail domains? This issue will arise as soon as someone run the payments and then vendor will automatically start receiving the emails from our test environment.

I think XDO Bursting (Delivery) is using a separate mailer (not the standard Java mailer configuration).

Does Skype on Android ever sign out?

I have been having a multitude of problems with Skype on both Android and Windows, I'll stick with Android here. System Specs:Samsung Galaxy SIII (Sprint)Model SPH-L710Stock ROMAndroid Version 4.1.2 Oftentimes I will receive messages marked as having been sent 'now' when in fact they were sent at a previous time and I already saw them on my Windows client. It's a minor issue, but slightly frustrating when trying to keep a conversation in order. Signing out... Where to start? Does Skype ever sign out properly on an Android handset? I will very often receive notifications about missed messages when I know for a fact that I had signed out of Skype. Here is a screenshot showing my notification bar when I am signed into Skype: The Skype icon is visible, and filled in. Obviously I am signed in. Ok, no problems here. Now here is a screenshot of of a message notification. You might notice something is missing:
That's right. I am now receiving message notifications while I am not signed into Skype on my phone. This is really annoying, and mildy creepy. There really is no rhyme or reason I can discern as to when or why I receive message notifications while being 'signed out'. I get them after signing out. I get them before signing in. Hell, sometimes I get them as soon as I reboot my phone and I am definitely not signed in then. Another problem I have been having, but I don't have any screenshot for yet, is that Skype will tell me that either I or the person I am talking to has added other people to conversation who we've previously had group conversations with. Reverting to this more reliable older Skype 4.0.0.22082 version, resolved the problem for many of us with smart-phones. Others, usually with tablets, reported that Skype 3.2.0.6673, better suited their needs. If you have a smart-phone, tap the link of the former Skype, or the latter if you have a tablet. If your first choice does not meet your needs, the other would be worth trying. Before tapping the downloaded apk file to install the selected Skype, uninstall the current Skype, disable the Play Store “Auto-update apps” option, and enable the Android Settings (from) “Unknown sources” option. Once installed, disable the “Unknown sources” option. Be sure to try any future Skype release, indicated by a change of release date on the Google Play Store Skype “UPDATE” page. If the new Skype is unsatisfactory, revert to the older Skype using the saved apk file. You can choose an even earlier Skype version if you feel that this would be beneficial. To date. I have not experienced any security problems with any of the above web links. Please be sure to post another reply to let me know how you go with the installation.
