WBS Element In header DATA

Dear Experts,
Is it possible if i give WBS element in Header Account assignment which inturn copies to Account assigmnet in the line items.
Kindly let me know if there is any standard process.

All the Line items in the sales order are Same ...
i must have to maintain WBS manually in the item account assignmnet..... i dont want to that .. when i enter in the header data it must automatically copy to line items also with the WBS element entered in the header DATA.
Now it is not happening .. if i enter in the header data it is not updating in item data.

Hi all,
I have a custom program -> which creates service order against notification. My program uses BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to create orders.
When these order are created - i need to update WBS element in Additioal data(CAUFVD-PSPEL) tab of on order. In which paramenter and how should we pass to acheive this.
Even i could not go for BDC as the order number at this point is not created.
Please let me know.

request kindly let me know, which standard report gives the details of
created on
             Project Definition or
             WBS Element or
             Network
I am checked up the available standard reports, created by is available but created on is not available.
pl help if any one knows which PS report gives this information.

Field "created on" is not delivered in the standard reports.
Sunil's suggestion is quite a good option. You can also consider adding the field
to your report's layout by means of a modification. In note 43493 you will find all the necessary steps and details to do so.

   We want to install the Project Systems and the requirement is to report on the following fields:
Project Definition (Project Definition   PROJ     PSPID)
Project Definition (PS Short Description PROJ     POST1)
Project Definition (System Status CNJ_STAT     STTXT_INT)
WBS Element         (Project Type       PRPS     PRART)
WBS Element         (Short ID             PRPS     POSKI)
WBS Element         (Person Responsible     PRPS     VERNR)
WBS Element         (Company Code     PRPS     PBUKR)
R/3 Table Names and Field names are in brackets.
0PROJECT_ATTR & 0PROJECT_TEXT are DataSources of 0PROJECT Master Data.
0WBS_ELEMT_ATTR & 0WBS_ELEMT_TEXT are DataSources of 0WBS_ELEMT Master Data.
How can I find the transaction data for those above fields, PLEASE ?

Reg WBS Element in Sales Order Line Item For Sales Order BOM

I have a requirement, in a Sales Order I am Exploding BOM. After that Projects will be Created.
Once Project will be created i need to Assign WBS element for All Items in Sales Order.
My requirement is When I assign WBS element for Header Material (Parent Item) system will auto assign WBS for Child Items.
for this what Configuration I have to do.

Check in transaction VTFL for given item category what copying routine are set. Check those copy routine and see if there is any data is being copied from table VBAP
Similar to above also check transaction VTFA for copying routine (if any)
As a standard SAP even we create an invoice with reference to the delivery document, still there are some data which is being copied from a sales order i.e. all pricing relevant information is copied from your sales order and not from delivery.

In credit memo request " WBS element"

hi,
while creating credit memo request in va01 it is asking complete data "WBS Element" in item data accounting mgmt it has WBS element .i think its not relevant for SD

Hi,
Check out the Item category settings, U might have activate the special stock indicator Q in VOV7.
But technically if your credit memo request is with respect to some sales process which is related to Project and is triggered through project systems , ideally you would like to want to have the wBS element so that it gets upadted in the project report. Check out with the Client and then create a WBS element which is billing relevant. Otherwise it will throw up an error at the time of saving the billing document and the accouting document will not get generated.
If you dodnot want the credit memo detaisl to be updated at the project level remove the special stock indicator from the Item category of the Credit memo

User Exit - adding defualt WBS Element in addi.tab for IW31 - Servi.Order

I am facing a problem with adding WBS Element in Addit.Data tab for Service Order creation using IW31.
At the time of creating service order using TCODE IW31, I have to maintian default values like WBS ELEMENT, for this I am using a USER EXIT "IWO10010".
The problem is getting dump error. Becuase, it is NUMC type and I am passing the value with character + numeric. Like "EX/1232/22".
Field length is NUMC - 8.
"CAUFVD-PSPEL"
If I create manually without using user exist, the field WBS Element is accepting the value and service order is creating successfully with WBS Element.
This is also same as CAUFVD-PSPEL.
I Couldn't understand How the SAP system will works?
Any solution for this.
Note: Creating Service Order IW31, Passing WBS Element with user exist with same field (CAUFVD-PSPEL) giving dump error showing "Passing Character values". If I create manually, and enter character + numeric in the same field CAUFVD-PSPEL, system creating service order without any error.

How to update the value in wbs element in the iw32

Hi All,
Can anyone help me in providing the USER EXIT OR BADI at the time of saving the IW31 / IW32 work order creation or Change. I need to populate the PSPEL ( WBS ELEMENT in Additional data tab with the value coming from Field Exit.
Here is my analysis on the same.
I have written Field Exit for Settlement Receiver field in Maintain Settlement SCREEN à 1 and Exporting the value.
IMPORT the same value into Variable and need to pass the value to PSPEL field ( WBS ELEMENT ) in Additional Data Tab using any USER EXIT or BADI at the time of save Work Order .
I tried to use the USER EXIT u201CEXIT_SAPLCOIH_009u201D and passed Manually at the time of Debugging into CAUFVD-PSPEL and executed. But the Value is not appearing in the Screen after execution.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

         For customer project you should run the result anlaysis and this result anlaysis data you can settle to the COPA.
                             Then the settled data send to the value field which is given to the PA transfer strature in Settlement profile.
                                          The profit center is debited and credited .
                                           One controlling document is also generated which have cost reduced from WBS element to profibility segement.

As per current settings of M1 Notifications, WBS element in Location data tab is Mandatory. I nedd to undo this setting and make Maint Plant as mandatory. But I do not know how to do so..

Even after doing the above if your problem is not solved then the error is due to some enhancement made to your system.
That is not a Customisation issue.
Take help of an ABAPer and ask him to debug the same. He will be able to point out the exact problem. Also he will be able to point out where the problem is coming from. But you need to have a good ABAP guy.

WBS Element ( Billing element ) assignment at sales order header level

HI,
There is provision of assign WBS Element at sales order header as well as item level , If Project WBS Element is assigned for each line item delivery and stock updating is happening from the project, But WBSE will assign at sales order Header system will not allowing to create project delivery( moment type 601Q), and stock updation ftom project.
Please let me know how this will happen ,

SPRO - SD - Billing - Billing Plan - the first 5 config nodes (Define Billing Plan types / Define Date descriptions / Assign Date categories / Maintain Date Proposals / Assign Billing Plan types to Sales Doc types) are applicable to you.
this is pretty tranparent for a reference.

User Exit / BADI to change Project WBS Element/Task data

Hi,
We are using BAPI BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN to create Project in R/3. We are passing Company Code to Project Definition Structure ( BAPI_PROJECT_DEFINITION ). BAPI updates Header company code at line item ( WBS element / Task ) level also. We do not want company code at line item level.
Is any User Exit or BADI available in the above BAPI to change WBS/Task data. Also I would like to know whether we can control data flow ( from header to Line item ) through customisation.

Thanks. BADI WORKBREAKDOWN_UPDATE has import parameters. It does not have export parameters. I can not change import parameter data.
I am looking for user exit or BADI to change WBS/Task data.

How to fetch the data from the table COEP for WBS element,cost center,,,,,?

Hi,
I would like to retrive the data from the table COEP ,based on KOKRS,BELNR fields.
I need the output for Cost centre, cost element, wbs element,net work ,activity.
These values are storing OBJNR ,OBJNAR_1,OBJNR_2,OBJNR_N3.
But here always these field are not giving the correct values.
for example : for one record COST CENTRE vlaue is storing in OBJNR_1 field,
for one record COST CENTRE vlaue is storing in OBJNR_2 field,
for one record COST CENTRE vlaue is storing in OBJNR_3 field.
Here SAP has used a generic approach for this.
How can I dispaly the values in this case ?
