This is occuring on the Dialog node. I know it has something to do with KM but it is occuring so rapidly that the logs fillup 2 gig in minutes and I am unable to even login to the node. This is an SP12 system. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

We are experiencing the same problem with SP17. Nothing in the SAP Notes about LogicalLockingFactory.
Anyone, any idea?
Thank you in advance,
Todor

    when you have two WLS instances running pointing to the same ldap

  • AHT finds logic board error, but computer working fine

    I ran the Apple Hardware Test to see the profile for my RAM, but 7 seconds into the test it stopped and reported a logic board error.
    1. But my computer is working fine. If anyone has experience with this, I'll gladly take your advice. Do I ignore this error at my own risk? Or should I get it looked at now in case it's an early warning of something that can get worse? For the real Apple tech experts, here's the error code: 2I2C/1/1: 0x00000092.
    Eleven months ago, I had to get a new power supply installed. It was covered under the extended warranty for power issues with iMac G5s. As I've indicated, it's been working fine since then.
    2. Once AHT finds an error, it won't continue testing the remaining components. Does anyone know of a way to "force" the AHT to skip the logic board test and go on to test the other hardware items?
    Thanks all.

    Michael, pray tell, where does one find the published list of codes you refer to? I searched the whole internet (or so it seemed like it) looking for a resource like that. Are you an AASP?
    Even my experienced Apple technician and his AASP contacts didn't realize that my error code relates to the European Union. (And, BTW, I'm in Canada and I purchased my iMac from a store in Canada.) You have solved a mystery!
    The strange thing is that when I phoned Apple Tech Support and asked to speak to a product specialist, even they told me that the code means "logic board needs replacement." When I asked to speak to a higher dept., I was connected to Customer Relations (very nice, professional fellow answered). When I explained that this G5 iMac has been problematic for me (failure after 7 mos. of ownership, power supply failure after 3 yrs, etc.) he offered me $100.00 off a new iMac ($125.00 in Canada), which I accepted.
    I did use TechTool Pro to check the computer. It found no problems. Four months later and it's still going strong. I don't know whether to be upset with Apple for not bothering to look up the code, or whether I should look at this as a blessing in disguise (how else would I have received $125.00 off a new iMac? And now, my father gets a G5 that I can confidently say is in good working order). And it's strange that my local tech's AASP friends weren't any wiser. Aren't AASPs privy to this error code info? A mystery indeed...

  • Error while doing multiple object updation from EP ! object lock error

    HI all,
    I am doing multiple  object updation using a standard RFC(BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN). The RFC i am calling from Enterprise portal. I am sending data to RFC one by one. But the error i am getting is object is locked by user so data can't be save.
    Though i am using Lock and unlock method before and after calling RFC the project lock error comes up.
    What might be the reason
    regards
    sandeep

    Hi Sandeep,
    Is the RFC you use for locking in the same model as the bapi BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN? If it is not then you are using two connections for communication with the sap R/3 backend.
    You can do 2 things.
    1. You could add the RFCs for locking in the same model as the BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN
    2. Instead of adding the RFCs in one model synchronize the connections the models use as follows:
    IWDDynamicRFCModel model1 = (IWDDynamicRFCModel) WDModelFactory.getModelInstance(Model1.class);
    IWDDynamicRFCModel model2 = (IWDDynamicRFCModel) WDModelFactory.getModelInstance(Model2.class);
    model1.setConnectionProvider(model2);
    You can do this in the wdDoInit. This will make sure both models use the same connection but closing a connection will close both at the same time.
    The same problem applies to commit/rollback functionality.

    Jeschael

  • System Lock Error while reset & reversing the cleared document - FBRA

    Hi Experts,
    Currently using t-code FBRA, when user trying to reset & reverse the cleared document , they are facing "System Lock Error". We have analyzed on this issue and found SAP note no. u201C487347 u2013FBRA: Overflow of the lock table in production systemu201D . After implementation of this note, SAP has created one new transaction code, FBRA_LOAC.
    However, when we tried to reset & reverse the cleared document using t-code FBRA_LOAC, we face the same error.
    Can you help me to resolve this issue ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Manish

    Hi:
          We once faced these issue and got it resolved by extending parameter after extending the profile-parameter "enque/table_size", as per note note 13907. Do not forget the restart the server after extension.

    I want TSPITR ,during this operation i faced this deadlock error.
    Before that we faced roll backsegment error for that we applied follwing workaround .
    If i applied follwing workaround before every backup and restore .i didn't get any error .all things went successful.
    spool /tmp/Createtest.log
    connect / as sysdba
    REM Perform startup in case we are still down
    ALTER SYSTEM SET PROCESSES=500 SCOPE=SPFILE;
    SHUT IMMEDIATE;
    STARTUP MOUNT EXCLUSIVE;
    ALTER DATABASE ARCHIVELOG;
    ARCHIVE LOG START;
    ALTER DATABASE OPEN;
    connECT / as sysdba;
    alter system set undo_management = MANUAL scope=spfile;
    shutdown immediate;
    startup;
    Connect / as sysdba;
    DROP TABLE TEST123;
    create table test123 (t1 number, t2 varchar2(10));
    begin
    for i in 1.. 300000 loop
    insert into test values (i,'AAAAAAAAAA');
    end loop;
    end;
    delete test123;
    commit;
    alter system set undo_management = auto scope=spfile;
    shutdown immediate ;
    startup ;
    The above workaround we applied before creating tablespace and datafile ,after that we face some dead lock error while restore TSPITR .Did you need any more information

  • Creating logical locks generates two fm

    Hi Expert!,
      AS far I know, When we create logical locks in se11 transaction, two Function modules get generated by the the system.
    My Question is , is there any other Function module which gets generated by system?
    3rd FM?

    Hii  Mithilesh,
    When u create  a lock object In SE11 only 2 FMs  are generated by the system  that is "ENQUE" and "DEQUE" .as par  i know no third FM is generated automatically.
    regards,

  • Record lock error occurs randomly, when same task opened in 2 browser tabs

    I am having an ADF UI taskflow with two flows(paths):
    Flow1 - Edit DFF
    ProcessParameters ----> router---> IFEDIT---->SetEditedStatusAttribute MethodCall --> editDFFpage
    Flow2 - Manage DFF Accross All Modules
    ProcessParameters ----> router---> IFSEARCH---->SearchQuerypanel editbutton>SetEditedStatusAttribute MethodCall --> editDFFpage
    These two flows can be triggered from links in a task panel. Screenshot [http://act.us.oracle.com/~vmeka/lockerror/lockerror.JPG]
    the method call setEditedStatusAttribute, calls an EOImpl method to set an attribute.
    This in turn triggers lock() for all the associated EOs.
    In following scenario failure occurs:
    ->1. Click Edit DFF task and keep the web browser tab/window open - lock is acquired.
    ->2. Open http://localhost7101/ManageFlex-WebApp_Test-context-root/faces/ManageFlex in another tab/window and open the Edit DFF task. lock is acquired again.
    ->3. In the same tab re-run the page by removing session details suffix.
    Eg. http://dadvml0082.us.oracle.com:7108/ManageFlex-WebApp_Test-context-root/faces/ManageFlex?_afrLoop=19870268404083601&_afrWindowMode=0&_adf.ctrl-state=sbc4nhzgh_116
    Remove the end part that starts with ?_afrLoop= and press enter in the Address bar of browser. lock is acquired third time.
    ->5. This re-runs the page, open Edit task again
    ->6. Without pressing cancel , open Manage DFF task
    ->7. Do not perform any search operation and open Edit FF task again. lock is acquired fourth time.
    ->8. Repeat steps 5-7 a few number of times
    In step 5 or 7 I am hitting an exception with following message
    JBO-26030: Failed to lock the record, another user holds the lock.
    stack: (complete stack at [http://act.us.oracle.com/~vmeka/lockerror/stack1.txt] )

    Any Idea why the lock error occurs after a few iterations, and not immediately after Edit DFF is opened in a second tab?

    Hi,
    on the ApplicationModule, did you set the locking behavior to optimistic ? For web applications it should be optimistic and not pessimistic, which is the default setting. Select the AM and choose "Configurations" from the context menu. Click edit and select the property tabs. Look for the locking setting, which should be set to "pessimistic if you did not change it before. Just replace the current value with optimistic

  • System Locking Error - WebAS 6.40 ABAP

    My Netweaver 6.40 ABAP edition is now up and running. License is installed. I had to resolve an index-problem in the database layer by recreating a corrupt index via DBMCLI, but now the database seems to be fine.
    But I still can't "lock" anything. When I e.g. try to change client settings in SCC4, I get an error message:
    "System error: Unable to lock table/view T000".
    When I try to activate a service in SICF, I get "System locking error" (SR053). It seems that the enqueue server doesn't work.
    SM12 (Lock entries) diagnostics say: "System error during lock operation. Execute diagnostics in SM12" (03113). Interesting message, but not much help as I just did execute the diagnostics in SM12.
    The current workprocess configuration is:
    rdisp/wp_no_dia=2
    rdisp/wp_no_btc=1
    rdisp/wp_no_vb=0
    rdisp/wp_no_vb2=0
    rdisp/wp_no_enq=0
    rdisp/wp_no_spo=0
    Which is the default. I also tried
    rdisp/wp_no_dia=2
    rdisp/wp_no_btc=0
    rdisp/wp_no_vb=0
    rdisp/wp_no_vb2=0
    rdisp/wp_no_enq=1
    rdisp/wp_no_spo=0
    but that did not help.
    My hostname is NLVEHVHSE1NB272 (15 characters!). 6.10 could not be installed on a computer with such a long name, but 6.40 can.
    My rdisp/enqname is "NLVEHVHSE1NB272_NSP_", where I would expect "NLVEHVHSE1NB272_NSP_00".
    Does anybody know what the reason for my locking problems could be ? Thanks !

    Hi Ralf
    I had an identical problem and have been able to solve it by shortening the host name to less than 13 characters.
    OSS Notes 611361 and 23538 may he of help

  • Logical locking not working

    Our system consists of ABAP and java stack. There are two server processes running on the system.  We have a web application that is deployed.  We want to lock an object in the init method of the servlet. We are using  logicallocking to do that.
    We want it so that when the application is deploying and running the init method on one server it obtains the lock. The other server process should wait till it obtains the lock.
    This is the code I have
    try {
                        lockOmscb();
                        _omscb.start();
                    } catch (LockException e1) {
                        _logger.logInfoExt("Omscb instance already running, cannot access lock on object.");
                        // TODO Auto-generated catch block
                        e1.printStackTrace();
    private void lockOmscb() throws NamingException, LockException, TechnicalLockException, IllegalArgumentException {
            Context initialContext = new InitialContext();
            LogicalLockingFactory factory = (LogicalLockingFactory) initialContext.lookup(LogicalLockingFactory.JNDI_NAME);
            _logger.logInfoExt("Got intial context lookup");
            _lock = factory.createLogicalLocking("NWCPM", "NWCPM workspace" );
            _logger.logInfoExt("created logical locking");
            lock.lock(LogicalLocking.LIFETIMEUSERSESSION, "NWCPM/OMSCB", cfg.toString(), LogicalLocking. MODEEXCLUSIVE_NONCUMULATIVE);
            _logger.logInfoExt("Got lock");
    In the locking adapter I can see two locks being obtained at the same time. They are not getting it one after the other.
    If I try to obtain the lock twice in the same method then it is throwing the lockException.
    But this is not happening when the web application is being  initialized in the two server processes.
    Logicallocking is supposed to be access the lock between applications.
    Is there a way I can acheive this ? If so how?
    Can you please let me know.
    thanks
    Padmaja

    Hi Padmaja,
    the argument you are trying to lock is _cfg. As you do not deliver the code that defines this I cannot say what it contains, but it is easily predictable that this value is different in two different servers.
    Make it a hard coded string with a value like "Humble" and then you are sure all instances will try to save exactly same value, which will make it work as expected.

    Benny

  • Logical port error (WS_LOGICAL_PORT) when consuming WS in PI

    Hi All,
    I am trying to integrate simple Currency Conversion Web Service witm my ECC program.
    Program displays two fields in the selection screen (Currency From and Currency To)
    WS is: http://www.webservicex.com/ws/WSDetails.aspx?WSID=10&CATID=2
    The scenario is as below:
    Proxy (Z-PROGRAM ) <-sync-> PI <-sync-> WS (Currency Convertor)
    Looks like ABAP Proxy is done ok.
    PI configuration also looks ok as I am trying it in IB's Test Configuration tool - all steps are 'Green / Passed'
    Based on WSDL 3 interfaces were generated:
    CurrencyConvertorHttpPost
    CurrencyConvertorHttpGet
    CurrencyConvertorSoap
    I am using Soap one... along with WS Communication Channel
    CC has configuren itself based on WSDL likn provided,
    Technical Transport Settings were set to:
    Target Host:               www.webservicex.net
    Service Name / Port:     -1
    URL Access Path:          /CurrencyConvertor.asmx
    Transport Binding:          SOAP 1.1 Using HTTP
    Why am I getting logical port error?
    Error while determining logical port Cannot find logical port for agreement EAC1E5CF03FD3B2C827ADDECA2EA6B26 and interface urn:webservicex:com:test:currencyrates.CurrencyConvertorSoap
    I searched the web for error message and I found obsolete logical port configuration using LPCONFIG, and also some 'new' approach with SOAMANAGER LogPort configuraton
    (When I try to do this as suggested in [document |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b04408cc-f10e-2c10-b5b7-af11026b2393?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true]
    then I cannot see my newly created services on the list)
    ... but is this the right track to follow?
    Should I run Logical Port configuration in PI?
    I would appreciate your comments on this.
    Regards,
    bob.

    Hello,
    Why am I getting logical port error?
    Error while determining logical port Cannot find logical port for agreement EAC1E5CF03FD3B2C827ADDECA2EA6B26 and interface urn:webservicex:com:test:currencyrates.CurrencyConvertorSoap
    WS Adapter is used for those that are using WS-RM (Webservice-Reliable Messaging)...See this blog
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b00bbb77-75bc-2a10-6b9a-a6f8161515a6, but I think for now this is limited to SAP-to-SAP connections. That is why in your error it is searching for a logical port (ABAP Proxy).
    You should be using the SOAP Receiver Adapter instead.
    Hope this helps,
    Mark

  • Avoiding Logical Loop Error while defaulting values

    Hi Experts,
    We have a requirement where lets say Attribute A and Attribute B are displayed on the screen, we need to default value for Attribute B to NA if value of Attribute A is set by the user to "XYZ", else whatever value user enters in Attribute B will be set. To achieve this, we are setting the value of the Attribute B in the rule document. If we use the validation rule table like mentioned below, it throws a logical loop error:
    Attribute A
    “NA”
    Attribute B = "XYZ"
    Attribute A
    otherwise
    To avoid this, we are using a dummy attribute for Attribute A (which is not displayed on the screen) to set in the rule document as mentioned below and this attribute will be shown in the decision report:
    Attribute A Dummy
    “NA”
    Attribute B = "XYZ"
    Attribute A
    otherwise
    The issue is, we are sending the Session data to Siebel through OPA connectors. Now these dummy attributes as mentioned above (which are not displayed on UI) are not sent as part of the Session data as these are inferred attributes.
    Is there any way to:
    1. Solve the logical loop error issue so that we dont have to use the dummy attribute
    2. If we have to use dummy attributes, then how to send them to Siebel as part of session data.

  • DEAD LOCK ERROR

    When we are using our oracle application, our session hang every time the user update records. the DBA said that we have a dead lock error... the only thing he did is to reset sa database every time we in counter this problem. but we have this error every day, and i don't have an ideal regarding what is dead lock.

    you don't have a deadlock problem, because a deadlock will be "solved" as oracle simply kills the blocking session and rollbacks the changes.He is right. you might have blocking problem not dead lock problem. Find out the blocker and waiter and kill the blocker session.
    Following query would give you an idea about who is blocking and who is waiting for :
    select /*+ ordered */
    a.sid blocker_sid,
    -- c.sql_text,
    a.username blocker_username,
    a.serial#,
    -- a.logon_time,
    b.type,
    b.lmode mode_held,
    b.ctime time_held,
    c.sid waiter_sid,
    c.request request_mode,
    c.ctime time_waited
    from v$lock b, v$enqueue_lock c, v$session a, v$sqltext c
    where c.address=a.prev_sql_addr and

  • Group data locked error for MM01 using parallel processing

    Hello gurus,
                       I am using Call txn method (MM01) Parallel Processing method ( around 9 threads ). The Materials are getting locked around 10 percent sometimes.
    This is happening randomly ..one day i dont have any locking errors ..next day i have ...Any ideas why this could be..any prereq i need to check before executing the parallel processing..
    Thank you in advance..

    Hi Sasidhar
    I guess you are either extending the Sales Data or MRP Data. Just make sure that you are processing these transactions in a linear form for a single material. We can use parallel processing for different materials but for a single material if we go for parallel processing we can definetely expect the Lock Objects error.
    Kind Regards
