  • Serial number field and table

    Hi,
I want Serial number field and table,
Scenario like this, for returnable packging material we have assigned serial numbers, mtrl type is LEIH,so for tracking of RTP material now we are going to Develop one Report for this i need ur Help.
Logic is:1)Matrl doc at the time of Delievery.
                Qty,Posting Date,Customer,Mvt type,Serial numbers for all.
Beacause at the time of Del we are mentioned all serial numbrs.
2)Material Document at the time of GI.
Same field as mentioned as above.
After that,3)System is to Calculate How many Matrl are deliever to Custmer upto current  Period.Say  10.
4)Calculte  How many Matrl are Recieved from the Custmer upto current  period.say 5
    5)Del - Issue=Total Number of Material is in Customer side.Say 5
6)According to the Serial Number wise system has to calculate in which month delieverred matrl is in still customer side.
(Ex PGI date 20.02.2007  3 qty
    Serial Number    1,2,3
    Issue date    20.03.2007   2 qty
    Serial Number    2,3
Serial number  1 still is in Customer side.
    Age is 2 month)
    I am giving simple ex.
so pls any body is having this idea pls Shared with me.
    Thanks
    Raghu

    Hi Raghu,
Check table SER01(Document Header for Serial Numbers for Delivery).
OBJK is the object table and you will have SERNR as serial number in this table.
    check table EQUI
                          EQUI -SERGE
                          EQUI-GERNR.
EQUI-SERGE is Manufacturer serial number.chk if this is the one u r looking for.
    MARC-SERNP.
key in plant and material in this table to fetch the Serial number profile of the material.
Check in IKPF AND ISEG Tables... ( inventory )
    MSEG~EQUNR
    Hope it will hep u

  • Java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist while invoking a DBAdapter

I have a WebService which is invoked , the request is routed through the mideator to the DBAdapter .DBAdapter interacts with the database and replies the result.
I send in the CreditCardNumber in the request and recieve its Status (VALID,INVALID). i get this error every time . i have tried almost every thing to fix this . Please help me with same .
Below is the complete error stacktrace.
Exception occured when binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'getCreditValidationSelect' failed due to: DBReadInteractionSpec Execute Failed Exception. See root exception for the specific exception. This exception is considered retriable, likely due to a communication failure. To classify it as non-retriable instead add property nonRetriableErrorCodes with value "942" to your deployment descriptor (i.e. weblogic-ra.xml). To auto retry a retriable fault set these composite.xml properties for this invoke: jca.retry.interval, jca.retry.count, and jca.retry.backoff. All properties are integers. ". The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception. Please examine the above error message carefully to determine a resolution.
    Thanks in advance

Can you please check the following
    a. check the JNDI Configuration. ( check for the value used for XADatasourceName )
    b. check the Data source created for the User.
    c. Incase you have updated the existing JNDI then you need to update the adapter with the New Deployment Plan.

  • Export scenarios from XI and import them into PI

    Dear experts
We are planning to upgrade our exitsting XI 3.0 to PI7.0.
Due to system requeriments, we need to install PI on new hardware and migrate all the existing scenario's from XI 3.0 PI7.'0
How to migrate the existing ABAP developements from XI to PI  ?
It's possible to export scenarios from XI and import them into PI?
    Thanks, in advance
    Carme

    Hi,
you should go to PI 7.1 and not PI 7.0 otherwise it makes not so much sense.
And yes it's possible to migrate your scenarios. If you have UDFs you have to check them because the java version has changed.

  • What i use to develop complex tree and table in my web application?

    hi guys
simply most of my work in my web application will be depend on:
    1-tree
    2-table
i need this tree and table deal with database table (or even tables) must be able to do every thing like add node/row/column, delete, update, drag-n-drop, various object nodes/cells like check-box, list, images...etc
i used JTree and JTable then stoped because i faced problems in dealing with applet/database, and i really didnt see this is perfect way to do that even i agree that JTree and JTable are excellent objects. i also start using ajax tree but i didnt see it robust to have all this complicated work with database.
by the way i need also master-detail UI table, but its easy to get this if i have good and flexable table object.
my rest pages developed by jsp, servlet, javascript, html...etc
so any suggestion to how i build this tree and table? i also heared about JSF, is it serve me?
    thanks

so if the only way to use JTree and JTable,There are other ways, but they're not Java and might be more complicated.
    are there
any links you have discussing dealing database with
applet by keep applet away from direct connection to
my database?I'm not aware of links, but it's common sense. You don't want to expose the DB server to the internet, and instead contact a server for authentication that then forwards the request to the DB.

I appreciate your reply. I have some
questions if we go this way:
              1. If we use JNDI and run the modified RMI service
objects (not EJBs yet) in weblogic server, will we be
getting the advantages the same way as for the EJBs,
such as failover using the clustering technology for
weblogic servers. Or failover only works for things
              running in the EJB container.
              2. If we use JNDI, does weblogic server handle service
objects pooling? If yes, how. I would like to make
sure the JNDI way will not perform worse than if we
run the service objects at the RMI port.
              Thanks,

  • How to refresh Java service facade from entities tables

    Hi Everyone,
somebody of you guys know how How to refresh Java service facade from entities tables. from oracle jdeveloper 11g.
    my tools are:
    Toplink
    Adf
    Java Service Facade.
    thanx

    Hi,
sounds what you want is to wag the dog with the tail. What is the use case you want to implement? Do you want to refresh a collection in response to RDBMS changes ? If so then Active Data Services is an option. However, your question is not well asked and I am already spending more time in answering your question than you spent writing it

  • Java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

    Hi all,
I have an Oracle table called: USER_APP_VERSION with the fields (all String): (username, application_name, version).
I use PreparedStatement to insert rows into table:
    String psInsertRpt = "INSERT INTO USER_APP_VERSION (username, application_name, version) VALUES (?, ?, ?)";
    rptPS = conn.prepareStatement(psInsertRpt);
    rptPS.setString(1, username);
    rptPS.setString(2, source);
    rptPS.setString(3, version);
rptPS.executeUpdate(); At executeUpdate() line, I get the following error:
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
    The table does exist, I can use the "INSERT INTO USER_APP_VERSION (username, application_name, version) VALUES ("name", "source", "version")";
to insert rows into db at sql command line, however, when run the same query as part of my Java code, get the SQLException.
Any idea? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the raply. I can connect to the db using a username and password, and run the query with no problem. I use the same username and password to make a jdbc connection from Java code. Since username and password are the same, does "permission" is still an issue? If yes, how can I solve it?

  • JDBC Schema and Table Names Reversed

    Hi,
We're currently evaluating CR4E but are unable to successfully run/preview any reports.
We have successfully created a JDBC  connection using the generic JDBC driver. We are connecting to an Ingres database. The connection is successful and we can browse databases/schemas/tables with no problem. The problem is with the SQL that the reporting engine is generating.
    A simple example:
    SELECT "currency"."description" FROM   "currency"."john" "currency"
In this statement, "currency" is actually the table and "john" is the schema name.
    The query should read:
    SELECT "currency"."description" FROM   "john"."currency" "currency"
Help would be appreciated as we're completely stuck.
    Many thanks,
    Darran Smith

    Hi Tej,
Thanks for clarifying the issue on the JRC.
    Executing:
    SELECT "price_type"."currency", "price_type"."description" FROM   "price_type"."john" "price_type"
against the DB results in "Table 'john' does not exist or is not owned by you" as expected.
    Executing
    SELECT "price_type"."currency", "price_type"."description" FROM   "john"."price_type" "price_type"
against the DB works just fine.
I amended my code to simply call:
    CRJavaHelper.changeDataSource(reportClientDocument, userName, password, connectString, driverName, JNDIName);
and changed the CRJavaHelper.java file around line 145 that originally reads:
    newTable.setQualifiedName (origTable.getAlias ());
I tried setting the qualified name to various different things:
    "price_type"
    "john.price_type"
    "otherSchema.price_type"
None of these worked, but they did produce different things in the JDBC trace log. I've uploaded the JDBC log file to showing what happens with either "price_type" or "john.price_type":
As you can see, everything looks OK (including the schema and table name) until the very final select statement is created.
When you say that generic JDBC is supported, is that what I'm effectively using?
    Cheers,
    Darran

  • How to move elements (figures and tables) to float

    Hi all,
We have created an XSLT for the XML-IN in Indesign, its working fine and all the styles are applied automatically and figures and tables were placed as inline.
Now we need to move the INLINE elements to FLOATING.
How to move the INLINE elements such as figures and tables to Floating. This is for automation purpose.
We are stuck up, please suggest.
Our requirement is need to move the "figures" from "Inline" to "float" for auto pagination purpose.
Please give us a route to end with proper result. We are at learning stage of Java Script.
We use Indesign CS3 with JavaScript, I am not asking the full code, just give us an idea, how to pick from the XML tree and make it as float.
    Kavya

Use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the object, then place it on its own layer.
In your example, you would select the moon. You will see "marching ants" surrounding the selection, delineating  the boundary of the selection and that it is active.
To place the object on its own layer, go to Layer menu>new> layer via copy, or CTRL+J. You will see the object surrounded by transparency (checkerboard pattern).
Use the move tool to position the moon object wherever you want
Place a blank layer below the layer created in step #2, then fill it with your new background.
You can select multiple objects and place them this way to suit. Again, back to your hypothetical of.10 objects on 10 layers, you can link these layers by pressing CTRL+left clicking on each of the 10 layers in the layers palette.
If you use the move tool, you will see that they move as a block. If you are unhappy with one of the layers as you go along, simply delete it, and replace it with a new one.
As for naming the layers, right click on a layer, and from the menu select "rename" layer to bring up the layers properties, then rename it to something meaningful.
    Good luck with your project.

  • SE97 and table TCDCOUPLES in plain english please....

Guys... can anybody please explain to me in plain english what SE97 and table TCDCOUPLES shows me! I read the "called transaction" thing, but can't comprehend the meaning. E.g. if I enter PFCG in SE97 there is a long list of funny transactions.
Is this a log of transactions called once in PFCG? Or possible transactions called from buttons, ect. from in PFCG? Or is it all the transactions from where you can call PFCG?
What do I need to do in connection with SU24 and creating roles?
    /vitofava

Often transactions link to other transactions via drilldown, buttons, views etc.
Where SAP uses CALL TRANSACTION for this link we can use SE97 to force a check on S_TCODE or to ignore the S_TCODE check.
An example: MM50 allows the extension of a an material master for other org units.
As standard MM50 calls MM01 for this and any users with MM50 also require MM01.  It is a common situation where MM50 is required  by users but MM01 is not suitable.  In this case you can use SE97 to set MM01 as "do not check".
Users can access MM01 functionality when called through MM50 but do not require MM01 in S_TCODE.  If they try to run MM01 they will get an authorisation as it is not access through/coupled with MM50.
Like SU24, SE97 isn't completely accurate and a lot of it depends on use etc.  Recently I saw a scenario where particular (legitimate) use of MM02 required S_TCODE for SM30, which on this particular instance wasn't one of the default entries in SE97/TCDCOUPLES
The parallel with SU24 is that you can switch off some checks on S_TCODE for linked transactions in the same way you can switch off some auth object checks for a transaction in SU24

  • Question on rectangle with graph and table

i inserted the graph chart and table in a rectangle for similar values... but when i see the preview of this scenario... its showing seperately.... its mean that first showing the rectangle and then graph and then table in the preview page. when i saved
it into PDF; both chart and table are coming in same rectangle.
can any one please give a quick response to this.

    Hi  Nagalinga,
Based on my understanding, you create a chart and table with same values, then you use a rectangle to contain them. When previewing the report, rectangle, chart, table displays separately. However, when exporting to PDF, the chart and table display in a
    same rectangle.
In Reporting Service, rectangles can be used as containers to help control the way data regions render in a report. However, a rectangle is only a container for items that you either create in the rectangle or drag into the rectangle. If you draw a rectangle
around an item that already exists on the design surface, the rectangle will not act as its container. So in your scenario, I suppose you create a chart and table then draw a rectangle around them, rectangle, chart and table will display separately when previewing
report. As we tested in our environment, we create a chart and table with same values, then drag them into a rectangle, the chart and table both display in a rectangle whether we preview the report or render the report as PDF. Please refer to the screenshots
    below:

If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
    Best regards,
