WD My Cloud URL address last digit keep randomly changing

Hi. I hope someone can help. The WD MyCloud device that have seems to just ramdomly change the last digit on the URL address for no apparent reason. One day it wil be 4 and the next I know it will have changed to 3 or 2 or whatever t decides. When this happens I am unable to access the device from my laptop until I have changed the target URL address on the shortcuts. Also I get an network connecteion error message 906 on my smartphone so I then need to remove the device from my smartphne and mannually add it again. Surely this cannot be right! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It's the IP address. Your router is changing it because you have IP address selected by dynamic DHCP. Use your router's control panel, and look for a page called something like 'Devices', find your MyCloud, and change the IP assignment method to something like 'fixed', 'always use this address'address', 'infinite lease period", or simply change it from DHCP to Static.

If mean by way of Safari, that is correct. Only content of the Camera or Photos apps are available. you will need to find an alternate app such as iCab Mobile for uploading documents to a website.

.mac keeps randomly changing my email address

Every couple of months I get a message saying that I have to give my password for keychains to get my mail. When I go into the accounts part of mail, I notice that the info has changed...particularly my email address. I have set up new accounts numerous times (for the same email address), but then a few months later the info in accounts is changed again.
Any clues on how to keep it from changing?

I am being logged out of these forums every time I restart my browser, and this seems to be related to the fact that my Adobe ID is not an email address. This happens using different browsers, in Mac and Win machines, and with three different ISPs. Unortunately, I have been unable to change my ID to an email address, even though I have changed my email address several times and using different browsers and machines. The changes are accepted but, despite the many warnings, my Adobe ID is unaffected by changes of my email address.
When I am logged out, on entering these forums I am welcomed thus:

If I restart my browser and go to the Adobe site, I am welcomed just as before. If I then click on the Sign out button, I am no longer welcomed by name, and if I click on the Your account button, this time I am taken to a login page here:

but now the Adobe ID field is blank:
but I still have to log in using my non email address ID. This is one of the reasons that suggest to me that the root of my problem may reside in some problem in my account data.

IPhone 5c ..The Time keeps randomly changing.

My Iphone 5c shows an incorrect time, i tried a few things including resetting the phone. I have changed the time manually but after an hour or so the time just randomly changes. This is very frustrating and makes the phone useless to use as an alarm clock. I am sure it has to be a software issues but have tried syncing and like i said i have even done a hard reset but all to no avail!...Please help..is driving me mad.

It sounds like you the time is acting unexpectedly on your iPhone. I recommend starting by closing all the open apps on your device:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and test the issue again:

Permissions of HDD's keep randomly changing somehow only having the option "Write to Dropbox" ... I've never touched Dropbox in my life + General Privalege/Users Issues

A few off things been happening recently with permission on my hard-drives and various mounted items. I've noticed this happen on and off for a good year, but gotten far worse last few days. When I right click on one of my four internal hard-drives (all OSX Journal format) as it was a few minutes ago the permissions did not even include my username name, but a new user called 'Admin' instead, and 'Staff' and 'Everyone', all of the settings were locked to the option "Write only (Drop Box). I should say I avoid any cloud hosting like the plague out of principle, not even looked at thier websites also I've even banned my computer from every single main one, for incoming and outgoing connections, by using the the Pseudo-Firewall Little Snitch. Also banned the 5+ background processes bundled with OSX that connect you to icloud.com.
I was unable to change the permissions (as write:dropbox was the only one listed for all three accounts). Since my user is an Admin I unlocked and added my local account under my login name to the list, and then I had the the option 'Read & Write' 'Read Only' and still 'Write only (Drop Box)'. Now it's giving me a few more options, like removing the admin account (even though only option is still the dropbox, same as the staff account which I can also now delete). The 'everyone' account (which I can't delete, and wouldn't've anyway, because that'd be stupid) is still however greyed out with the only option being the dropbox one.
Basically I've issues like this with all my drives on and off for months, the above is just one example of this weird kind of behaviour. So why does Drop Box keep appearing, and somehow changing all my permissions like this? That is my main question, however I'll briefly list a series of other odd things I've noted recently in the paragraph below. I just want to know if it's abnormal behaviour or totally expected.
Side-notes: a) I also have noticed strange behaviour with the hidden and locked folders and files, ie, some are locked so I cant even get permission as admin to see content of them, these folders all say 0 Byte size even though (if or when) I work my in though terminal they clearly have many files in b) many of my hidden folders give the info of being created and modified all on the date 01/01/1970 even when I add a plain document to them or something and modify them right then c) many of these folders show a new privilege for me called "Custom" (with no way of customizing or finding out what such a privilege does) and if I change it from custom to read/write/whatever, it vanishes as an option never to be seen again. d) A lot of these folders temperamentally do one of three things: The get info says it contains xx files with say 20 mb in, but when I get in it's 100% empty in explorer even with hidden files being shown, or conversely many folders hang with the loading button when 'calculating size' in-definitely only to have nothing inside, or lastly a hidden folder will says it's a got a huge file-size content (up to 3gb) on on accessing it it's blank e) Lastly some very specific folders simply don't let me in or alter any privileges at all, the only name listed is 'Admin' but it's greyed out. f) Apple > About this mac > More info > System Report > Profiles it simply says "No information found".

Address bar drop down randomly changes from large block to compressed ones. How do I change it back?

I woke up the other morning and the drop down for my address bar, which had previously had a generous block for each address in memory, had changed. All of the block for remembered addresses had been compressed to half the size they originally were. I tried changing settings, and when that didn't fix it, I switched themes.
It was fixed for a time, but did it again earlier today. I haven't altered any settings, so I don't know why it's doing this. I'd like to get it back to normal, because the compressed block are annoying, and harder to read.

Firefox keeps randomly changing Clear History settings to also clear Saved Passwords.

I have "Clear history when Firefox closes" selected but the "Saved Passwords" option is unchecked.
After a couple of days the "Saved Passwords" option becomes automatically selected. I am certain that nobody is manually changing these settings but the change happens nevertheless.
This breaks my Sync and it drives me crazy. Any ideas how to fix this problem?

In webmail, my view keeps randomly changing to Zoom in or Zoom out...i have to go to View and recheck "Actual Size" but it still keeps doing it. Any ideas??

Apple ID keeps randomly changing to the icloud ID on its own.

On iPhone 6 with 8.02 after being logged in to iTunes,immessage,facetime with Apple ID the next day it suddenly shows it's logged on with the icloud ID when I didn't change it.

Try the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod

I am trying to fill out a form and the last digit keeps on being deleted when I move to a new section. It does not matter is the last digit is a letter or a number. It also does not matter how long the text string is.

In the ALV, check the title name in field catalog of this particular column. Change this to a bit more lengthy one. In your example if it is a 3 char length then change to 4 or 5 char lengthy.
Or else try setting the OUTPUT LENGTH in the field catalog also.

When I'm viewing the page in Dreamweaver and go to Preview In

send it to my teacher in an email (I need to send him my link to

What am I doing wrong?

"Preview".

When you click on the down arrow on the HTTP line where the last URL address you keyed in is displayed - it will show the history of the last URL addresses you keyed in and visited. It will also display a second line known as "identity information". How do I get rid of this useless piece of information that forces a second useless line to be displayed?? I just want the URL addresses I had keyed in before to be displayed (one per line). Like all previous versions of Firefox and IE.

Personal domain on MobileMe, repetitive URL addresses and personal site?

Okay, this may be two topics, but I don't know how to describe it briefly enough for the subject line to get it all across. At least not at the end of a long day.
I have a website I designed and published via iWeb '09 promoting my home motorcycle service. I have the domain name registered through GoDaddy.com. I followed the instructions posted in another thread linked to GoDaddy's MobileMe instructions, and also used MobileMe's personal domain instructions to the point where it appears to work, but I still feel like I'm doing something wrong. The domain name is below.

However, when you type this into a browser, it forwards to my PERSONAL site which is also in the same iWeb file, which is basically just a blog and some pictures. It takes you to:

...when I'm trying to get it to bring up this content:

I was under the assumption that my personal site would remain located within the web.me.com domain, but it appears not if it's part of the same iWeb file. Is this correct? So hypothetically, if I was to get a domain name for my personal site, like www.chrisratledge.com, or whatever, could I get it to work independently of my moto service site within the same iWeb file? Would I have to duplicate the file and delete one of the other ones to keep them separate, or would that not work either? In other words, in iWeb, when you choose "New Site," will it always be like a subdomain (don't know if I'm using that nomenclature correctly) on your account?
Also, is there a way to truncate my URLs for these sites? Like when I type in www.bltmoto.com, it would exist and displays in the URL field of the browser as:
http://www.bltmoto.com/Home.html
instead of:
http://www.bltmoto.com/BLTMotoService/Home.html
Also, the page names in iWeb I designate also appear directly as typed in the URL address line and at the top of the browser title bar. Is there a way in iWeb to change this? I'd like the Title bar to display the company name and page info, such as:

Is there a way to change or modify this within iWeb, or is this strictly a HTML code modification?

Okay, I figured that may be the case for that issue, shortly after I asked the question, just didn't mess with the order to verify it.
Basically, iWeb site structure is to produce a url that is http://www.domain.com/sitename/pagename. The only way that you can change this if you are publishing to MME is to change the way in which you forward your domain name - change CNAME to ordinary web forwarding and then your url will be http://www.domain.com for every single page of your site. The only draw back to this is that individual pages of your site cannot be bookmarked, just the whole site.
Hmm, so I think I see what you're saying about the page structure, so no matter what I do while publishing and hosting on MME, the only way to have my domain name stay "www.bltmoto.com" is to change the CNAME setting on GoDaddy to "ordinary web forwarding" - I have no idea what that is or how to do it - but then every single site and page I publish will only have the "www.bltmoto.com" URL?
Your only other option is to purchase a hosting account from GoDaddy and upload your site directly - if you do this you can upload just the contents of your site folder rather than the whole folder itself and this will then give you the domain name www.domain.com/pagename. RSS feed will not work though, as you have broken iWeb's site structure and I see that you do use this so it might not be a viable option for you.
So is there no way to create separate websites with separate domains using iWeb, and publish them to other MME accounts or keep them separate? My dad wants me to put together a site for him that he would publish and host on his MME account. Does this mean I'd have to create it on his machine, or could I create a new iWeb file for his site and publish it to his account from my computer? Suddenly the convenience appeal of the marketed ability to host personal domain names on MME doesn't seem convenient at all.

I have a journal/publication client that is wanting me to
begin using a unique-identifier for each of their articles in
thieir Journal. This new initiative is to conform with their
participation in the DOI (dig. obj. identifier) process for the
articles in their journal.
To comply, they need to have a url setup such as
http://www.ajjtp.org/10.3519/ajournal.2006.2163
(preferred) or
http://www.ajjtp.org//doi.cfm?doi=10.3519/ajournal.2006.2163')
and then have that url pull up the correct article pdf from thier
database. I have all of the DOIs (10.3519/ajournal.2006.2163) in a
database that is matched to the article pdf addresses.
But, my level of cfmx programming is only beg-mid level and
I'm not certain how to attack this project? Can anyone offer help.

P9_REPORTS holds the url address from the select query that built the radiogroup.
