WD Mycloud streaming & iTunes and iPad/phone

Anyone have experience with WD Mycloud storage device, iTunes and iPad/phone? Trying to stream music from the storage device to iTunes/etc and it ain't working out so well.

I've had a not-so-rewarding experience with one of Apple's support-issue-submission forms. It was a reminder that as much as I'd prefer to think otherwise, Apple may be unusual, but it's just another company where it's not possible for everyone to be "above average".
Frankly, I'd be happy in this case if iTunes dropped an XML file with apps-in-folders, let me mess with it, and then loaded and applied it to shuffle things around. That's one thing I love about OS X, but then that also allows one to be too smart for one's own good. Be careful what I ask for, I guess...

Thanks I do relise this but I was asking becouse it is an access to the account and I wasn't sure if I had to remove a restriction or something along those lines, or if I had inenvetently fumbled a setting on the phone or something do I thought I'd ask if any one had encountered this issue before ..... Stream itunes to ipad from time machine

stream itunes to ipad from time machine. My setup is macbook, itunes music folder is on my timecapsule drive, audio is m-audio powered speakers off the airportexpress . I steer the stereo from my ipad only when the macbook has itunes open.
My questions is how do I get the ipod app on the ipad to pull from the time capsule when the macbook is off?

You cannot stream directly from a Time Capsule. Apple TV and iPad can only connect to a computer's iTunes library using the Home Sharing feature.
It may be possible to store your iTunes library on a Time Capsule and point your iTunes application to look for it's library on the Time Capsule but Home Sharing and iTunes is what makes this all work.

Sorry, downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple, thus there is no official way to do so. Your phone was re-locked to the carrier it was originally locked to because you hacked it to unlock it. Apple's servers detected such & re-locked your phone. You need to contact the carrier your phone is locked to if you want to get it officially unlocked.

You will need to restore the software via the following procedure:
Turn your device off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your device and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a device in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.

It should be there. Are you sure the iPad is running iOS 5? You can check in Settings>Genreal>About. The iOS version is shown under Version.

happened to me the first time i used the i pod app after the i tunes update. simply back all the way out - (double hit the home button - the ipod app is one of those things that seems to continue to live in the multitaking bar). When you restart the i pod app, it should dome back fine. I do not think (but maybe I did) that I needed to do a full shut down - just fully close and reopen.

As peter says, this is evidence that your phone was previously hacked and was re-locked by the upgrade.
ONLY the carrier it is locked to can unlock it. There is nothing else we can suggest.

I'm not sure why this would happen. But I think I did see another post a week or two ago about this. Have you tried rebooting your computer and resetting your iPad.
To reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
