WDA application in sicf but not in se80

hi al,
I am working on travel management WDA applications, one standard application fite_request (for create travel request) is activated  through SICF tcode, and i am able to test this service through SICF.
but when i am entering this in se80, this application is not coming, what would be the reason please tell.
although the component in this application i.e FITE_VC_GENERAL_DATA is coming in se80, but not the main application FITE_REQUEST
thanks
Bala

Well, that is not completely true.
The drop-down menu does not contain the "Web Dynpro application" entry but you can go to : Other objets... -> Web Objets -> Web Dynpro applicat.
Then, you can click to Utilities -> Display Objects List

  • Clients getting Applications and Packages, but NOT Software Updates

    I am trying to set up a new SCCM2012 installation and have come across a strange problem that I need help on.
    We have a single primary site at one location with distribution points at several other locations. Clients at some of the locations (but not all) are able to get deployed applications and packages from their DP, but for some reason are not able to get Software
    Updates from the same DP.
    When I look in the LocationServices log, I can see it contact the DP when an application is available. The following appear in the log:
    Current AD site of machine is XYZ
    Calling back with the following distribution points
    Distribution Point='https://<My DP>...,Locality='LOCAL',DPType='Server',Version='7958', etc.
    Calling back with locations for location request {<CID>}
    But otherwise, the LocationServices log is filled with:
    Current AD site of machine is XYZ
    Calling back with empty distribution points list
    Current AD site of machine is XYZ
    I don't understand how the machine is able to locate and work with the DP for Applications/Packages, but not for Software Updates. I'm thinking it must be something with the boundaries/boundary groups, but I have checked and everything seems to be fine,
    and they are working for Apps/Packs.

    The WindowsUpdate.log seems to indicate that it is talking with the MP:
    **START** Agent: Finding updates [CallerId=CcmExec]
    *Include potentialy superseded updates
    *online=Yes;Ignor download priority=Yes
    *Criteria="(DeploymentAction=* AND Type='Software') OR (DeploymentAction=* AND Type='Driver')"
    *Search Scope={Machine}
    +++++ PT: Synchronizing server updates +++++
    + ServiceId= {<CID>}, Server URL = <My MP with appropriate port>
    Agent * Added update {<CID>}.202 to search result
    * Found 289 updates and 77 categories in search; evaluated appl. rules of 2711 out of 4339 deployed entities
    ** END ** Agent:Finding updates [CallerID=CcmExec]
    But there is no mention of my DP.

  • Applications installed correctly but not showing in applications folder Macbook 2009

    I have a friends MacBook running 10.6.8 2.26Ghz Intel Core Duo 8 gig ram. I have installed UnrarX a couple of times with no errors in the installation process, however the application does not appear in the applications folder or any where else and cannot find it to open .rar files.
    I fixed the issue by simply copying the UnrarX app from my MacBookPro but would like to find out what is going on. I have been told by my friend that she has had this issue before.

    I'm not familiar with that application, however, taking a guess that UnrarX installs in such a way that when you right click on a file name, it's a utility that's available to use on that file, as opposed to a separately executable program.

  • MSB3187 Referenced assembly ' ' targets a different processor than the application using MageUI but not in VS2005 build

    I have a C# application that I'm trying to deploy, it contains a number of dlls one being a C++  dll. When  I  build the application (referencing the C++ dll) in Visual Studio 2005, it builds and publishes without any problems. I want to move the application to a live server so I'm using MageUI to change the Start Location. When I load the application manifest and then load the files; I try to save the manifest and get the MSB3187 error. I checked the C++ project and the Target Environment is set to "Not Set" and the my application is set to Any CPU. Are these  compatible and if not do anyone know what they should be?

    Have you tried to moved the applicatin to a different web server?
    In my environment, my build machine is dedicated to just doing builds. The output is deployed to one of several different servers depending on various things. I do know the deployment can't just be copied to a new server. The manifest has to be rebuilt and resigned, this is to prevent people from hijacking a ClickOnce application. Could that have something to do with your issue and the warning MSB3187 was always there but unnoticed?

  • Why does opening some links in Firefox causes a "Server Error in '/' Application Runtime Error" but not in "Internet Explorer"?

    When I click on some links in an email (and Firefox is the default browser) I get the following error:
    Server Error in '/' Application.
    Runtime Error
    Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated.
    If, however, I click the same links (and Internet Explorer is the default browser) I do not get any error and the proper content of the link is displayed.
    What is causing this error? As I prefer Firefox, how can this problem be fixed?
    OS Windows 7, Service Pack 1
    Firefox Version 32.0.1
    Internet Explorer Version 11.0.9600.17280
    Thank you for your assistance.

    When you look at the address in the address bar, does it seem to match up with the email?
    Sounds like Firefox sent the server something it wasn't expecting. Sometimes this can be caused by obsolete or corrupted cookies -- assuming you have visited the site before. It also might be caused by modifications to standard information sent to servers such as the "user agent" string that specifies your browser version and OS.
    To clear a site's cookies, while viewing a page on the site, either:
    * right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    * (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

  • Old application proxy-aware but not able to use WPAD

    My organisation uses an old application which activates itself over the internet.  Unfortunately this only works if the proxy server is explicitly defined in Internet Settings, however a WPAD file is enforced by GPO.
    Delivering this via App-V 5.0 I was hoping to overcome this by overriding the proxy settings via [HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings] but all policy keys (including Internet Settings) are ignored by design.
    Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I may work around this restriction?

    Hi all,
    there is a registry Key available handling this behaviour.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\AppV\Subsystem\VirtualRegistry\PassThroughPaths
    Default contents of this Mulit_SZ:

  • IOError in IE but not in Firefox (possible crossdomain.xml problem)

    Yesterday, I hopefully debugged a problem that is occuring for our application in IE but not in Firefox.
    It has to do with accessing remote content from a separate domain.
    In every aspect it APPEARS to be a crossdomain.xml issue but the fact that this issue only arrises in IE is what has prompted me to post here.
    We have a solution in the works (bureaucratically speaking) but I want to double check here.
    Our application is on domain "a.domain".
    It access an xml file on "b.domain/xml/".
    And finally (this is the tricky part) it also accesses an xml file at "b.domain/forwardingPath/" which is actually forwarded to "c.domain/xml/".
    The crossdomain.xml is located at "b.domain/crossdomain.xml".
    The request for "b.domain/xml/anXMLFile.xml" works without any problem.
    The request for "b.domain/forwardingPath/anotherXMLFile.xml" succeeds in Firefox but not in IE (remember, the ACTUAL request is forwarded to "c.domain/xml/anotherXMLFile.xml").
    In IE I get an IOError.
    I believe we need an appropriate crossdomain.xml file also located at "c.domain/crossdomain.xml" and have put in that request.  What I want to confirm is whether this understanding is correct.  I am not a server-side person at all.  It's all elves and fairies to me.  And then finally, why the hell is this behavior inconsistent between IE and Firefox?  Is the Firefox version of flash player violating its own security standards?!
    I am cross-posting this at stack overflow.  http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7395931/ioerror-in-ie-but-not-in-firefox-possible-cross domain-xml-problem

    I've pinged our developers about this and here's what they have to say:
    "We did some work for the plugin around redirects andhence the correct behavior on Firefox.
    AFAIK, on IE we don't get notified of the redirect and can't participate in making security decisions during redirect scenarios. This behavior is out of our control.
    There is a workaround documented in the AS3docs here: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/system/LoaderCont ext.html#checkPolicyFile
    Here is the pertinent paragraph:
    Be careful with checkPolicyFile if you are downloading anobject from a URL that may use server-side HTTP redirects. Policy files arealways retrieved from the corresponding initial URL that you specify inURLRequest.url. If the final object comes from a different URL because of HTTPredirects, then the initially downloaded policy files might not be applicableto the object's final URL, which is the URL that matters in security decisions.If you find yourself in this situation, you can examine the value ofLoaderInfo.url after you have received a ProgressEvent.PROGRESS orEvent.COMPLETE event, which tells you the object's final URL. Then call theSecurity.loadPolicyFile() method with a policy file URL based on the object'sfinal URL. Then poll the value of LoaderInfo.childAllowsParent until it becomes true."

  • Action method called in standalone OC4j but not OAS

    I am setting up a test environment on Solaris x86 machine and have run into an odd issue concerning an action method being called which seems to be an issue for Oracle Application Server (OAS) but not an issue for stand alone OC4J.
    The application is using Java 5, Spring 2.5, Java Servlet 2.3, Struts 2, iBatis 2.2, Sitemesh, and Display Tag to name some of the parts that are in play.
    The platform is a Sun Fire X2100 server running Solaris 10 OS (64-bit). The application server version is 10.1.3 (Solaris x86, 64-bit) connecting to Oracle database server 10.2.0.2.0 (Solaris x86, 32-bit). The stand alone OC4J that I used for comparison was 10.1.3.4.0 (also run under the same Solaris machine but not while the application server was running).
    Going from one JSP that contains a list of items ("authority ids" in this case) to another JSP which displays detailed information about one item (chosen by clicking on a hyperlink in the list), it appears that the setter action method (which sets the 'sid' property) does not get called under OAS so the page displays empty fields. Same code running under the stand alone OC4J, the setter method does get called and the fields are populated on the details page. In both cases, both deployments are hitting the same database and the data is successfully retrieved from the database (into the action class). In both cases, the parameter that is set by this action method is present in the URL for the detail page.
    Snippet of code from the JSP that loads the authority ID list (and passes the sid in the URL):
    <display:table name="authorityIdList" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" requestURI=""
        defaultsort="1" id="authorityIdTypes" pagesize="25" class="table" export="true">
        <s:url id="editurl" action="editAuthorityId" includeContext="false">
          <s:param name="redirectUrl" value="%{returnUrl}"/>
        </s:url>
        <display:column property="fieldName" escapeXml="true" sortable="true" titleKey="authorityIdType.fieldName"; style="width: 34%" url="${editurl}"
          media="html csv xml excel pdf" paramId="sid" paramProperty="sid"/>Snippet from the authority ID detail form where the sid should be populated:
    <tr style="display: none"><td>
          <s:hidden key="sid"/>
            <s:hidden name="redirectUrl"/>
        </td></tr>Snippet from the action class that contains the setter for the sid property:
      public Integer getSid() {
            return sid;
      public void setSid(Integer sid) {
            this.sid = sid;
      }Snippet from the resulting html page for the list includes the sid for each item in the list.
    <td style="width: 34%">DODAAC</td>
    <td style="width: 25%">DODAAC</td></tr>
    <tr class="even">
    <td style="width: 34%">DODAAN</td>
    <td style="width: 25%">DODAAN</td></tr></tbody></table>Under the stand alone OC4J, the setter method is called, so the sid is populated (and the item detail data from the action is retrieved and displayed).
    Snippet from the resulting detail html page from the stand alone OC4J:
        <tr style="display: none"><td>
             <input type="hidden" name="sid" value="1" id="saveAuthorityId_sid"/>
            <input type="hidden" name="redirectUrl" value="http://system01:8888/MyApp/admin/authorityIdTypes.html"; id="saveAuthorityId_redirectUrl"/>
        </td>Notice that the sid value as well as the redirectUrl value are populated under standalone OC4J.
    Under OAS, the setter method is not called, so the sid is not set (and none of the other item detail fields are populated).
    Snippet from the resulting detail html page from OAS:
       <tr style="display: none"><td>
             <input type="hidden" name="sid" value="" id="saveAuthorityId_ sid"/>
            <input type="hidden" name="redirectUrl" value="" id="saveAuthorityId_redirectUrl"/>
        </td>Notice that the sid value as well as the redirectUrl value are empty under OAS.
    Any ideas on what I need to change in OAS configuration to make this work under OAS (if this is a configuration issue)?

    I found another case that may be clearer.
    A confirmation page on the application server shows that the redirect url is not being populated:
    <form id="confirmation" name="confirmation" onsubmit="return true;" action="/MyApp/admin/confirmation.html" method="post"><table class="wwFormTable">
         <input type="hidden" name="redirectUrl" value="" id="confirmation_redirectUrl"/>
       <tr>
        <td colspan="2"><div align="right"><input type="submit" id="confirmation_continue" name="method:proceed" value="Continue"/>
    </div></td>
    </tr>
    </table></form>Same code running on the standalone OC4j does populate the redirect URL:
    <form id="confirmation" name="confirmation" onsubmit="return true;" action="/MyApp/admin/confirmation.html" method="post"><table class="wwFormTable">
         <input type="hidden" name="redirectUrl" value="http://system01:8888/MyApp/admin/users.html" id="confirmation_redirectUrl"/>
       <tr>
        <td colspan="2"><div align="right"><input type="submit" id="confirmation_continue" name="method:proceed" value="Continue"/>
    </div></td>
    </tr>
    </table></form>So it appears that the application server is having problems passing parameters to pages.
    I have been digging through Oracle documentation, but I haven't found any clues on how to fix the issue.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    - David
