Wdr_test_config without icons

Hello,
I just want to enable webdynpro for abap. Several services are activated. But I have already in wdr_test_config a problem. At the login screen I see instead of a button a link to login and I got a javaScript error (line 107: expecting object). After pressing login it appears a page with a box to select flight number and so on. In the next line after Total: I see a red cross (I guess missing an icon). On the right side a link 'personalize'.
Can some one tell me what's wrong in my configuration?
I just figured out, that the service works in a non-unicode-environment. Is there any difference in the configuration for a unicode-System?
Best regards
Jürgen

Good evening,
I'm trying to carry out a speed test via BT's speedtester but i've come up against the following message:

In order to commence the third test, you are required to temporarily re-configure your Connection settings. WARNING:
Before changing your PC/Modem settings, please note down your current Username and Password details.
You will not be able to connect to the internet without reverting back to the old Username and Password settings.
If you are unable to follow the instructions given here (to the right) or if you are not confident to change these settings then please go to FAQ Section or seek assistance from your ISP.
      Instructions:
Go to the start menu, click Settings, Control Panel and the Network Connections folder.
Select the Connection that you use to connect to your ISP.
Change the Username to: speedtest@speedtest_domain and blank the Password.
Set this connection as your default and click Ok.
Double click the connection and wait for the message "Connected".
Once this has successfully Connected, click the button below
Now perhaps I am being dense but I am finding it very difficult to follow these instructions.  Can someone clarify.  I'm using Windows Vista.

Hi there,
What the instructions are asking you to do is change the user/password settings on your router (not the network connection)
Go to your router's main page and log in (If you're using a HomeHub, this will either be http://bthomehub.home or http://192.168.1.254 )
!!DON'T FORGET TO MAKE A NOTE OF YOUR CURRENT BROADBAND USERNAME AND PASSWORD!!
Next, you need to look for your username and password and replace them with the above settings in order to use the speed tester
You will need to restart your router, so that it logs in to the exchange equiptment with the details above.
Hope this helps.
Oh, don't forget to change the username/password settings back to your usual one after you've finished using the speedtester.

    Can you use addition DISPLAY LIKE dtype. Dtype is "A", "E", "I", "S" or "W" in upper-case letters.
    If you use another letter the message don't show the icon.
    Example:
    Message I305 DISPLAY LIKE 'N'.
    The message is without icon but when display show the letter N like this:
    N:Message

  • JFrame without icon in taskbar

    Hi to you all.
    I'm writing an application that needs to open many(from 1 to as many the user opens) distinct JFrame on the desktop. I would like to eliminate the icon in the taskbar[I don't know if the name "taskbar" is correct 'cause I'm not anglophone, however, the one with the start button on it ;) ]. I searched carefully in the whole JFrame javadoc but found no method that could help me. It's because it doesn't exist or because I didn't find it? I also looked for it in the forums but I wasn't able to find something there neither.
    Thanks

    I had a similar problem right now. I was trying to get a JWindow behave correctly with focus events, but had no luck with it.
    Then first I tried to do it with a JFrame, but didn't like the thing you talked about: The taskbar icon of the JFrame.
    But then I remembered dialogs as they have no taskbar icon.
    So to do your stuff just use a JDialog, put it setUndecorated(true) (to take away the title bar if you need to) and you're good to go.
    To catch focus events, use windowFocusListener and get focus with requestFocus().
    The problem you had is this: The JWindow (and WIndow) have much more strict requirements for gaining focus than with dialogs and frames. For these matters see Java API for Window class, methods isFocusableWindow() and getFocusableWindowState().
    To get JWindow's focus work, you have to have its owner visible and a visible focusable child component in the window (in its contentPane).
    Sidenote: Actually I was looking for an answer for my problem from this thread and even read mlk's suggestion about dialogs, but it didn't ring any bells at that time (well it seems that I have 5 minute wiring...).

  • Displaying JFileChooser without icons on the left !!

    Hi,
    I am creating a JFileChooser as:

            chooser.setMultiSelectionEnabled(true);

            chooser.setControlButtonsAreShown(false);
            chooser.setCurrentDirectory(new File(path));
            chooser.addChoosableFileFilter(new MyFilter());
            chooser.setAcceptAllFileFilterUsed(false);
            chooser.setDialogType(JFileChooser.OPEN_DIALOG);
            chooser.setMinimumSize(new Dimension(550,350));
            chooser.setPreferredSize(new Dimension(550,350));But I dont want those icons (Recent, My documnets, My Computer, My Network Places ) to be apper on the left. Is it possible to eliminate them? If yes, would u pls give me some hints?
    Thanks

    Anyone???patience little one, 2 hours is but a blinking in the eye of the Jav.
    The buttons are OS specific stuff... maybe you can't hide them, as they don't have the equivalent on other OS, and as such any code to do so would be meaningless on other platforms.
    However, windows seems to only display those buttons in certains contexts, so maybe its possible...

  • Exporting without icon

    I'm a new user of Aperture and slowly learning how it works: one of the things I've been trying to figure out is how to export images and not get custom icons for the exported files, I would to have a plain generic icon.

    That's not possible on the current version of Aperture. Would be nice an option like photoshop's 'save for the web'.

  • I have bookmarks in the toolbar without icons

    In my bookmarks toolbar, some of the entries have icons and some have only a box. Is there some why I can make Firefox look up and use the icons for these web sites?

    The bookmark has the following URL:
    https://mychart.sutterhealth.org/?mode=home&aff=2&onepasswdfill=8DE41DBBBFDD492B9A18CC03A45EE433
    Now this URL comes from the 1Password system and goes to the home page of Sutter Health, which is
    https://myhealthonline.sutterhealth.org/mho/?mode=home&aff=26
    It logs me in, and then the page I got a screen shot for is displayed.
    But the issue here is that the bookmark on my bookmarks toolbar has no icon, but rather an empty square. I am asking is there is a way I can get the icon of the home page to show there.

  • Mobile: URI's without icon on the launcher

    I'm developing an app using a custom URI on Android. This is how my intent looks like:
                        <intent-filter>
                            <action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW"/>
                            <category android:name="android.intent.category.BROWSABLE"/>
                            <category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT"/>
                            <data android:scheme="myuri"/>
                        </intent-filter>
    However, I get a parse error when I want to install the APK. I absolutely need to include a second intent filter with a MAIN action to get things working.
                        <intent-filter>
                            <action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN"/>
                            <category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER"/>
                        </intent-filter>
    This means that it's currently not possible to develop apps using custom URI's NOT shown on the homescreen.
    Is this a bug?

    Try with a JDialog.

  • JButton text position without an icon

    Hi,
    I'm trying to set the text on my JButtons to be in the top left corner. I've read many of the topics on JButton text position, but they all assume you have an icon with your text. I want to be able to do it without icons (as my buttons don't need them). I tried using the setHorizontalTextPosition and setVerticalTextPosition methods, but the text is still in the same spot.
    Does anyone have any ideas?

  • .m4v file icons have become solid white in Finder under iTunes 10.6.3

    Hi there,
    I just discovered this little annoyance... I thought I'd seen the last of it under a prior version of iTunes, but it may have come back.
    iTunes video files (.m4v container files) have suddenly defaulted to a plain white icon in the Finder - desktop, folders, etc. - upon updating to iTunes 10.6.3.  The generic blue "notes" icon with "M4V" has disappeared, and will not reappear upon attempting to clear out the icon during a Get Info.
    Strangely, if "Show icon preview" is checked under Finder's View Options, it will display any associated album art with the .m4v file correctly - it just so happens that something occurred with the default icons.
    I rebuilt the Launch Services just in case, and these files by default still open with iTunes as per usual.  Checked for corrupt .plist files (even trashed com.apple.finder.plist) and cleared some caches out, ran maintenance scripts, etc. to cover any possible loose ends, but this issue is still present.
    I recently upgraded to Lion 10.7.4 (long time SL holdout) but everything was normal under iTunes 10.6.2 - so I cannot determine whether this is a Lion issue or an iTunes issue.  I am going to post this in the iTunes forum as well, but has anyone else noticed this recently?  If so, what did you do to fix this?
    Thanks all,
    Steve

    That's the point to where I was getting - without icon previews, the default icon for .m4v files should be the following:
    (This was just taken from my wife's MacBook Pro, still on iTunes 10.6.2 but running Snow Leopard 10.6.8)
    Under Lion (10.7.4) and iTunes 10.6.3, the default icon (no previews) is empty white, which I do not believe should be - I had the above generic icon for .m4v files in Lion under 10.6.2.
    Yet iTunes-associated audio files are fine: (from my iMac)
    Strange, isn't it??

  • OS 10.4.6 crashes with ipod+itunes....and also without.

    My computer was running fine untill I got an ipod+itunes.
    When I have the ipod(video) hooked up via USB and i try and play music off of the ipod through the powerbook it will eventually just stop. It seems to be random if it happens on the 1st song or on the 15th...it will just stop playing and give me a beachball mouse pointer when i put the mouse over itunes.
    If i try and Force Quit the app it does go off the screen, but the little black arrow stays on under the icon in the launcher bar.
    If I try and shutdown, it doesn't work. It almost gets to the end of the shutdown process, but the background color stays up, and the finder bar at the top stays up, without icons or text, and it just hangs.
    I have to hold down the power button to shut the computer off and then restart it.
    After this started happening i started to get more weiredness....I usually close my screen when i walk away from it at work. When I come back I open the screen and it gives me the password propt. Sometime it will also hang here, giving me the beachball pointer, and the mouse will not move, and the computer will not accept any commands. Again, reboot with holding down the power switch.
    Lastly it also just sometimes stops responding when its jsut been sitting for a bit....Except somtimes text appears over the desktop, something to the affect of "darwin login" and a bunch of numbers and such.
    So i took it into the Genius Bar. And the guy pulled up a terminal window and did top -u
    The updates were very slow to update. And that was all the help he provided.
    I came home and uninstalled iTunes completely, and top -u started to update at a normal pace.
    I then reinstalled iTunes and the update is sill at a normal pace.
    So I went to reinstall the OS, and i can't find my CD. I think i left it in the box when I threw it out.
    I'm looking for suggestions on what steps I can take to get this situation remedied.
    thanks in advance guys/gals.

    Why do you want to play music off your iPod when connected to the computer when you can do so with iTunes?
    Keeping the install package that ships with a new Mac purchase in a safe place is always a good idea for a number of reasons. Running Disk First Aid repair on the hard drive and for re-installing an individual application or the entire OS if needed. If you cannot find the install package, you should contact AppleCare about getting a replacement.
    As I'm sure you know (and although it appears you've had no other choice), a hard or improper computer shut down is not good for a hard drive under any platform.
    As a first step, I suggest Resolving Disk, Permission, and Cache Corruption for system troubleshooting procedures and when doing so, follow all steps/instructions in the order provided.
    Since you cannot find the install package that shipped with this Mac when new, you'll need to use fsck instead in place of running Disk First Aid repair.
    Check this link for instructions to run fsck.

  • How to remove Login, sites, register icons in the iStore page

    Hi,
    Can some one guide me in finding how to remove the Sites and Register icon that comes on the top of the iStore pages along with the logo on the left corner.
    Also i want to know how to change the jsp file of the Login icon that comes along with the Sites and Register icon in the top part of the iStore page.
    Please guide me in figuring out the solution for this requirement.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    No need to customize the ibeCCtdMenu.jsp to remove the icons, It is enough to change the Profile option "FND Branding size" to the value "Medium" or "Small".
    After changing the profile option value, bounce apache. The links will be dispalying now without icons. Try out this!!

  • JMenuItem icon prboblem

    Hi,
    I implemented some JMenuItem in my application. Some of them have icons, some don't. How can I justify their position for those ones without icons??
    Currently it's like:
    [ ] item1
    [ ] itme2
    item3
    [ ] item4
    thanx heaps

    Create an empty icon, one that has a size but doesn't paint, and add it to the ones you need justified. That's how I solved the problem for my app.
