hello nokia,
we are using one of your most popular mobile the n73- music edition ( product code for my mobile 0564012)
as it is seen over the internet that nokia is rolling out firmware updates for their s60v3 devices like some of the e-series.., i just want to know if nokia will release a firmware for our mobile..??
if not.., its our humble request to release one.., which can provide better performance and stability..
most common complaint is regarding its speed..
for eg while entering to menu the mobile becomes sluggish.. even if the phone memory is empty n no memory card is ther...
i've nokia n8, 5230, e63 at present in my family n i'm a big fan of nokia n iu'll be glad to see your reply soon..., n ofcourse the new firmware.... pplllllssssss do the needful..,

The N73 was long since discontinued. There will be no further firmware updates for that model.
If you are unhappy about that you can complain to nokia using the "contact us" link near the top or bottom of this page.

To Nokia: will there be a fixed/new firmware for E...

Last week I updated the firmware of my E61 to version 2 and I really regret it. (is there anyway of going back to the old firmware? ) I cant stand pressing blue function key when I browse the web on my E61 every single time I want to use a shortcut, it gets reallllly annoing after a few times. I think most of E61 users will agree with me that this 'bug' ruined this update. Also there seems to be a problem with mp3 player. When an equaliser preset is active it goes off every time you change the song and you have to press volume up or down in order to set it on active again. I know there are more bugs in this new firmware but I think those two I mentioned are bothering me the most. I would also be very very thankful if the new firmware will have support for PAP for EAP-TTLS. (or maybe a separate plugin ?) any replies are welcome (especially from the Nokia staff )

The iPad 4, which is now also called the iPad with retina display, essentially replaces the iPad 3, which is no longer available except as a refurbished product. The naming is confusing, as both the iPad 3 and iPad 4 had a retina display. I called my local Apple store, and they said no, but I'm waiting for a call back from a manager to confirm this.

New firmware for Nokia C7-00

After a quick search around, i get completely lost about the right and safe firmware for this phone.
There are some issues ready to be fixed, so im guessing nokia is working on that. Having that said, i see to many firmwares, to many versions, to many sources, absolutely no oficial news on that.
Using the phone itself, there are no new updates.....

Actualy, even i dont input my product code, when i select the phone, immediately i get: There are no software updates available for this product yet
So, i understand there is zero releases for this phone, since its exists....
Hope im wrong.
Paid big money for a phone who doesnt identify the sms sender.....

It's not about old or not, it's about that productcode which is under your battery. Take a look here, and follow the instructions. If there is not an update available, you just have to wait.

NOKIA, you are really ridiculous for how you handled all the holders of a n97/mini before you did pay a lot of euros then you realize that it was a huge **bleep** and have lowered the price so exaggerated now not even have the decency to respond to the owners saying When you can pull out a firmware that removes all the bugs this phone pitiful. We would do a class action against you for fraud

What do you mean when say 'your operator'?
Do you mean cellular operator or other? Please write with more information! What is 'your operator' and how contact with him?
1) if you mean cellular operator, its full s(sory)... if we fly to another country we don't need change phone soft, so why you make reference on operator?
2) few months ago me succeded update on my n95 to v20.0.015 but now available v12 (what so rollback to old version)? And on 6290 when i bought it, the 6290 already has firmware v3.06 but on nokia page available v3.03 and you say is fault of 'operator' ? How it's can be?
May be is fault of NOKIA or some errors on database or web pages - then Nokia must check it and fix!!!

2.60 is OK, I use it without any problems for several weeks and know that also others who were unhappy with 2.50 are using it and are now happy .

Connection lost while update new firmware for E71

When I update new firmware for my E71 by OVI suite but after finished download and its step to prepare to install then it lost connection.
I restart my phone for many times, then it allowed us to process for next, when i click next then suddenly its disconnect USB, when wait for a few minutes then its allowed process next.
Mean that, its always disconnect USB when i click next to installing. please see attach file.
Please help me, what happen with this installing new firmware?

Not quite sure from your post whether E71 still functional upon previous firmware and just fails to update every time that you try; if that is the case it may be easier to find another PC.

Any Plans To Release NEW Firmware For E4200???

I can't believe that Cisco would release a router that has so many issues/bugs. It somewhat feels that people like myself who purchased this router are BETA TESTERS. It ticks me off that I spent $190 for a router that has yet to live up to the hype and perform up to expectations.
Seriously look at Netgear. They release a new firmware for the WNDR3700 on a WEEKLY basis and they actually LISTEN to their customers. Thus far we've been left in the dark from Cisco regarding the E4200. Their tech support is completely useless/worthless. All they tell you to do is reset the router and reflash with current/out-dated/beta firmware.
Some of the current issues of the E4200 (that needs to be addressed via new firmware):
-blinking white Cisco logo on top of router
-LAN connections not showing up in DHCP Client Table
-Wireless connections showing up as LAN and vice versa
-inconsistent/sluggish wireless speeds
I've already gone through 2 E4200 routers and each have had the EXACT SAME problems. Coincidence? I think not. I've got 2 more weeks left to return my current router. Unless a firmware is released to address these and other issues.....I'm moving on to another brand and I'm officially done with Cisco.

Then move to another brand. Linksys always had other update cycles then Netgear. If you like Netgear so much you should get a Netgear. Of course, other brands have similar issues with their wireless devices and you will find that even Netgear has some issues which they have difficulties to get fixed. Likewise the tech support which always depends on who you get connected to which is a gamble with any telephone support...
And don't forget that it's a consumer device designed to be extremely cheap. There is a reason why you would have to spend a multitude of what you have spent on the E4200 if you were to got the same functionality with Cisco Small Business or Cisco Classic devices which get excellent support and are extremely reliable. But even there, you only get a firmware upgrade every couple of months and they still have the one or other little hicup...

For when a new firmware for normal N73?

I know there is a new firmware for N73ME, my question is, anybody knows when will be release a new firmware for normal N73, with same improvements like N73ME (or more).
