We are facing problem in BCS activity for Break Entries of Accounts
Hi All,
We are facing problem in BCS activity for Break Entries of Accounts.
We are using 0FI_GL_6 Datasource which do not have Transaction Type field in it.
After Extracting data from the datasource (0FI_GL_6), we get GL Account Closing balances for the period, but we require the transaction types for Assets related accounts for the BCS activity.
Currently We upload the Asstes Data through External Flat files in BI.
Can we have these data comming direcltly form R/3 with the Transaction type Field.
We are on R/3 SAP ECC 6.0 support patch 15 and on BI we are on BI 7.0 with support Patch SAPKW70020 and SEM-BW SAPKGS6014 , BI_CONT - 0012
Can we use GLT3 table, if yes please suggest the steps to Fill the data in this table. Or is there any other table and way.
Thanks in advance,
Nilesh LabdeIs the conversion factor is same for BT UOM qty to CS is same ?.It seems BT is sales unit and the picking unit for the item is CS.If the conversion is same warehouse pick correct qty.Therte should not be an issue.
What is the UOM in delivery ?.Is it BT or CS.I think it is CS right ?.If you want to see sales unit is cs then you need to change the material master. -

JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Problema Crystal Reports and JBoss
Hi All!<br>
I'm developing a swing based that retrieves data from a JBoss connection and I need to add support for crystal reports.<br>
So here is my environment:<br>
Swing Application(JavaWEB using jnlp)(JAVA5)->Jboss 4.0.2->dataBase oracle or SQL Server.<br>
<br>
I can develop and run my report in report designer without any problem using JDBC(JNDI) connection, but when I open this <br>report in my application, if the JNDI Optional Name is not set, a connection box is opened and everything works fine.<br>
The problem occurs when I set JNDI Optional name to the jndi name of my connection(jdbc/FMSDataSource), and try to run the report I receive an error (UndeclaredThrowableException).<br>
<br>
I need to use JNDI connection because there are a lot of users that cannot connect directly to database.<br>
I can see in my JBoss logs that he received the JNDI connection to get the datasource and sucessfully created the proxy <br>classes, so the error seems to be in Crystal component!<br>
Someone can help me???<br>
<br>
To create the swing crystal interface, I'm using the java classes created by crystal plugin for eclipse.<br>

Error while executing Crystal report in client computers
I got this error message -2147206460 Crystal Reports Activex Designer invalid directory. any idea guys how can i fix this. I tried using Crystal Report viewer in the server and its working perfectly.
thanksMichael Litiatco
is your report working on SAP from server machine or it only works on Crystal Report on server machine
IF your report is working on SAP server then, the problem is on sharing the .rpt file with client
Place the .rpt file in shared folder whichi is accessable from all the clients then use that .rpt file in SAP CR addon and update it
updating the path from each client system SAP towards shared .rpt file
do you have any firewall installed, try disabling within your network and check
This should Fix your problem
make sure the printer is shared and correct printer is set as default printer
if possible give a test print page from client to make sure the printer is online

Strange problem crystal report & used-defined field
I've a user-defined field in the table OCLG
this field is alphanumeric linked to a user-defined table
I've read this field in crystal report
(at the moment is enough the code)
when I do the preview in crystal report there is not problem
but when I do the preview in SAP B1 I don't see any value
what could it be the cause?
thanksI created it with the follow tool:
"Tools\Customisation Tools\User-Defined Fields-Management"
These are the field characteristics:
type: alphanumeric
lenght: 50
structure: regular
set linked table: <a user-defined table>
I also did the test to create a rpt with the only table OCLG and 2 field
- ClgCode
- U_Incaricato
the problem remains the same -

Issue in crystal reports in client machine
my project is running fine on development machine where i have installed visual studio 2013 and i later installed CRforVS_13_0_10 to add crystal reports feature ... i developed an application and used sql server for database ...
when i run this software on client pc , my project is working fine except crystal report , when i want to view crystal report it gets busy in loading crystal report later it gives message
"Failed to open the conenction , Details : [Database vendor code: 17] temp_ ....."
on client machine i have installed CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_9i think i caught my problem but could not able to solve yet , my issue is that in development pc i set database of crystal report by selecting proper database linked to sqlserver ...
later when i run my project in some other pc (i change pc name in my app.config file),
and then the project runs but not crystal reports
crystal report does not find database as its pc name is different , whereas pc name which is hard coded is the name of development pc ...

Crystal Reports addon client installation
When I try to install de add-on in customer machine an error appear that the exe installation file of crystal reports does not exist, In the server there is not a problem only with the client workstation
Mauricio RodriguezHi, Mauricio
Related to your doubt, the problem appears in different clients.
I know this requiere a specific solution but in order to solve the problem I have removed the Crystal add-on and registered it again from the local direction C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\AddOns\SAP_CR
The next time that you will conect the client the message will not appear.
This is a temporal solution while we can find a definitive. If you know something I will appeciated a lot.

Problem Crystal Report on SAP 8.8
Hi all!
I need to modify an addon developed for SAP2007 so that it works even on SAP 8.8. Now, i have an error when i try to show a report made with Crystal Report. I know that in SAP 8.8, Crystal Reports are seamlessly integrated in the core product. The addon source code that generates the error is as follows:
If File.Exists(sReportName) Then
Dim oeng As New SAPObjects.Engine
Dim f As New frmReportViewer(SBO_Application)
Dim rDoc As CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument
rDoc = New CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument()
rDoc.Load(sReportName)
rDoc.SetDataSource(dsReport)
f.VisualizzaReport(rDoc)
oeng.ShowDialogSapWindow(f)
End If
The error is returned when you try to initialize the object rDoc (The type initializer for 'CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument' threw an exception).
I linked to the project the following references:
- CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine
- CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Framework
- CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.InfoStore
- CrystalDecisions.ReportSource
- CrystalDecisions.Shared
- CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms
Thanks.

Instead try it after installing all the pre-requisite softwares which you are doing with SAP 2007.
thanks:

How can I determine if PeopleSoft Queries are used in Crystal Reports
One PeopleSoft user requested that we delete 118 Queries. How can we determine if any of these Queries are being used in Crystal Reports?
>
One PeopleSoft user requested that we delete 118 Queries.
>
Why? How would the user know, or even care, if the queries exist?
It is not the concern of a user whether such queries exist or not. If your system has a security flaw that allows non-privileged users to executed those queries then you need to fix that flaw.
Remove the privileges that the user has on those queries and then, for that user, the queries will not exist.

You can't.
How do you determine if an app has any Java code that uses the SCOTT.EMP table? You can't. -
