HELLO I HAVE PROBLEMS TO SYNC MY IPHONE WITH MY ID , MY CELL COMPANY IN SPAIN TOLD ME THAT THEY ASK TO APPLE TO SET FREE THIS IMEI ******, SO I AM CONNECTING A FEW TIMES A DAY TO ITUNES, TRYING TO UNLOCK MY IPHONE TO USE IT WITH A DIFFERENT SIM FROM A DIFFERENT CELL COMPANY, BUT I VE BEEN A WEEK DOING IT FORM MONDAY AND STILL THE SAME WONT WORK, SO I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO, I RESET ITUNES FROM MY LAPTOP AND REINSTALLED AGAIN THIS MORNING BUT NOW IS EVEN WORST I CONNECT MY IPHONE AND I DOES NOT APPEAR ON ITUNES, SO I CHECK CONECTIONS AND IT SAYS THERE IS A PROBLEM....SO I REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO...

First off, please turn off the caps lock. It makes it very difficult to read the post, and on the internet, it is considered shouting and rude.
The carrier is the only one that can authorize an unlock, and once the send that information to Apple, it is generally processed quickly. For many carriers, the final step to unlock a device is to restore the device as new, not from a backup. At that point, you should receive a message in iTunes, Congratulations, your iPhone is unlocked.
When you attempt to insert the SIM from a different company, what is the error you get, besides you saying it won't work? If you have removed and reinstalled iTunes, did you do it by following the steps in this support document? If not, then you could cause additional problems. Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 - Apple Support
If this does not help, then contact the carrier again to have them check on the status of the unlock.

  • Wait for a return code in a Macro

    I have a macro in 7.5 that submits data and then waits for a return code before moving to the new step in the macro.   I have changed the sumit code to the new EPM standard, but the macro fails at the Get Events step which is where the macro waits for the return code.  The Fail message is  "Error 1004-cannot run "Get Events". Macro may not be available in this workbook or all macros are diabled."
    My current code is:

    Hi Debra,
    SaveWorksheetData  - is synchronous method. You don't need to wait ... the next line after  SaveWorksheetData  will be executed only after save is finished.

    Hello,  I have songs that show they are "Waiting" for download from the cloud but they are greyed out.  Some songs in one album are done others in the same album will not download. It is not a time function because i have been working on this for weeks. I have allowed my compter to run for days and the songs are still not accessible.  I have a Match subscription and Match is working.  If I click on the "Genre" link the greyed out songs show that they are ready for download from the cloud but I cannot download them.  I have downloaded over 1500 other songs, so I am trying to understand what is going on here. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.

    I did think about that and if I have to I will do that, however there are about 50 songs. I have closed and reopened iTunes several times and I am sure that I have the latest version. It fails right away but I can click on the cloud download icon and download the song that it failed on ... therefore it is not that song "or any one song" causing the issue. Any ideas?

    You can also use transaction SWI5... enter the user id of the person and select the workitems that are yet to be completed... this will display all pending workitems.

    We only know what information Apple has released. The only real thing released is iOS 6 will be out in the Fall. We have heard no official announcement as to the date of that release, nor have we received any announcement of the release of a new iPhone, no matter what they want to call it. Your decision to purchase a phone has to be based on your need at the time and what is available.

  • For those who are impatient for the Iphone 5 delivery. I got mine and didn't wait..

    If you are impatient and want the iphone 5 in your hand the very next day, I suggest going to the apple site and place an order for in store pickup. Originally I placed my order with verizon and had a 3-4 week wait. Then I decided to cancel the verizon order and I got myself one the very next day and didn't have to wait for long delivery dates. Here is how I did it:
    1) Go to http://www.apple.com/retail/iphone/
    2) Notice the message "iPhone 5 is available in limited quantities. Buy it at your favorite Apple Retail Store or choose in-store pickup when you buy online between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m."
    3) I have noticed that by the time you fill out the form information at 10pm, the iphone 5's are out of stock at your local store in probably 5 minutes. So they sell out really fast. So what I did to bypass the form was to login with my appleid and pre-fill the form around 9:30pm and SAVE it to the cart. 
    4) At this point, I needed to know exactly what store I wanted to pick it up from. I chose 3 stores around my area in order of preference in case if one didn't have it in stock I could move on to the next without wasting any time thinking about it at the time of checkout. When 9:55pm rolls around, I logged into my saved cart and checked out picking the store I wanted.
    5) Then entered my payment information and picked it up the next day.
    The only disadvantage to this approach was you may not get your preferred store, but this didn't bother me too much as I didn't want to wait 4 weeks for my phone. I hope this helps some people. If there are questions, I will try to answer.. Good luck to those still waiting!!

    Upgraded iPhone 5 64gb phone to iPhone 6 Plus 128gb and phone went into cycling reboot. Have 1260 apps installed on iPhone 5 with flawless functionality using IOS 7.1.2. Apple Genius Bar unable to get working and since phone was bought at Apple online, could only offer refund, as an exchange phone would not be able to be returned if problem existed on exchanged phone.Something to do with my phone coming directly from China, even though Apple recommended having an easier buying experience using the internet. BTW, 3 employees that I was handed off to said they had never seen this symptom, even after doing Google search in front of me showing a good number of reports of this issue. Are employees hiding this situation from customers or just not engaged in Apple products to be knowledgeable of current issues?
    Some dialogue indicates that there may be iPhones with MLC NAND flash memory instead of the cheaper TLC NAND flash memory that may solve this issue. How can I request this hardware fix? Does Apple notify distributors of serial numbered devices that have this upgrade? Are distributors able to offer this upgraded hardware to the end users that happen to fall in this statistically low percentage group that need this type of fix to return functionality to their purchase?
    Coincidentally, my iPad2 (64gb) developed the exact same symptom when I upgraded from 7.x.x to 8.1.1 (which was purported to fix this problem) which suggests that it is linked to the 8.x code in some way). I was able to return functionality by restoring from a backup (thru iTunes) and limit apps to 468 installed.
    By my iPhone 6 Plus being returned with no warranty exchange, I fear that no data was collected to further the need for Apple to gather an appropriate degree of accurate information to process this need respectfully.
    Frustrated (and loyal owner of every iPhone to date) and looking for answers.I am forced to continue use of iPhone 5 with 7.1.2 (no hope of going to 8.x) and somehow being cut out of group that had battery recall with this phone needing 3 charges/day and NO upgrade path at the moment.

    I had the same problem, crashes every 5 minutes or more. Apple support did as if it was my problem with apps, no hardware problem. I did return the iPhone and are using my old iPhone 5 again, with all my apps and IOS 8.1.1, no problems, no crashes. Now I think of a Samsung Note Edge, was a Apple supporter since iPhone 3.

    Love my Iphone 3G and realize it is time to upgrade but this 4.2.1 upgrade was anti climatic resulting in the sporatic disappearance of my photos. I liked apple because I felt they address small issues as well as large ones. Dont change!

  • Contract ending soon...wait for the iPhone 5?

    My contract ends on 6/4/11 and I'm thinking about waiting until the summer to see if there will be a Verizon iPhone 5 since I don't want to buy the iPhone 4 now and have it be obsolete within a few months.
    If the iPhone 5 does come out later on in June or July, my contract will already be over. I've heard that contracts continue on a month-by-month basis if you don't cancel it but I can't find any specific info on the site. Is that true?

    a couple of ways to look at this, of course this is amongst the dozens of threads already discussing this
    1. "IF" a new one comes out in june the iphone 4 is not obsolete, it is still a great, fast phone that will continue to get updates as Apple releases them
    2. Buy now, if a new one comes out in june, you can get like $400 or so on ebay and buy the new one
    3. there is most likely a new iphone coming for att in June,  NO ONE knows if it will be for Verizon also, so you may be waiting for absolutely nothing
    4. and the most obvious most given answer, If you keep waiting for the next best thing, you will never own anything
    My other phone, the droid inc is older then the iphone 4, A LOT of droid phone have been released after it and my Inc is still not even close to being obsolete, it runs fine.
    Maybe at this point I finally will say the iphone 3g, not 3gs, is almost obsolete because 4.2 killed it and it's terribly slow, that phone is almost 3 years old and its just becoming obsolete, I still sold it however for almost $200 on ebay so it still holds the value, I sold it for what i paid 2 years later
