We have 2 iPhones. How can I get my contacts from showing up on my wifes?

My wife just bought an iPhone after admiring mine for a year. After I synced hers to our computer my contacts show up on her phone (hers don't show up on mine).
In iTunes I clicked on my wife's phone profile and then the info tab. While there is a section for "contacts" I see no place to select a specific set of contacts (the window that seems to display different contacts is blank) .

You can create a separate library for your wife's iPhone.
To create a new library:
First create a new folder in the iTunes/music folder called Wife iPhone, so that it is easy to determine that this is where your wife's iPhone library etc are stored.
1: Double click on the iTunes icon and straight away after doing this hold down the SHIFT key.
2: You should now see a little window appear, click on create library and choose the location where you are wanting it saved to, its advisable to save it in the folder called wife iPhone. You will now have created a totally separate library for that iPhone.
3: When you are wanting to connect/sync with the desired iPhone to iTunes and access the library that, that one uses. You need to load up iTunes again and hold the SHIFT key, but this time you need to click on choose library and locate the library file from the folder you created earlier (wife iPhone). The library file will have .itl on the end of its name.
