itunes accounts are not the same as icloud accounts. It's okay to use the same ID for the itunes account on different devices owned by different users. That way you share purchased items. But for icloud, each user should have their own account if they want their own data, otherwise data is shared among all users.

If your cellular plan/carrier allows use of the iPhone as a hot spot, yes. Verizon does on some plans, at least in my area, but I can't speak for other providers.Set up on the iPhone is in the Settings App > Personal Hotspot.

Apple's policy on sales of digital content is that all sales are final. If however you wish to appeal to Apple, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer. -
My itunes library has automatically started to list my songs alphabetically. I do not want this. How do I change it so that when albums come up, the songs are listed in the order of the imported album, NOT alphabetically.
For the missing Artists on your iPod, make sure their tracks in iTunes are not marked as "Part of a compilation" in iTunes. You can do this by highlighting the track, right->clicking on them and choosing "Get Info" from the shortcut menu. When the window pops up, head over to the Info tab and make sure there is NO tick mark next to this option in the lower right hand corner. Lastly, sync the updated changes to your iPod.

Whilst upgrading to V 7 of RoboForm - this means having to pay for Upgrade. This is because despite an assurance that when I paid the orginal fee - with a Lifetime of future updates would be free - they i.e. Roboform lied! You now have to pay to upgrade.
However the problem is not with Roboform but Firefox - I used to think it was great but now it is rubbish! Upgraded to V6 - All my previous Addons disabled & I can't get RoboForm toolbar re-installed. So I will start using IE from now on - it is really pathetic!! -
I have a 5s with an apple account and wife has a iPad air with its own cell number. Does the iPad need it's own apple account to use it's own phone number so her FaceTime calls are not sent to my phone. We want to be able to link each device to iCloud and share music, photos, ect. iPad iMessage and FaceTime have my cell number activated.

I recently downloaded the iCloud/iTunes Match.. both of which I still have no idea how to use.. my songs began automatically downloading somewhere on my iPhone.. there are alot of songs in my iTunes Library on my MacBook.. and I didnt want all of them to get downloaded to my iCloud/iPhone..how do I start over and choose what gets downloaded? Also, I have purchased several songs from iTunes Store that did not get downloaded to my purchased list.. for example: I purchased 2 Katy Perry Songs, only one was uploaded to my phone..why and how do i fix it? I've never owned an iPhone and I fear my phone is smarter than me.. Help.. How does all this stuff work?

When you subscribe to iTunes match, you cannot selectively choose tunes to add to it, it's either or nothing. When you then enable iTunes match on your iPhone, none of the tunes are downloaded to your phone, you simply get a list of everything that is available in your iTunes library and the ability to download them as and when you want. -
My wife (who has a Droid) asked me to text a photo to her. I went to Message on my 4s, selected my wife as the target for the text, selected the photo, and sent the text. Rather than appearing on her mobile phone, the text went to her email. When I selected my wife as the person I wanted to text, I was not given any choice of the target phone number or email address...it just defaulted to her email and did not tell me that is what it was doing! I did find a solution, but it's more complicated. I have to go to Contacts, select my wife, and then I'm given a choice of how I want to send the Message. Why doesn't the iPhone do this in Messages in the first place?

Do you mean the From field?
You can change it by tapping it, it will give you options based on the other email accounts set up.
You can set a default account here:
Sttings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > scroll down to the Mail section & you will see Default Account. You can change that to your gmail account. -
I was trying to set up my mobile phone with Android with the Firefox App and my Netbook which I use the Firefox on and sync them but it came up that I have a Master Password but I do not recall setting one up and I have record of all my passwords that I keep in a secure place and I had trouble with a hacker who had accessed several of my accounts and I am now concerned that they may have also access this and we did not catch this one as we did the other accounts and stopped them from getting access. But that is not my concern any longer as that has been remedied the problem is how do I get the password unlocked or changed since I have no idea what it is? I tried to turn it off but it will not allow me to do that either without knowing it. Please advise as to what can be done so I can use this App on my Droid. Thanks. Deborah

Why has my iPhone and iPad stopped texting SMS to other phones which are not iPhones?
This past week I have noticed that any text messages to others who I know do not own iPhones seems undeliverable. I have 2 friends who I have always been able to text with, but unable to successfully deliver a message now. Also have rebooted phone and tried it on my iPad. Still not delivered.

The iTunes store blue "A" icon disappeared from my iPad's desktop. Applecare had me erase and restore the whole thing which took forever and the icon is STILL gone! Does anyone know how to get it back?

I do not understand you problem. Where your purchased the iPod does not matter.
You can only use the App/iTunes store in the country you are located and your account payment method (billing address for credit card or when your purchased than iTunes gift card) has to be associated with that country. -
I have 4 devices on my iTunes account which all have different names or ID's. An iPad 2 which I just got at Xmas, my iPhone 4S, my wifes iPhone 4 and my daughters iPod. I always hook up to iTunes via a cable/dock when syncing them all separetly. Since buying the iPad 2 every app that I have downloaded on it seems to be going over onto my iPhone 4S when I next sync it after I have synced the iPad 2 to iTunes??? I do not want anything that is on the iPad 2 automatically going onto my phone the next time I sync. How do I stop this happening?

Thanks in advance!On the iPhone, go into Settings -> Store and turn off "Automatic Downloads" for Apps (and Music and Books, if you wish). You can also do that on the iPad to prevent it from going in the opposite direction.
That will stop any automatic downloading... to prevent them from coming over when using iTunes, select the phone (under Devices), Apps, and then uncheck "Automatically sync new apps." Again, do the same for the iPad if you wish. -
